Shared ban list auto-ban Shared ban lists should have the option of auto-banning people on the list (instead of just monitoring or restricting them). Most likely this would have to be paired with some way of categorizing and collaborating on your ban list so you could just share a "worst of the worst" ban list with another streamer and anyone either of you adds there would be auto-banned from both your channels. This could help streamers who have shared values and a close relationship avoid problematic streamers.

More consistent bans and suspensions (fair and clear rules) There have been many cases where people have been suspended for blatant rule violations by committing sexual and or vulgar acts, however these ban/suspension durations (if they get banned or suspended at all) seem to be directly related to the large following and income they bring to twitch. it would seem to me and most anyone with access to your site, that it is an unfair practice to simply pick and choose who you decide to allow to break the agreements based off of the monetary value they create. Moderate the streams listed at the top of the twitch home page I decided to load up twitch to find something/someone to watch. Upon loading the Twitch.tv homepage I'm blasted with a stream at the top where you essentially get the stream play without loading into that person specifically. Anyway the point is that this specific person is just continuously non stop swearing with constant F*, C* and all sorts before going on to rip into disabled people. Luckily I didn't have it loaded on the television with any kids in the room. I don't blame the streamer for their content more so twitch for putting this sort of content…

Al pasar el ratón por encima del chat salen las etiquetas blancas que indican lo que es cada cosa y a la hora de borrar mensajes, dar time out o ban dificulta mucho hacerlo rapidamente ya que molestan. Además, creo que sobrecargan el navegador y se traba el panel de acciones del moderador.

/followsoff Give moderators the ability to temporarily suspend the ability for new viewers/chatters to follow the stream. This would be a useful feature for when followbots and/or hate raids attack a channel, the mods could put /followsoff (or similar) in chat to make the follow button unavailable for that stream. This would prevent mass followbots, prevent hate raiders from following, and prevent the painful process of streamers having to break away from their content and deal with turning off alerts and other mitigation measures. Dissappeared tool for moderation I had this issue for a while, in mod view you have next to stream title that "pen" moderation tool, which allows you to change titles and game category for the streamer, but once it just dissappeared for me and i do not have it there anymore. Does anyone have any idea why that happened, is it only a bug or doest it have to do with some twitch specific settings?

role in moderation My suggestion would be that within the moderation rank 2 ranks could be established, chief moderator rank and moderator rank so that the moderators can be controlled and be able to delete or put timeout if necessary.

Shared Ban - Restricted mode Restricted mode should NOT inform the chatter that their messages are not being delivered to the rest of chat. I feel like this is motive to encourage someone to act out even more... I feel like someone being restricted should not know they are being restricted. Feels VERY unsafe.
Sure, a ban may be the viable option, but there can be a lot of nuance to the relationships between fellow streamers and their communities... where nothing ban worthy has necessarily occurred but you might want to prevent an incident in the case something does.

Moderator communication What i'd like to propose is a separate chat window thats designated for moderators. One of the biggest issues when it comes to larger streamers is an endless chat torrent that makes it near impossible to catch mod messages, even with slow mode enabled. By adding in a designated mod chat window, it would enable the broadcaster to freely swap between that and their main chat, and that way communications from their moderators won't get lost within a rapidly moving text wall.

Update Banned Words List I can go into my personal channel bio and I should be able to type words like “gay” but I can’t. It doesn’t let me save it and it says it’s a banned word. I can type the word “straight.” I don’t see why I can’t type “gay.”
