When tagging someone on chat, the content of the message should determine the order of names listed. For example when the words "ban" "unban" or "moderator" are mentioned, more than likely the user is trying to reach out to the Moderators of the channel.
In a similar approach, we can also track users of the last X amount of messages sent because the user may also be likely to be replying to a comment. A Second Chatroom To Preserve A Stream's Community/Culture Sometimes smaller channels get a large influx of people to the point that the existing community is drowned out and can't talk to each other. A channel I've been a part of for a year has 4000 viewers more than normal, and chat's moving so quickly the regulars can't even talk to each other. What about an auxiliary chat people can move to if the streamer has added them there for being a longtime community member? Fix the constant disconnecting of chat. Getting a constant "Welcome to the chat room" message and not being able to interact with my chat as well as any other streamers is getting old. This issue has been around for 7 years at the least. It should be fixed by now

Option to not show the results before people vote A lot of the times viewers will manipulate the votes so the results are 50/50 just for fun making it very difficult to use the polling feature effectively.
It would be really helpful if there was an option to make it so viewers don't see the percentages and progress of individual responses of the poll until they choose their response.

Blocked terms When writing a blocked term, the user gets this message:
"Your message wasn't posted due to conflicts with the channel's moderation settings."When writing a long message, the user wouldn't be able to know which one of the words is blocked on the channel. And taking time to find out which word is blocked, and reformulating would be too complex.
The error message should print out the banned word(s) if the user entered one or more banned words, such as:

Add link whitelist The same way you can blacklist and whitelist terms in the chat, it would be useful to be able to whitelist links in the chat. Using a bot for this is not ideal because the links is deleted by the bot and still visible to users with extensions. Messages with links should not be sent at all and some links/domains should be whitelistable

Embedded Chat Iframe does not work in Chrome In chrome the embedded chat iframe simply displays 'failed to load module'.
It works perfectly in Edge and Firefox.
If I open the iframe src ('https://www.twitch.tv/embed/<channel>/chat) directly into a chrome tab - that works. It is only within the iframe that it fails to load.2 votes -
Changeable chat background colour. It would be nice to be able to change the background colour to something more customisable but also so streamers who have difficulty reading chat with only white or black background. It takes those people longer to read and react to chat.

Add The Ability To Add Nicknames To Followers There have been many times where a follower in chat has asked to be called a certain name, other than their Twitch username. If there is a way that the streamer can assign a nickname to a person in chat, that only the streamer can see, I think that would be helpful and a way to connect even better with regular viewers.

Separate regular Chat and Highlighted Message chat. So, my issue with Highlighted Messages is that almost all the time they get drowned out by the other messages anyways, especially with larger streamers. The whole point (To my understanding) of highlighted messages is to make them more visible to the streamer, which often doesn't happen for the reason I stated earlier.

O.o emoticon doesn't work in browser chat Hello, this is a very minor bug but it confused me for a bit.
I was trying to get all of twitch's global emotes using v5 api and emoteset 0, everything seemed fine but I've noticed that this emote [oO](|.)[oO] (regex of course- might want to mention it somewhere in docs) that should match either o.o or oo only shows the emote when typing o_o on browser chat for some reason. chat word/phrase replacement with the advent of the new mod tools i feel now is the right time to introduce word a replacement for chat. See Whispers in Chat In the past you would see whispers in chat. Then twitch just removed it because Twitch is Twitch and doesn't care. Instead of removing useful features, just give the streamers the option to enable or disable it. It was the most useful thing for me. Bring it back!
