To improve the roles, custom roles (like discord) would be the best option to fit all community needs.

If not, here a proposition of improvement of the different roles with:

| - : Remove perm

+ Admins <-- without this, people share account
| + All permissions except Monetization > Affiliate | Partner

Lead Moderators
| + Ability to delete all mods / lead mods / streamer messages
| + Can add / remove Light Moderators

Moderators
| + Edit title / category <-- Many streamers give editor only for this (or use bots but it's not confortable)
| + Can delete own messages <-- already possible with API / extension, just add the :wastebasket: icon please
| - Moderation > Settings > Chat verification <-- It's more the Lead Mod role
| - Moderation > Settings > Follower verification <-- It's more the Lead Mod role

+ Light Moderators <-- Temp moderators or trainees (no ban, no viewers history access, no title / category change)
| + Delete messages
| + Warn
| + Timeout (max 10m for example)
| + Manage predictions
| + Manage polls

Editors
| - Edit title / category <-- no point to manage live content with this role
| + Manage Viewer Rewards > Power-ups & Channel Points
| + Manage Viewer Rewards > Emotes
