Always have the collapse option on the channel select panel (left) on top Currently on the left panel of streams/following channels/recommended channels scrolling down makes the collapse button scrolls off screen. Keeping the button locked at the top would allow the user to collapse this panel without having to scroll the panel all the way back to the top.

category Why aren't favorite categories displayed?
For example: If you have marked software & development as a favorite, it will be replaced by other uninteresting categories, because Twitch thinks that they are more interesting due to the number of users. Why am I not shown my own choice in Categories, each time searching takes a long time...1 vote -

Broadcaster folders so we know how we discovered a broadcaster It would be great to have dedicated folders to see how we discovered a broadcaster. Let's say I click on someone's twitter link to twitch and I follow the person--it would be fantastic to hold that broadcaster's channel in the Twitter folder. How about Twitchcon? We could make custom folders to say how we met each other (since not all channel discoveries are digital, obviously).

Feature "Console Challenge" streamers on the front page Console challenges are relatively niche on Twitch but I think this comes from a lack of exposure and not from a lack of interest from the majority of Twitch viewers. There are many console challenge streamers dedicating years of their streaming careers to play entire video game console libraries on stream that use the "ConsoleChallenge" tag. I propose a slot on the front page that cycles through streamers that use this tag consistently.
Console challenge channels each have their own set of rules, their own creative approach to tracking stats and logistics related to their massive projects, and of course…

Variety of gaming genres of the front page Sometimes it gets frustrating that I get suggestions on the front page that are mostly games that I couldn't be exactly interested in. Lacks variety. It would be cool that everything on the front page is different but still interesting. FPS, Fighting Games, Music etc
It gets tiring seeing just FPS in everything on the front page.

Allow us to filter by streams with a webcam vs those without In my opinion, gameplay is so much more interesting to watch when the streamer has a webcam. Their reactions are what make me want to tune into their stream. Of course it's fine if people don't want to use a webcam, but I'd like to be able to filter by those that do.

Suggestions: 1: I would personally like to see bottom end streamers noticed more somehow, due to suggestion channels the low end streamers are not noticed until they hit a threshold of a dozen viewers or more when you have to hit the "More Tab" this really doesn't allow new and upcoming streamers to get noticed at all. #2: I'd like something done about Raids their is a growing amount of streamers on Twitch involved in daily "Raid Trains" you are spinning your wheels on the idea of streamers getting noticed more with this type of activity in my oppinion. Streamers are

Show Me Where Recommendations Comes From With the deprecation of Hosting ( https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/923383-creators-and-stream-features/suggestions/45659839-do-not-deprecate-hosts ) Raids become primary way to immediately share your viewer base with another channel, and Recommended Channels become the primary way to share your viewer base with another channel in the long term. In essence, when you aren't streaming, you add other channels to your Recommended Channels list, so that they will appear to your followers when you aren't streaming.
Part of what Hosting did, was that it provided a clear link between "A Streamer I already enjoy and follow" to "A New Streamer." The current Recommended Channels panel does not show this,…

following Would like to be able to view all Categories my account is Following.
Unable to view all Categories the account is Following. On the webpage, "https://www.twitch.tv/directory/following/games" the page only displays "Live categories" of the Categories(game titles) and does not display the game titles that are not live. To specify it is on the page with the primary heading, "Following" with the secondary sub-heading "Categories" highlighted and a tertiary sub-heading "Live categories". Would have attached a printscreen if the option was available
If there is a way or backdoor way to view all game titles the account is following…

New ways to see live channels When you see who's live from the people you follow there's only one list from top to bottom, consider having two lists side by side where you see the most viewed channel you follow and least viewed channel you follow.
You could consider adding a third column to see who's live other than just from the channels you follow.

Consider changing how you define a smaller community Browsing through the homepage today, the "Recommended smaller communities" section had six channels in it. None had less than 20 viewers and all had at least 3.5K followers. These are NOT small communities. I generally hang out in streams with 10-20 viewers at most and they generally have less than 1K followers. The streams in the section now may not be large, but, compared to the vast majority of channels on Twitch, they are HUGE. If the goal of this section is truly to promote small communities, you can do much better than this.

IRL Week Dedicate a week to IRL streamers that primarily focus on outdoor and social content. They are the street team that share Twitch with the public and work to promote the brand in a positive way. It is their every day interactions that teaches people about Twitch and creates public awareness. Give back to the people putting in the footwork!

Thailand Game Show Next time, should feature the streamers on the show floor promoting the event.
There was an underwhelming viewership on streamer channels and even the official /twitchth channel. It would make sense to display the streams that are going out of their way to promote Twitch, a sponsor of the event.

steam sale tags Feature directories that match up with top sellers and sale items from Steam. A lot of discoverability can be had from playing sale items as many buyers will want to see gameplay before purchase. Cross referencing the tags on top Steam titles and pushing those to the frontpage will increase browsing and discoverability to those playing such titles as well as allow another avenue for devs/pubs to advertise sales.

Add The Disney Afternoon Collection It would be awesome if you could add The Disney Afternoon Collection to categories. There's a robust IGDB page already, and it features some classic games. I've tried streaming it under the categories of the particular game I'm playing, but still end up getting muted and a DMCA notice from Capcom.

I would like to see the category of games that are no longer in service be reinstated. Overwatch 2 has started and the old Overwatch tags have disappeared from Twitch, so I can't search for past Overwatch clips in the clip manager.
