1. Monitor Suspicious User Feature visibility

   Hey there, in our chat earlier today we had to time someone out for 10 mins. One of our mods marked them as Suspicious User so that it'd be clear when they're back from time-out and to give that a bit more attention from the mods in chat.
   However can it be an option for the streamer to have the giant visual orange highlight be turned off? It happens sometimes where the streamer is actively trying to avoid them still after a time-out and it's better to be used as a mods-only highlight. With maybe a small icon or something more subtle to the streamer. It bothered us all a bit how overly vibrant the indication is on this.

   Or if anyone has any tips or other ways to go about this kind of situation I'm all ears!

2. Banned in a chat = can't add that streamer to your suggestion shelf

   Please make it so that if a streamer bans somebody, that person is not be able to have the streamer in their "Streamer suggests these streamers..." shelf.

   Example:

   Streamer A and Streamer B are friends.
   Things happen and they are no longer friends to the point that Streamer A bans Streamer B in their communities.
   Streamer A is no longer associated with Streamer B, but Streamer B still has Streamer A listed on their "suggested streamers" shelf despite being banned in Streamer A's community.

   I think that not being possible would be nice.

4. Scrolling Announcement Banner

   Hey everyone! I think it would be super helpful if we had a scrolling announcements banner, kind of like the ticker you see in sports games.

   There have been plenty of times where I’ve needed to pin multiple messages or we’ve had several announcements going out during stream — but since you can only pin one at a time, you have to choose which one feels most important. A scrolling banner would fix that by letting multiple updates cycle through at once, so viewers and mods can easily stay informed without cluttering chat. It’d make everything feel more organized and professional, especially during busy events.

5. Detailed description of bans

   The channel so0olnce was permanently banned for alleged copyright infringement, but no DMCA notice was ever provided, and the appeal was denied within an hour with no explanation.
   We contacted STS Media, the only possible rights holder related to that stream, and they confirmed that no copyright claim was submitted.
   If the suspension is related to other copyrighted material, please provide specific details — who filed the claim and which content it refers to.
   If this was a mistake, please review the case and restore the channel.

6. Improving Twitch Moderation: A Proposal for Verifying Ban Requests to Ensure Fairness

   I have unfortunately been unfairly banned from several Twitch channels despite always being polite, friendly, and inclusive to the streamer and everyone in the chat. When I start watching a new streamer, I always mention in my intro comment that I’m a sensitive person and hope they won’t mind me asking questions or discussing things that might feel rude or targeted from my perspective. I ask for understanding, but this is rarely acknowledged by the streamer or their mods.

   Despite this, many bans seem to happen because the streamer or mods don’t like me or misunderstand my intentions. I have never been rude, but sometimes my questions or comments are taken the wrong way. This feels unfair and frustrating since I try to avoid conflict. Being able to discuss and ask questions would help me feel better and clear up misunderstandings, but instead I often get timed out, pressured to move on, or even banned. This is not how these situations should be handled. Of course, people who are rude, spam, or behave disruptively deserve timeouts and bans.

   To help prevent unfair bans, I would like to suggest changing how bans are enforced. Instead of allowing streamers and mods to immediately ban someone, they could request a ban. Twitch staff could then review the relevant VOD behind the scenes to confirm if the ban is justified.

   If the review shows the ban was due to a misunderstanding or personal dislike rather than a rules violation, the ban would be reversed. This would promote fairness and reduce toxic or unfair treatment of respectful viewers. I believe such a verification system would also support streamers by ensuring moderation is accurate and unbiased, creating a better experience for everyone.

7. chat extensions

   extensions that allow custom chat messages for bots/users and allows the streamers,mods and users to gate this with permissions as well as to customize the chat it also would be cool to theme and/or intergrade this into mod view they would be like normal twitch extensions but can be both global(set by streamer) and local(set by user/mod)

8. Ability to anonymously unmod yourself

   There is currently no way to remove yourself from a channel without it notifying the streamer. Not by your own means, or even through twitch support, can you be removed as a moderator from a channel.

   I've got individuals who I've cut contact with who have chosen to still keep me as a moderator which I was unaware of until I was checking the channels I moderate. If I were to open contact with them or signify my presence to them in any way, it would open up further harassment from them that I do not wish to invite.

10. Share report and action on reports with streamer

    This proposal is around the REPORT feature of twitch not bans. When a moderator reports a suspicious user—or an obvious alternate account of a previously banned user—the streamer is not notified. This lack of communication can create gaps in awareness between the streamer and their mods.

    Current Behavior:
    At present, if Twitch takes action on such reports, only the moderator who submitted the report receives an email. This email is vague and only states that "some action was taken," without specifying the username of the reported account. The streamer and other moderators are left uninformed.

    Proposed Solution:

    1. Streamer Notification:

    When a mod reports a suspicious/alt account, Twitch should notify the streamer as well.

    Notifications could be delivered through push notifications in Mod View or via email.

    1. Detailed Action Emails:

    When Twitch takes action on a report, the response email should include the username of the account involved.

    A copy of this email should be sent to the streamer and all active moderators, not just the reporting moderator.

    Benefits:

    Ensures transparency between streamers and their moderation team.

    Builds trust, as streamers will not feel that moderators are misusing their powers.

    Keeps both streamers and moderators informed and aligned when dealing with suspicious accounts.

11. Add a custom duration field for Prediction Submission time

    As it stands, the dropdown for the Prediction submission time is pretty restrictive; there's an erroneous gap between the shorter 2 and 5 minute options, the longer 20 and 30 minute options, and of course the highest limit of 30 minutes in itself.

    While the dropdown is simpler to use in brief, having a custom field provides more flexibility for predictions, like a window being open for 2:30, 3:00, 12 minutes, 40 minutes, or a complete hour of submission time. Some repeatable prediction opportunities can have very predictable (no pun intended) potential submission windows and pay out times.

    Here's a couple examples;

    One I'm personally familiar with, before a streamer's scheduled time to go live, a prediction for guessing when they might start. Any time before then, the submission window can easily be an hour or more if the streamer is never early, thus making the highest 30 minute option restrictive.

    Or Speedrunning, where Split One is almost exactly say, 3 minutes and 43 seconds long. You can have a prediction running for what happens in Split Two for exactly as long as Split 1 takes, a 3 minute and 43 second submission window.

12. Option to prioritize live channels I am a mod on to the top of followlist.

13. Delete message when looking in message log or better mod Icons

    So a small thing but would be nice the Mod tool Icons there very close together, and with shaky hands or super sensitive mice it's easy to accidentally ban a person when just trying to delete a message, or sometimes chat is going too fast and it can be hard to find a message really fast, so what if you added a delete message button to the message log.

    it would help reduce time to delete a bad message, as well as massively help prevent frustration and accidentally pressing the wrong button especially with shaky hands, twitching, or sensitive mice as a nice accessibility function.

    Allow moderators to create polls in channels they moderate (assuming the channel is already affiliate/partner, which it is). It's so obnoxious that, as a moderator, I cannot create a poll for the streamers I moderate for; they're busy, they ask their mods to make a poll...I can make a prediction, but not a poll! It's insane! This should be so easy to do within mod-view GUI, it should be so well-integrated for such a basic feature, and it's not at all. This should not require a third-party bot or extra-special permissions beyond being a moderator, streamers EXPECT MODERATORS TO BE ABLE TO CREATE, CONTROL, AND CLOSE POLLS FOR THEM.

    (even if this does not get changed, the incredibly poor documentation about this basic functionality boggles my mind. I spent a solid half hour searching for clarity on whether or not moderators could make twitch polls, and how, and I STILL have no clear answer. This is so basic, it should take less than a minute to search and find whether or not moderators can, or cannot, do this. At this point I'm not even sure but if it is possible I cannot figure out how. Terrible documentation by Twitch for super basic functionality.)

    As a moderator who works across multiple channels, one of the biggest challenges is dealing with repeat offenders who move from stream to stream to harass communities. Currently, each channel must individually ban the user, which is inefficient and leaves gaps for bad actors to exploit.

    Proposed Feature:
    A Cross-Channel Ban Tool that allows moderators (with permission from streamers) to apply a ban to multiple channels they mod for at once.

    How it could work:

    Mods can select multiple channels they are authorized to moderate.

    When issuing a ban, they have the option to apply it across some or all of those channels.

    Streamers would retain ultimate control and could opt-in or out of shared ban actions in their settings.

    The ban reason/note would carry over so each streamer has context.

    Benefits:

    Saves time and effort for mods handling repeat offenders.

    Strengthens community safety by closing loopholes for harassers.

    Maintains streamer autonomy while giving mods an efficient enforcement tool.

    Reduces emotional burnout for volunteer moderators.

16. pinning

    There could be some enhancements on pinning a message. The default should be a manual or end of stream since socials are always pinned in my experience. Pivoting on this, can we further enhance to keep pinned permanently so they don't have to be added each stream?

17. Android mod view not polished

    It has been like 3 months ever since twitch added mod view in android, and I still cant delete messages. Besides that, Im asking for a proper chat port, not something that came out of pc. It would be easier to just port the standard view chat and add the automod queue into it.

20. Easy "/shoutout" button

    In the user profile card that pops up when you click a username, add a "/shoutout" shortcut button around the same area as the follow, whisper, warn, timeout, etc buttons.
    A lot of times streamers will ask a moderator to shoutout another streamer, and having a button to do that quickly would be nice and also limit potential spelling errors that lead to shouting out the wrong account.
