1. Chat replay in twitch clips is very out of sync from the original broadcast.

   When viewing a clip, the chat is very out of sync from what you would see live or in the VOD. The chat appears to start with messages that were sent at the end of the clip instead of the beginning - as if it is referencing the wrong time offset.

   This is also noticeable when clicking the 'Watch Full Video' button below a clip. This will open up the VOD to the end of the clip instead of the beginning as it used to.

   This appears to affect all created clips within the last few months - possibly since when the clip creator was overhauled.

   For longer clips, it is significant enough that the de-synced chat can be entirely unrelated to the content of the clip.

4. Remove ‘Chat is active, clip for the streamer’ feature

   This is an awful feature that ruins the immersion for viewers and chatters and in part the Streamers as we have to hear chat complain about this pop up multiple times every stream.

   In creating an engaging entertaining environment getting chat going is part of the job, but just because chat is moving doesn’t mean that it’s worth clipping.

   My community and a lot of others KNOW when they would want to clip something, and this ‘feature’ is just driving people away with how constant the spam is.

   I don’t know how they thought this was a good idea, but it’s so incredible out of touch.

   Please discontinue this feature, or at least give us the option to disable it, we’re trying to make content, we don’t need Twitch coming in trying to ‘help’. It’s not helping.

   If anyone upvotes this. Please share your thoughts or experience below if you have something else to add I may have missed or how this feature is also affecting your channel.

   Ein integrierter Notfall-Button könnte in solchen Situationen Leben retten, indem er die richtige Reaktion erleichtert und beschleunigt.

   Integration von Erste-Hilfe-Hinweisen

8. chat live translation

   As a Minecraft streamer, the Minecraft community recently with servers like QSMP bridging different speaking language communities with live translation, there are a lot of different communities crossing paths for the first time! The only issue is, many streamers (including myself) only speak 1 language, and the mods also speak one language, so any messages of other languages get deleted, as the streamer can't read them and the mods can't moderate them, so it would be AWESOME to be able to be able to see a live translation in chat! This could work by each individual person setting their preferential language, and any chats could be translated automatically (using a language detection system) to the preferred language, connecting so many different communities! this is done on sites such as twitter with the translation button and ive seen it done on twitch itself with translating names with characters such as Japanese characters and would be INCREDIBLE to see this happen with live translation with chat messages too!

12. Non restrictive follow and sub only chat

    So currently follow only or subscriber only chat dissuades users from chatting if they don't follow or subscribe and this way my idea would allow them to chat even with the follow only or subscriber only chat but in this mode only the moderator and the streamer can see them until they either follow or subscribe then all chat can see them this would help new viewers coming into new channels so they can talk to the streamer and get to know them first before they decide to follow if they're not right they can just leave if they are right they can follow and then they can talk to the rest of the chat but also it help people with ill intent people that might be able to think they can't chat but they can but a streamer or mod can ban them if they have ill intent but the biggest thing it will help is that it would help new viewers feel comfortable chatting even though it's only the moderator or the streamer will be able to see it until they follow and they gave them enough chance to decide if they want to follow or not plus they would keep the channel secure and not let bad actors I'm ruined the channel's chat even though they can chat but no one would see them outside the moderator and streamer

13. Android App - Annoying Clips Leaderboard Popup/Overlay

    When opening the App and joining a live Streamer I get the Stream above and below the chat.
    After loading inital layout the App switches to the Clips Leaderboard overlay. Every. Single. Time.
    With two glaring issues:
    1. The "Make a Clip" Button is on same position as Chat input field. So when you loaded Chat, get the connected messgaae and just want to Say Hi the timing is motly so you want to tap the input field and in that moment the overlay comes on and you hit "Make a clip" ...
    2. You then want to close the overlay you have to hit the v on the top left. Only that is the moment the "Paid Advertisements" underline to the stream poping in. So you hit the "Learn more" and open the browser.

    In total it is ok wanting to boost engagement by promoting making clips, but getting booted from the stream twice every time you open a stream is annoying as ****

    Currently when a moderator performs the /announce [message] command, this message does not appear in the chat log for that user.

    Whilst the announcement is normally a momentary message in stream, I believe it is worth keeping the messages sent in the users card so their logs remain up to date without missing context.

    i would like time out to be extended from 14 days to 30 days maximum

    and have it only lock the chat box you can still watch chat and the streamer

    and you can still collect channel points

    Twitch needs to remember that there are other languages than english. Some words that are permanently banned on Twitch can mean something else in another language. There should be different ban-lists for words if the streamer has set another language in the stramer tags.

19. Active chat consider a Clip Prompt Feature Redo

    The new feature based on chat activity to "consider a clip" needs some major overhauls as it is very buggy & is turned on for channels where clips aren't even available.

    Some general notes
    - Streamers need to have the option to turn it off in their dashboard
    - There should be more controls to set who in chat sees it and what threshold of activity counts for a "hypeable" moment vs normal chat activity

    BUGS (as I can think of them)
    - It prompts viewers in DJ channels. (DJ's aren't allowed to have clips.)
    - It prompts in streams where users have disabled clips or restrict who can create them.
    - It prompts on offline channels doing chat tests
    - It super prompts during Raids, Shared Chat stream together sessions ect

    As a more general note; how did this feature pass an "experiment" phase when it seems most streamers & their chats have negative feedback reactions on its launch?

20. Allow Users to React to Chat Messages with Emojis and Emotes

    I’d like to suggest adding the ability to react directly to individual chat messages with emojis or channel emotes.

    Right now, the only way to show a quick response is by sending a full message, which can interrupt the flow of conversation and create unnecessary clutter — especially when multiple people want to express the same simple reaction. On platforms where message reactions are standard, they’re an important part of user interaction, and they offer a lightweight, non-disruptive way to acknowledge messages.

    Allowing reactions to be attached directly to chat messages would encourage more engagement while keeping the chat cleaner. It would also give channel-specific emotes more opportunities to be used in meaningful ways, since people could express themselves without needing to type anything.

    A related enhancement could be to momentarily surface messages that receive a surge of reactions — for example, keeping them visible near the top of the chat for a few seconds. This would naturally highlight moments the community is enjoying or rallying around without requiring manual intervention.

    Overall, this feature would streamline interaction, reduce spam, and introduce a familiar and engaging communication tool that many users already appreciate in other communities.
