From seating arrangements to background music, the details add up to create an experience that guests carry with them. Allow Merging Chat in Simulcasting As of today's announcement as TwitchCon Las Vegas 2023, Twitch has changed it's simulcast policy.
It states: ..."do not use third-party services that combine activity from other platforms or services on your Twitch stream during your Simulcast, such as merging chat or other features"...
In other words, embedding YouTube or TikTok chat into the live stream is not allowed.
I think this will hurt the industry, as other platforms may follow these rules as well, making it less likely to embed chats in live streams.
As third-party developer i see that embedding Chat in live streams is a core feature…

Have a Chat Overlay appear on the TV when Streaming from the Console to TV. if there's a way to get this on now then by all means tell me how but as a gamer with Parkinson's I would find it much more beneficial if the chat could appear on the TV screen instead of me having to have it on my laptop or phone next to me looking at two different screens.

Shared Chat Channel Visibility The current channel icons for shared chat are helpful, but as a streamer I still find it really easy to miss viewer's commenting on a specific stream. Maybe the chat messages could have a different color tint depending on the channel or something like a message highlight for the channel the user is in. I just want it to be easier to see when someone chats in the channel I'm active in.

Add "Do not show this pop up anymore" on automated Twitch messages Twitch posts various automated messages for users in chat such as "celebrate your subscription". There's a new one I keep seeing asking me to make a clip for the channel I'm watching. I do not ever want to see that message and cannot find a way to disable Twitch from sending it every half hour or so. Adding an option to disable it in the "three dots" button for the messages would be helpful.

A Twitch app The Twitch mobile app could have a "Read Chat" button directly in the app. It would read new messages as they happen. Perhaps it would even let you adjust your voice and chat pace. Using the "Voice Reader," "Speechify," or "Narrator Voice" features would be effortless and would also help young creators create content like irl content. 🔥

Make emote hover text non-selectable When a user on browser hovers over a emote in Twitch chat, it brings up a small text overlay with the text name of the emote. This overlay allows users to select the text within it, which makes it very difficult to highlight and copy chat message (example: raid messages to copy/paste into the next stream).
Can the CSS be adjusted so that these little overlays with text can't be selected with the cursor? Should be an easy fix with a few lines of CSS. Thanks!

The Feedback Loop What Community Votes Teach Us About Strategy Every active online community has a rhythm, an ebb and flow of ideas, complaints, and breakthroughs.
Browsing through Twitch’s user feedback forum, you begin to sense patterns in user behavior.
Those patterns mirror what smart advertisers notice when managing a https://pearllemon.com/ppc/ campaign, where attention goes, change often follows.
Some suggestions float quietly, while others explode with support, demanding action.
It’s not unlike the way certain ads strike a chord and others miss entirely.
Either way, the response helps shape what comes next. There’s something compelling about watching a simple idea gain traction.

probability Comment for Twitch UserVoice (Formatted Naturally):
This feels like one of those UI glitches that are hard to consistently replicate — almost like a probability issue where the outcome isn’t always predictable. On a related note, I’ve been exploring randomness and decision-making in user behavior, and built a small experiment around that using <a href="https://coinflips.com.au" target="_blank" rel="noopener">coin-flips</a>. Might be useful for understanding how chat reactions can be tested or simulated under uncertain triggers.2 votes -
When Mental Health Enters the Chat Understanding Our Kids’ Inner Worlds In the digital age, where screens and streams dominate daily routines, it’s crucial to spot signs when something feels off. Emotional and behavioral shifts in kids can be subtle, especially in online-first generations. Resources like https://helpandhealingcenter.com/overview-of-psychological-testing-for-your-child/ pediatric psychological evaluation can make all the difference for concerned parents. The goal isn't diagnosis for diagnosis's sake, it's understanding. And understanding starts when we stop brushing past the quiet cues. That applies offline and on-screen alike.
Mental health, especially in kids, is layered and nuanced. It's easy to dismiss a bad day or emotional outburst as “just a phase,” but consistent patterns, withdrawal,…

Can Channel Bots Be Smarter with Resource Allocation? Ever feel like your channel bot is just going through the motions?
It posts on timers, replies to basic commands, and that’s about it.But what if it could analyze chat energy and know the best time to act?
Like promoting a stream goal right when engagement spikes.
Or temporarily muting non-essential replies during high-intensity gameplay.
Imagine a bot that invests its actions based on what’s actually happening live.
One that learns from your community and optimizes how it responds.
Instead of being a simple tool, it becomes a smart teammate.Do we need a new standard for bots that…
