Enable/disable blocked Words based on category There should be a way to blacklist/whitelist words only in certain categories.
Example: A streamer is on an IRL stream. To prevent their location from leaking, city-names or even coordinates (latitude and longitude) for entire regions are added so they don't end up in the chat.
But the city-names are totaly fine in normal Just Chatting.
And of course, "09.08" is also the format for the date and not just lat/long.To avoid having to delete the entire blacklist after each IRL stream and then refill it the next time, category-specific filtering would be desirable.

Shared Ban detection between channels you mod For those of us who mod in multiple channels, it would be handy if the Shared Ban feature could work (as an opt-in possibly) within the scope of the channels we mod as well. Currently, the streamers have to request and accept to share ban info between channels. Someone might be banned from one stream for a reason that wouldn't necessarily warrant an immediate cross ban in other channels, but it would be good to have an automatic detection similar to the ban evasion detection, but that shows only for you when that banned user shows up in another channel…

Add language in TOS/Guidelines to restrict saying Subs/Bits funds will go to Charity This ticket can be under Charity, Legal and Moderation categories
There has been TOO many incidents where creators have said that funds from Sus and Bits will go to charity, their moderation teams, etc.
Twitch needs CLEAR guideline updates to discourage this behavior as its gray area scamming their communities in the fact that end users buy bits, or gift subs and Twitch takes a cut of those funds, and the charities the creators say they are supporting NEVER see those funds.
Any mention of Charity if on stream, in chat, in shared chat, in social media posts or other…

AI I've been for the first time on a channel where I discovered days later that the supposed moderator was an AI (it had a real name, and was talking like a human).
I've legal problems with that because I was never aware anyware that my text in the chat was read and used by an AI. I never agreed to that.
AI mods should have an "AI logo" or there should be a text somewere saying "this moderator is an AI, by talking in the chat you agree to have your text used" or something like that.

Disability factored into appeal requests? Has Twitch staff taken into consideration disability in users appeal reaquests? Because if Twitch staff isn't, I'm pretty certain that's an American's w Disabilities Act Title III Public Accomodations violation concerning website accessibility, under physcial and or mental impairment!! Like a user such as myself suffering a migraine attack when FandyBTW just decided to make a public example out of me to her subscribers on live stream this past Saturday, 7/12/25. I don't appreciate being called, 'giga weird,' as the reason for me getting banned on Fandy's chat. Because if Fandy is going to hold me accountable to the same…

Manual Chatter Verification In rare but real cases, users may be unable to successfully verify their accounts using a phone number.
This has been happening to members of a community I am moderating where a group of known users transferred phone numbers from their old Twitch accounts. This is causing them to be unable to chat, even with the "First time chatter must have a verified phone number." option toggled to off.Current State:
If user Kappa has transferred their phone number from an inactive account Keepo, they may encounter issues with phone verification on channels with even loose phone verification settings. I…3 votes -
Allow chat to restrict problem users when the streamer or moderators are busy There are many moments when streamers are too busy to look at chat or step away from the screen. Many streamers don't always have mods present or their mods aren't always able to read chat. In the moments where the viewers are aware of a problem user, but the streamers and mods are busy, maybe there's potential for trusted users or VIPs to restrict users through reporting until the streamer/mods can take a look. Maybe if something like ten VIPs or ten streamer designated trusted chatters report someone in chat, then they're automatically removed to a restricted user in the…

Suspicious/Restricted User Info Accesibility I am a mod for several streamers that have shared ban lists with their friends. Currently, when a chatter who is banned in another channel chats, their name is just highlighted yellow as restricted. The problem is that, unless a mod was in mod view right when the message was sent, they have no way of unrestricting said user. If they open mod view after the message was sent, the restricted user queue is empty. So, I would like to see an option to unrestrict chatters on their usercards or right next to their names in chat.

Ban people you agree with. It would be pretty cool if Twitch would stop having such an obvious bias against people the twitch staff don't like and doing nothing when the people who they do like blatantly break twitch TOS. Imagine if you would ban people equally. For example in your TOS it says "Violence and Threats
Acts and threats of violence are counterproductive to promoting a safe, inclusive, and friendly community. Violence on Twitch is taken seriously and is considered a zero-tolerance violation, and all accounts associated with such activities on Twitch will be indefinitely suspended. For example, you may not show or promote…

Option to Make viewer numbers hidden to the viewer As a creator I’m curious does twitch have any plans to combat the serious issue of botting on the platform? Taking money from advertisers seems problematic with the rise of bots. The question is will advertisers eventually start to leave because of more common knowledge of artificial audiences?
If you guys solved that, I believe you wouldn’t have so many people going to multi streaming. that’s increasing because creators are starting to flee to other platforms since they don’t see any value in working ******* content when people can cheat their way to the top of categories and get seen…

Suggestion Regarding Moderator Message Deletion Functionality Dear Twitch Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement to the current moderation tools available in Twitch chat.
At present, moderators are unable to delete their own messages, and removing other users' messages can be unnecessarily complicated, especially during fast-paced streams where quick action is critical.
🔹 Proposed changes:
Allow moderators to delete their own messages – this would help correct mistakes or remove unintended content quickly. Simplify the process for deleting messages from other users – for example, by adding a more accessible button or a hotkey within mod view.Improving these tools would greatly enhance the efficiency…

shield mode by channels It would be good to allow a custom shield mode per channel where mods and streamers can modify it and so each channel has a custom shield mode because currently it is only per mod so if another mod has another configuration it is not very effective.

Mejora modo escudo por canal seria bueno permitir un modo escudo personalizado por canal, en donde los mods y el streamer puedan modificarlo y así cuando hay emergencias solo se activa con la configuración del canal

Disable or only allow the Broadcaster to use the /shoutout command It would be nice to have the ability to disable or only allow the broadcaster to use the /shoutout command. By default, the command should be enabled. This gives the broadcaster the option to disable it and use their shoutout options. And prevents moderators from using the shouting command, should the broadcaster not want them to use it, and only allows the broadcaster to use it.

confirmaton/warning before banning someone you follow i typed "/b(tab)" instead of "/v(tab)", this meant an accidental ban instead of vip, and caused me to be silently unfollowed, when it shouldve either given the unfollow confirmation message like when the button is clicked normally, or give a link to let you unfollow if you happen to be following
in all cases, unfollowing shouldnt occur automatically or silently

add marker colors As a small creator the ability to put a marker down on stream has been really, really useful for making content after the stream is done in the highlighters.
But I was wondering if it could be added to put markers in different colours, that way I can better organise them between timestamps for ad-breaks, funny moments, and compilation moments. Even something simple like "/marker blue" or "/marker red" could help a lot to help get a quick sense of each mark in the timeline.

Sexual Harassment AutoMod Filter Not Saving The Sexual Harassment filter for AutoMod is not saving when turning Shield Mode on and back off. I (a channel moderator) has tried changing it, and the streamer also tried to change it, but it reverted back to its original settings, but only for that option. All other filtering options in AutoMod will save and change except for sexual harassment. And yes, we are clicking the "save" button at the bottom before refreshing the page and turning Shield Mode on and back off again to test if it has worked.

Option to Disable Moderator Role (Anti-Mod Feature) I would like to suggest a feature on Twitch that allows users to opt out of being made a moderator on any channel – something like:
“I do not want to be a moderator” or “Automatically decline moderator role.”Right now, any channel owner can make any user a moderator, even if that person has blocked the channel owner or doesn’t engage with the channel at all. This can lead to abuse, trolling, or harassment, and gives users no control over their own role on the platform.
Please consider adding this functionality – it would make Twitch safer and more…

detect obfuscated urls Many bots/malicious users use spaces to get around url filters eg "example .com". It should be possible to have automod detect these terms and automatically delete/hold them, as they are almost always malicious or an attempt to evade hyperlink blocking.
