Highlight new accounts for mods/streamer less than 30 days I would like to see new accounts to twitch that are 30> days flagged like suspicious users. also to have these accounts show up as a different color in users list to help intercept potential bot raids. first time chatter is one thing but after that first text they can get lost in the sauce so to speak and it will make it easier for mods to track potential problems. of course this would only be visible to the streamer or a user in mod view. there would be an option for the streamer to turn this off if there…

Roles improvement (changes and add new roles) Hi,
To improve the roles, custom roles (like discord) would be the best option to fit all community needs.

Quick Action Icon Accessibility Accessibility setting and/or glossary available for Quick Action icons that show in stream manager and mobile mod view. Some icons are repeated but different colors (ex: raid channel vs stop raids for 1 hour; sub only chat is a filled in star vs manage goals is an outlined star) and other icons aren't quite as clear what they mean until you learn them or have access to the full list for descriptions.

Automod's "are you sure?" should have autocorrect / suggestions I had an unfortunate typo where I missed the "T" in "all-nighter", and Automod popped up a window saying "are you sure you want to send this message?"
I was confused, because I didn't catch the typo the second time either, so:
It would have been nice had the Automod pop-up also suggested the appropriate correction or indicated/highlighted what it thought was against ToS, because it is easy to miss a typo both 1st and 2nd time.

Cross-channel moderation information I moderate for a dozen or so streamers. Every now and then I see someone and think "hmm, that name looks familiar".
It would be really handy if — perhaps as a tab or button on the viewer card — one could access a summary of that user's activity in other channels you moderate for. Ideally, it would include just the channels they'd ever been active in and list:
- Following since
- Subscription status
- Monitored/restricted
- The "warnings/timeouts/bans" mod actions summary
- Timestamp of most recent comment in that chat
Relatedly, it would be neat if the Mod Comments tab showed mod comments…

Fix stream time elapsed in old Mod View In the past few days, in the old Mod View, the stream time elapsed display below the "Session" icon has broken. It now only updates while the session pop-up is open; when it is closed the display freezes.
(I'm continuing to use the old mod view, because it makes better use of screen real-estate.)

Missing Chat History It seems that chat history from 2020 is now missing from viewer cards when logging users, but it is still part of data reports. It could be a temporary bug, but please fix this, as it makes seeing message history harder.

Niesłuszne bany Ostatnio dużo polskich użytkowników zaczęło dostawać blokady konta za napisanie "=cf all", jest to komenda dla bota Okayegbot. Domyślam się, że ta komenda jest bliska zablokowanemu słowu "cwel", jednak nikt pisząc to nie miał na myśli tego słowa. Moją propozycją by było dodać frazę "=cf all" do dozwolonych fraz. Proszę bardzo wziąć Moją propozycję na poważnie, gdyż ponieważ może ona pomóc jak i moderacji platformy Twitch ale również użytkownikom. Dziękuję za uwagę.

Lead Moderator Management of VIPs This UserVoice forum is quite...something. Just went through 20 pages of search results as well as pages for Moderation-specific feature requests, and it doesn't seem that the forthcoming Lead Moderator role is being attributed to any of the feature requests or other posts here, so thought I would post a separate feature request for this:
When you roll out the new Lead Moderator role (as early as today, it seems), please ensure that the Lead Moderator can manage not only mods (assign/revoke) but also VIPs (assign/revoke). This does not strike me as something that one would be appropriate to grant…

Temp mod for Trail Mod Periods Many streamers utilize trial mods to assess potential long-term team members. I believe it would be beneficial to implement a trial or temporary mod role with slightly limited permissions compared to a regular mod. The proposed structure would be as follows:
Permissions granted to trial mods:
Issue warnings
Apply short timeouts
Actions requiring secondary mod approval:
Apply extended timeouts
Issue bans
This approach allows the streamer to observe how trial mods handle situations while minimizing the pressure on them during the evaluation period.

Reason for ban on channel I think users should see the reason for a channel ban, if there is one.
Today I joined a channel where I was previously banned (quite a while ago) for some absurd reason.
And I don't remember why I was banned...
I can't watch the broadcast; I see a ban notification in the chat, but I don't see my message about the ban...
I think this is an oversight; people should know the reason for the ban. Besides, a user can be banned after they've left the chat and might not even understand why they were banned.

A "temporary mod" via a simple command Similar to the /mod command for giving a sword, maybe a /tempmod command that will give someone mod for a specific timeframe (customizable would be nice, similar to timeouts) before they go back to a VIP or regular chatter?
This could probably come in handy if a streamer with smaller numbers is on the Front Page, if a small streamer gets raided by a much larger streamer, etc.
It would also save a lot of streamers from the extra step of having to "/unmod" after the stream since the mod sword would drop off once the timer is up.7 votes -
ModLove Discord badge as Channel Badge option Adding Twitch Moderators Club logo as channel badge option for Moderators. In the Twitch Moderators Club Discord, there's a special logo showing a Heart with a Sword and a sash that says "MOD" on it, it's labeled as "ModLove" in the Discord. I would like to ask that anyone who is in the Moderators Club and has their Twitch connected to that Discord, be able to select that ModLove logo as a channel badge on channels that they moderate for.

false bans Streamer banned me for joking around in chat and laughing nothing serious really and being concerned for their health and the timing was just unlucky after they asked to not talk about the subject but I had just joined the stream after that and there was zero indication for that including their "chat rules" just saying "don't be a d***" when I wasn't even.

Honor Platform Bans There are way too many streamers on Twitch with an extensive ban history, and it shouldn't have to be suggested that ToS integrity be honored. 29 people attended TwitchCon San Diego 2025 with 5 or more bans on file, and a growing number of other users simply build up bans like trophies. Some even play with bans just to rack up their own bans, having 20 or more bans on file.
Bans should not just be a timeout, they need to live up to the term "ban"!
My suggestion is a "3 strikes then your out" model where bans ramp…

Customise Mod Permissions Allow the ability to add/remove permissions from roles. For example, make it possible for an 'editor' to postpone ads and change the stream title/game but not make it so they can delete your clips or download your library.
Alternatively, create another role that is above mod but below editor.

AutoMod Summary for Moderators At Twitchcon this year, it was mentioned that there was a new feature for AutoMod that would provide a summary/log of the actions taken to the streamer at the end of the stream. I believe this would also be useful information for the moderator team or for the lead moderator.
It would give a powerful look into what is occurring throughout the entire stream to the teams responsible for keeping communities safe!
