Colorful username I have been lately really bored with current available colors of your username, so I came up with an idea to give viewers an option to set their username's color to a gradient one or a multicolor (e.g. rainbow etc.).
It could be available for Twitch Turbo members only as an additional options, or there would be an event/drop where casual Twitch users could get an access to set their name to a gradient one for a set amount of time. This could be for a day, a week, or a different length.

Bring back ability to resize the chat window in the twitch mobile app The recent mobile layout update makes it incredibly difficult to read the stream chat. Because the chat window is locked into a fixed size, I can only see one or two responses at a time before they scroll off the screen. This completely kills the interactive experience of watching a stream. We aren't allowed to scale the chat window or font layout manually anymore. Have to force refresh or restart browser to show as subscribed Have recently encountered where I will be watching twitch and suddenly none of the emotes are available. They all show as locked, as if I were not subscribed to the channel I am watching. No emotes from any other channels I should be subscribed to show as well. Frequently used emotes is also empty. Trying to use an emote that is locked prompts you to subscribe. Forcing the page to refresh sometimes causes them to come back, but can require closing the browser and reopening it.

Clicking Follow Button on Brave auto-unfollows after a moment. Using the latest Brave browser, clicking to follow a new channel, unfollows after a moment. So long as the cursor is over the button, it remains in the follow state, but if one goes to chat, it auto unfollows. Unsure as to why this new adverse behaviour has been added, as it has never been a problem before.

Replies don't highlight on mobile Chat replies was added to mobile some time ago. However, they don't highlight in any way for the person being replied to. @mentions do highlight as bold, and replies highlight on pc, but not on mobile. This makes it very easy to miss if someone replies to you're message, and forces you to read the small text above every message to figure out if it's a reply to you or someone else. It would be great if replies made to you were somehow visually distinguished from replies made to other people, in the mobile app.

chat not working unless with specific roles? just curious if anyone else is having issues with chatting recently... even when being a turbo subscriber and a twitch channel subscriber I can't chat on pretty much all channels right now unless I am either a VIP, a mod or the streamer... (aka. a special role) which is kinda weird... anyone else had this issue recently?
as twitch claims that there are no shadow / invisible bans but it still feels like one tho

Disable "save streak" notification for users that you have blocked when blocking a user you have previously watched before blocking, you still receive a prompt to "save your streak" on the For You tab. I think it is safe to assume that when a user blocks someone they do not wish to view their content either.
Some users might be tempted to not use twitch desktop at all until the 24 hour period is over just to not see the profile picture of the blocked user.

Add a cake emote for use with birthdays How does twitch not currently have a birthday cake emote?
This shouldn't be something streamers have to individually add to their channels. Everyone has a birthday and it's an event that can be celebrated in chat.
What a disappointment to find it isn't in there yet. This can be fixed forever in less than 10 minutes.

Limited & Rotating Chat Access for Non-Subscribers I’d like to suggest a new chat feature for livestreams that could potentially increase both viewer retention and engagement.
The idea would be to expand the current subscriber-only chat system by allowing streamers to grant chat access to two additional groups:

Allow Users to Hide Their Presence from Other Viewers in the Chatters List I would like to suggest a privacy improvement to Twitch's "Users in Chat" list.
Currently, other viewers can see the usernames of people connected to a stream's chat, even if those people have never sent a message.
I believe that simply watching a stream should not automatically make someone's presence visible to other viewers.
My suggestion is:
- Streamers and moderators should continue to have access to the full list for moderation and community management.
- Regular viewers should only be able to see users who have explicitly chosen to make their presence visible.

Let us hide/organize specific creator emotes in the selector Right now, the emote menu gets super bloated if you've subscribed to or interacted with a bunch of different channels over time. It would be awesome if we had a way to manually hide or toggle off emotes from specific creators—especially channels you don't watch anymore, no longer stream, or aren't on good terms with. It takes way too long to hunt through a cluttered picker to find the emotes you actually want to use.

As an active viewer and streamer, I love how vibrant the Twitch chat community is. However, when chatting in Arabic or using stylized and decorated text (such as names generated from https://zakhrafaatasmaa.com/ , the text alignment sometimes breaks or reverses due to lack of native Right-to-Left (RTL) handling in certain chat box views.
It would be amazing if Twitch could improve native RTL text rendering and Unicode compatibility for chat messages and username displays. This would make the chat experience much smoother for Arabic-speaking communities worldwide.

Mention Shield A great feature for Twitch is "Mention Shield," which lets you choose who can tag your username in chat by selecting whether everyone, only followers, only mods and the streamer, an approved list of specific users you manually allow, or no one can mention you. fix chat Chat is buggy af. Chat has been terrible since the new update. Animated emotes don’t animate. Big chunks of chat messages show up as blank white space. CaN’t write text and emotes in the same message. Have to constantly refresh to get it at least somewhat normal, but really, chat has been absolutely awful.
