Enhancing Twitch Chat Engagement for Better Community Interaction Hey everyone, I’ve been exploring ways to improve the Twitch chat experience and wanted to share some thoughts.
Between the first two lines: https://pearllemonconsulting.com/guide-to-global-strategic-planning/As chat environments grow, maintaining meaningful interaction becomes a real challenge.
When messages fly by in a blur, viewers can feel disconnected or ignored.
Streamers struggle to identify which chats to engage with most.
That fast-paced flow diminishes both community cohesion and engagement levels.
We need solutions that preserve real-time dialogue without sacrificing readability.
Imagine chat auto-segmenting into micro‑groups when volume spikes.
Each group could have its own thread, enabling deeper conversation among like‑minded viewers.

Navigating Life Goals Without Losing Sight of Financial Discipline When on a journey to become debt-free, it’s natural to think about what comes next, perhaps a new chapter involving relocation or investment. Ideas like moving abroad or exploring housing options often come up, especially when looking at links such as https://pearllemonproperties.co.uk/top-property-sourcing-companies-london/. While these ideas can be exciting, they also pose serious questions about timing and financial readiness.
Should we pursue such opportunities while still working through the Baby Steps? Or do we wait until our emergency fund is in place and we’re building wealth with purpose?
There’s nothing wrong with exploring your options, but clarity is key. Will…

allow users to curate their favourite emotes The emote selection dialogue in chat is frustrating.
Please enable users to remove channels they no longer subscribe to and replace the "most used" section and replace it with pinned "favourites" - so users can curate their own easily accessible emotes.
I have emotes in my favourites list that I haven't used for a year. I have channels in my emotes list that relate to expired gifted subs that waste UI real estate and frustrate me every single time I see them.

The ability for the viewers to react to each others chat-messages with emojis! If someone writes something react-worthy, but not necessarily requiring a written response, there should be a way to acknowledge the message by simple emojis: laugh, cry, angry, embarassed etc by just hovering the pointer over the message and clicking the appropriate emoji.
I dont need no cred for this, just do ur thing devs

disabling user badges and other icons in chat for screenreader users Hello Twitch team,
I am a blind streamer and I am using a ScreenReader to read the twitch chat. Unfortunately, my Screenreader is having some difficulties reading the chat due to all the extra information attached to the chatting users. For example their badges, medals, avatars and such. As a screenreader user, it would be very useful if there could be a setting for chat to disable all those extras in chat. In that way, reading the chat would be much easier for a blind person. Thank you for your consideration!
p.s.
To clarify, I am talking about a setting…

Remove Phone Verification From Chat Whenever I would raid channels; the Streamer would say hello to me and ask questions. I can often never answer back because phone verification is turned on. There is no way in the streamers chat for me to let me know that I can't talk to them. I try to whisper them to tell them this but whispers also require phone verification and there is no way to turn that off. You can disable phone verification in a stream but you can't turn it off in Whispers. Phone verification needs to be removed from Whispers.

Enhancing Community Conversations with Clear Guidelines In any vibrant online platform, understanding user rights and responsibilities plays a crucial role in fostering respectful and meaningful interactions. Recently, discussions around property rights, such as those detailed in https://pearllemonproperties.com/find-out-grandfather-rights-on-property/, have highlighted how clarity in rules benefits community trust. Stream chats thrive when participants feel informed and protected, ensuring conversations remain engaging and constructive. Establishing transparent policies that reflect both platform standards and users’ real-world concerns can significantly improve the quality of exchanges. This approach helps prevent misunderstandings and supports a safer space for all voices. Integrating feedback loops where users can suggest improvements reinforces community ownership. Ultimately,…

Shared Chat: Allow sending message to own channel only During shared chat sessions, allow chat bots (connected via IRC or EventSub + Helix Send Chat Message, both streamer account and bot account) to send a message to only the streamer's channel. With multiple users in shared chat, it easily gets flooded by the multiple chatbots.

Improve Clip Timing Precision Please improve the precision of clip start and end times by making the timeline zoomable down to the frame level. This would enable much more accurate edits.

Add a Dedicated Health & Wellness Category on Twitch As health and wellness topics continue to grow in popularity on Twitch, the platform would benefit significantly from a dedicated "Health & Wellness" category. This addition would provide a central hub for streams focused on mental health, fitness, nutrition, medical education, and overall well-being, making it easier for viewers to find and engage with content that aligns with their interests and needs.
Currently, health-focused streams are scattered across various categories, which limits visibility and discoverability. A dedicated category would allow creators specializing in health and wellness to reach their target audience more effectively, fostering growth within this increasingly relevant niche.

Please do not arbitrarily demand phone numbers from people with verified email addresses I posted this elsewhere on the forum because I got here by following a link from someone sharing their own experience with the same problem, but I figure that this is a great place to post about this problem too.
Why, after ten years of chatting on Twitch with a verified email address, is Twitch blocking me from every single Twitch chat unless I give my phone number? I've been on great behavior for my entire time on Twitch, so why did Twitch impose this on my account a few months ago? Twitch has not given any reason, and I…

OPTIONAL sound bits Please please PLEASE make sound effects/sound bits/ sound commands an optional setting to turn on and off. I have auditory issues, and I get chased out of so many streams because the community loves to activate and spam sounds.

Highlighted Gifted Chatter Similar to the Giant Emote, Super Chat, and On-Screen Celebration style, this would allow a Gifted Chatter to have their name displayed in a celebratory style or a highlighted manner. This essentially allows for gifted members of your community to be displayed in a sort of pinnacle style for x amount of time. I can provide sample code to give an idea of how it would work.
