As a creator I’m curious does twitch have any plans to combat the serious issue of botting on the platform? Taking money from advertisers seems problematic with the rise of bots. The question is will advertisers eventually start to leave because of more common knowledge of artificial audiences?

If you guys solved that, I believe you wouldn’t have so many people going to multi streaming. that’s increasing because creators are starting to flee to other platforms since they don’t see any value in working ******* content when people can cheat their way to the top of categories and get seen above those creators putting in REAL effort 24/7

At the very least I think hiding numbers for the viewer / making it an option (as it means next to nothing at this point and created this atmosphere where people feel the need to keep adding bots for competition)

countless celebs and others admit to using bots, which leads people to believe it’s acceptable, and if it is twitch needs to make it clear that it’s okay to do for EVERYONE
