add a "new streamer page" So That new streamers can get the publicity they deserve!
when i was a small streamer i found it hard to get followers. i had a good quality stream and a couple of friends who watched my stream. and i think that new streamers are pretty much abandoned, they should get the chance to get bigger instead of waiting months for just a couple of viewers to pop buy

Perhaps for the new streamer page, it would feature any streamers up until they hit a specific average viewership threshold, since you have streamers who have been streaming for years who are still at viewership you'd expect from someone who literally just started to stream, otherwise making it unfair for streamers who put in the time and are stuck at the bottom.

Dar a conocer a streamers pequeños para que todos puedan tener una oportunidad de dedicarle tiempo a la plataforma. Un tipo de ayuda sería que se mostraran dichos streamer en las sugerencias de twitch

Probably will never happen since big streamers don't want any 'competition'

It would be cool if on the twitch app there was a page where you could see new streamers and people with low follower counts and viewers.

I agree with this.

Getting into the game when just starting out is very difficult under the current twitch structure. Having more and smaller streamers in the "Recommended" section of the left panel would help.
Also rearranging the front page structure to group games by genre would not only make the website easier to browse it would break up the focus on very popular single games and streamers. This would also increase diversity of readily accessible games and streamers.
The current layout promotes concentration and stagnation that undermines all streamers on twitch.
I strongly suggest everyone interested in promoting new/small streamers send a vote to this topic:
https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/297558-general/suggestions/13057284-change-the-model-from-game-stream-to-genre-gam (not mine btw)
breaking up the monopoly on the front page would go a long way to make twitch a more robust and dynamic place.-Sy_Fox
P.S.: I do still think that those under the 50 follower limit should not be promoted though. This should be left as a basic "proving ground" for new streamers

New homepage sections will feature up-and-coming streamers - a dedicated space for smaller streamers. This was announced at TwitchCon and read the techcrunch article covering this: https://techcrunch.com/2018/10/26/twitch-sings/

More like, I want Twitch to feature a streamer who has streamed consistently for a long time with no spotlight that deserves one. You got a good point.

Yea this would be bad for streamers like myself. Im 2 years into streaming and 1 year into doing it on a daily basis but my channel hasnt grown. So to have a brand new channel being promoted over me would be pretty crummy ya know.

I don't think that promotion of smaller size streams is the issue, rather than HOW they are discovered. The other thread suggesting genres is a great idea that would Make it much easier to find a wider variety of streams both big and small.
You have to remember that there are 1.5 million active broadcasters on Twitch, and they can't all be promoted. I do think that a spot on the front page reserved for "Trending" or "rising" streamers would be a cool feature though!

Also it should be streamers with about 40 followers and up to avoid brand new streamers from getting it day one

I like this idea as I am a smaller streamer so far but also agree that this can cause view botting and other attacks. Hopefully this can be worked out because this is a great idea.

Oh Yeah I Didn't think about that it's a great point maybe they could allocate a twitch Admin to the page??

I think this is is a double edged sword really. Smaller streams are usually the (unfortunate) target of malicious behavior (like viewbotting, followbotting, malicious raids, etc.)
While this provides a great way to find new casters, I think it just bundles all the new casters into one location, allowing it to be prime access for those users that come in with malicious intent. It's unfortunate that you have to think that way when it comes to this, but it's definitely something that should be considered.
On the other hand, it would open new casters up to people who normally wouldn't scroll as far in the Game Directory, and it allows more publicity for the new casters to help them have an opportunity to grow.

As Devil's Advocate said it's not something that should just be dished out to brand new streamers while streamers who are not popular but have streamed a while get ignored. We had to work to get to were we are so why not you too? HOWEVER I think twitch should start a program where they can help newer / semi-experienced streamers in a feedback sort of way to help them know what to improve and give pointers. Not advertising you, not plastering your stream on the front page or anything like that just some good old 1 on 1 professional feedback.

Devil's Advocate I Agree However Small Good Quality Streams Deserve A Push To Keep Them Motivated (also im not that small anymore)

Why do you as a starting streamer deserve to get a boost past those streamers that have been streaming for a long while? If you have a good broadcast, you'll earn your audience over time. It's not going to be handed to you.
