Ability to hide Stories / Short form content from following page and sidebar The new implementation of pushing short form content to the top of your following page and the sidebar is extremely annoying as someone who intentionally avoids short form content. I'm aware of how much time can be easily stolen from users scrolling short form content and find that behavior extremely concerning for long term health, so I choose to avoid and hide these content forms where possible. Imagine my dismay when discovering twitch has also decided to also opt into having its own form of this new media plague, and has not even considered that some users do not even…

let us ignore recommended channels Hello
Please let us remove og ignore channels so they don't appear under the recommended channels. There are often times channels I really, really don't want to watch in my recommended channels and it's annoying that you won't allow me to adjust something that A) Is taking space from channels that I might love but don't know exist yet and B) Is a core part of the user-specific experience.

New Categories for creators Have categories for creators be more diverse. Have things like Playstation, Nintendo, Atari. Not just "retro" cause a lot of games don't deserve that branding but have the category be an entire console series. Playstation encompassing PS1 - 5 including mobile. Nintendo can cover every console from NES, SNES, Virtual boy, switch and whatever else they have made. I feel the "retro" category is to vague and broad for anyone to really stumble upon what they would like to really see. for other PC games not new or listed, have it retro PC or post a category as PC decade…

Add Earthdawn TTRPG category Earthdawn TTRPG is an licensed game under FASA Games that released 30+ years ago. It's in the same universe as Shadowrun. There are players who come into my stream saying they've been looking for players in the category but it's hard to find them (They find me in D&D or trying to search "Earthdawn" directly. In the relevant online communities and even the official FASA discord, they have people saying they wish they could easily find players in the system to watch.
I understand that IGDB exists for Digital Gaming, but it's also for lifestyle content as well. Examples of…

Exception of a Game Mod to show in the Twitch category list as a Main Game We recently applied for a new game category in IGDB, however, it was identified and accepted as a Mod for a very similar game.
We would like an exception for this and for the game we applied to be available in the categories so that the game's content creators can find and define that they are playing this game.
The game applied by us:
https://www.igdb.com/games/habblet
https://www.igdb.com/games/habblet/changes/1994812This is very important for us to be recognized on Twitch.

"Spirit Tamer TCG" Category The game I'm developing, "Spirit Tamer TCG," is entering PUBLIC playtesting soon. We would love to have a space to easily find others streaming the Spirit Tamer TCG once the public playtest begins.
This would help streamers and players find their communities, build discussions around gameplay, show different perspectives as we host tournaments (both playtesting and release), etc.
Spirit Tamer TCG opens up to loads of content after launch, between webcam matches, digital platforms people may play on, product opening streams, tournaments, etc.

Root The adaptation of the very popular board game Root is present in the IGDB database (https://www.igdb.com/games/root--1), and does fit in the guidelines for new categories on Twitch.
It would be more than appreciated to add it as a category on Twitch.

Live Police interactions I would like to suggest adding a dedicated section under the "IRL" category for live streams of police traffic stops and law enforcement encounters. Currently, there is little to no platform specifically supporting this type of important interaction, which could promote transparency, safety, and accountability for both civil servants and citizens. By providing a space for these streams, Twitch could fill a significant gap in fostering real-time public awareness about proper conduct during police encounters, while allowing law enforcement to demonstrate professionalism. This feature would serve solely as a neutral platform for recording and broadcasting such interactions, with Twitch avoiding…

Dota 1 / Defense of the Ancients As described already here:
https://www.igdb.com/games/defense-of-the-ancientsPS: I don't know why there is already a "dota" category of a game that has ZERO VIEWERS . ZERO STREAMS and ZERO RATINGS: https://www.igdb.com/games/dota
Is this a tin foil hat moment or what ? We, the dota1 community been struggling for over 10y+ to bring Dota as a separate category so they don't get mixed with default Warcraft III players.

On the sidebar: Make it so I can add or pin a specific channel to this bar. On the sidebar: Make it so I can add or pin a specific channel to this bar. I use this sidebar to see when some channels are live that have a lower view count so they would appear lower on my followed list but higher on the sidebar, HOWEVER, some channels that don't go live that often (once a week or less) don't show up here even though I watch them every time they go live.

Agriculture Agriculture is essensial to our life. The love of raising animals and growing crops or vegetable is vhat is driving us Farmers! I discovered few farmers on Twitch recently and find this difficult to find more of them throughout Twitch's Categories as for now. I see a constant interest from people for farming content. I think that people want to know where their food is coming and how it is been produce. With the help of streaming plateform like Twitch I think that we can help the farmer to share their love of what they are doing and explain how…
