Auto refresh for broadcast page. Hello. I have a suggestion that would improve my use of Twitch on PC. I am constantly refreshing your site in order to see if any of my broadcasters are live. I'd like to not have to do this. I wish that the site would auto-refresh on this page: http://www.twitch.tv/directory once every 10 to 15 minutes or so. Then I could be aware of who is broadcasting without the need to worry if I'm missing someone that I follow. A global schedule to gather all upcoming events from big streams Like you probably have noticed, popular streamers and streaming organisations provide their viewers with a weekly schedule on their profile page which covers almost every need. Except for rare events, like tournaments, 24-hour marathons, or big charity-funding events (like AGDQ). What I would like to see is a way for those streams to submit those big dates to something of a "Twitch programme schedule", which gathers the information and makes it easy for the daily viewer to see if there is anything special happening within the upcoming days, and if so, what time they start.

Language Filter Implement a filter that would be present no matter what section of the site you are on allowing you to filter based on a primary language.
1) Force a streamer to select a single primary language
2) Allow streamer to select multiple secondary languages
3) Implement a filter that would be at the top of any search/game/category listing...The filter should have two features.
- Allow user to filter based on primary language ONLY

add a "new streamer page" So That new streamers can get the publicity they deserve! when i was a small streamer i found it hard to get followers. i had a good quality stream and a couple of friends who watched my stream. and i think that new streamers are pretty much abandoned, they should get the chance to get bigger instead of waiting months for just a couple of viewers to pop buy

More Stream Filters Add a filter to sort by competitive, casual, variety, speed-runner streamers. Viewers can have an easier time finding what they want and branch out to other similar channels. Streamers can set their own category via the settings menu.

Allow an option to block streamers channels So they don't show up when you are looking under games for streams to watch.

Be able to sort directory (or new directory) by stream start time. So everyone gets visibility when they start a broadcast, regardless of channel size.

Advanced Search Implement a new search system with predefined and/or user defined tags like #lol #csgo #kappa #girlgamer #familyfriendly #twitch etc. It would be nice for a channel to have a handful of tags to identify itself.

Sort live broadcasts by session length! Having an option (even if it's not the default one) to sort the list of broadcasts in the game category list by session duration time allows smaller but more dedicated streamers to rank higher, leading to more traffic!
Completing a 12 or 24 hour marathon and staying at the bottom of the list can be really discouraging. Give these smaller streams a chance to get noticed!

Feature small, quality streamers On the frontpage, feature 1 small, quality streamer, next to the top streamers. Newcomers and hidden gems could be featured there to give them some more exposure. Obviously it has to be a quality stream so they could/should be picked by the twitch staff.
