How to deal with chat trolls I am displeased with the trolls in the chat section of a popular streamer.
They are characterized by using ASCII art and a barrage of the same words, appearing on multiple lines.
Therefore, I would like the option to display only the first line of a multi-line statement.
This option would hopefully minimize the impact of the chat trolls.3 votes -

Ping all for mods I regularly notice that some people miss important moments of the stream and then ask what happened or make clips to watch the replay. Usually these people are sitting in a neighboring window or tab, or busy doing something else but interested in the stream.
It would be great to be able to call everyone to the screen at important moments of the stream that you want to see live.
To do this, I suggest giving moderators the ability to ping everyone in the chat with @all or the /heyall command, which would be the equivalent of you writing the…

Detailed Gift Sub Error when recipient is already subbed When a user tries to give a gift sub to a community member, and they get an error, it very vague. Especially in the case where the recipient is already subbed.
Please update the returned error text to be more clear.
"PotatoLover99 is already a sub to FancyStreamer22 - very nice thought though!"
Why? When gifting in chat, its obvious when someone is already subbed. But if you are trying to gift someone who perhaps made a great clip, or had requested a sub on a different platform (eg. Discord) - a vague error results in wasted time (eg trying…

Two step verification There is countries with digital id card, those can be used instead of phones, to administer the chatting two step verification and also maybe age monitoring for the viewing of each user. It is for the safety of youngsters that a Government talk needs to happen. I know in spain there is a chip in the id card and switzerland there is a seperate card for digital identification, so its not too far ahead. It can be brought to the attention of policy makers around the place that it is of high importance to bring certain atmosphere of wellbeing to…

Open/Close Chat window via keyboard Often while enjoying Twitch streams, I find myself wanting to easily open and close the chat to stay updated with the ongoing discussions. Since I predominantly use the keyboard over the mouse, it can be a bit inconvenient to switch to the mouse solely to manage the chat. I was wondering if it would be possible to incorporate a hotkey function that allows users to toggle the chat window. This would greatly enhance the viewing experience, providing a smoother way to engage with the chat without interrupting the stream. Perhaps something akin to the 'F' key for fullscreen mode could…

Member page customization Here's what I mean (In the sense of the main web page):
Once you sign in to your Twitch account
Your given the option to remove said banner from the top section of the main web page.
Depending on the game "Under the section of Categories" you either like or love it should reflect throughout the main page. (I. e. if you a Mario / Zelda / Street Fighter / Mortal Kombat / Halo Fan; those are the only games that should appear on the page; if there's more games you like or love it'll show as well.
Eliminate the…

Being able to remove said content once your signed in What I would like to see is having the option under the section known as "Featured Clips we think you'll like (which I don't), & from smaller communities: The option is to be able to select the ability to say "not interested" in said clip from either one; My reasons is that on every occasion I've seen from the thumbnail it's clips I have absolutely no interest in watching what so ever. Either because their clips from games, chats, speed runs / challenges on said game I have no interest in.

Under the Section of Catergories; only seeing the game your interested in What I would like to see please under the title I wrote which is "Under the section known as Categories".
I would like to see only the games I'm interested in when I'm signed in to my account. I feel that everyone who is already signed in should be able to go under this section and be able to only see the games their interest in, and also pick and choose which games they like (either do to playing it when young, and current).

Pinned Messages disappear. I think there should be a way to post these permanently unless removed by the streamer.

Channel Points list view There should be a way to switch the view of the channel point rewards. On channels with a lot of rewards it takes a lot of time to find the reward you are looking for.
An alternative list view would be great so you have a small reward icon on the left and the name of the reward next to it. The chat members should be able to switch between the current "button" look and the list view.Maybe make the window resizable so you don't have to fumble with the tiny little reward window.

Allow custom dollar amounts for Hype Chats in Twitch alerts Currently in Twitch's alert solution, you cannot enter alerts for a custom dollar amount. You can only set alerts for "Tiers". Allowing customizable alerts for Hype Chat could encourage more activity, such as custom $6.66 alerts and such for those streamers (such as myself) who get a lot of activity from customer 666 Cheer alerts.

Improving link blocks Lately I noticed how bad the current way to block links is, so I would like to present this alternative:
→ If link blocking is on, instead of showing "***", show "<Link Withheld>" and provide a prompt for the moderation (similar to automod's prompts) where the link is shown alongside the domain Notoriety level and the options "block" and "allow" and a checkbox for "never ask again for this domain".
→ If Allowed, the Notoriety of the domain is lowered and "<Link Withheld>" gets replaced by the link proper.
→ If blocked, the Notoriety of the domain is raised and…3 votes -
