Moderating Streamers Database or Section for streamers we moderate Have a section in Twitch where you can see all the streamers who you have moderator role. This would be helpful in the long run since some Twitch users have a moderator role on more than one channel.
Similar to modlookup, a third party website where Twitch users can see all of the streamers who are they currently moderating. Since Twitch's API changes in February 2023 have made it impossible to keep modlookup operational, it would be nice to have as separate section for users to access and would be convenient for it to link to streamers we currently moderate…

Change the Shield Mode Shortcut to Hide Per Person instead of Hide For Everyone Currently, while you are able to disable/hide the shield mode icon in the chat bar, this setting affect every mod and the streamer of the channel.
Instead, this setting (or a new setting) should apply this per person, similar to how the Chat Highlights' shortcut option works.
Reason: Some mods may be more prone to accientially clicking it, Some mods may simply feel easier without it while others may feel easier that they can activate it faster.
There's no reason this should only be a global setting, I'm not against the idea of having a toggle to disable to icon…

Ableist Slurs In Screen Names Etc Not Being Addressed I have reported a handful of accounts that use ablelist slurs as their usernames. I don't want to type them here but I am happy to help provide examples if contacted. Even Beyonce and Lizzo have changed lyrics in recent years to address this issue. I have never seen these accounts dealt with. This seems to be a blind spot in the programming or awareness of the moderation team on Twitch. Please update your guidelines or filters to include ableist slurs ASAP.

Give moderators a toggle to translate messages in foreign languages, particularly first time messages Inspired by a real life incident today having to ban a person for calling the streamer a 'dirty wh**e' in French, moderators having to do the extra leg work to translate languages they don't speak on a third party website to curb abuse could be massively simplified by having an option baked into the system to detect language and offer a translation as required would make for an excellent tool to keep our communities safer.

Follower only watch So i get bullied/harrased while streaming, usernames are the main thing attacking me or friends with really messed up stuff. It is so bad that i have to stop my game and report them and block them.
My idea is, can we please have a feature that says you can only watch this streamer if you are a follower. Not the you can't type anything in the chat ****. Make automod reconcile the fact that words mean more than one thing Words can mean more than one thing and banning them outright doesn't always work.
for example: I'm trying to use the word "fatty" in my bio on my channel to mean cannabis joint and it is banned by AutoMod and this is far from the first use case of AutoMod failing to keep up with it's human users and their nuanced use of language.

See how long someone has been in chat See how long individuals have been watching the stream. This could be sorted by time and allow us to identify and ban stream snipers who don't use the same name in twitch/game.

Restrict accounts that use certain email addresses So my suggestion is to add the ability for accounts to be automatically restricted from chatting based on the email address they used to create the account. Non-Mod Chat Delay not working when logged in When I set the "Non-Mod Chat Delay" in the chat setting to 6 seconds I get just the delay when people are watching it without an account. If a viewer is logged in to a Twitch account it doesn't show any delay. I feel this shouldn't be like that.

Prediction/Polls on Mobile Allow a Mod on Mobile to make predictions and polls. Right now all you can do is join in but if no other mod is on the computer and the streamer needs assistance with the predictions mods on their mobiles can not help at all.

Gegen Hass und Hetze Vorgeben von Content Creator Es würde sehr helfen gegen Content Creator die Hass und Hetze vorgegangen wird und es nicht einfach ignoriert wird. Die User die hate verbreiten sind das eine Problem, aber das schlimmere Problem sind die Content Creator die die Leute anstacheln und Geld damit verdienen Hass zu verbreiten. How to hold Moderators accountable? I am a new user and read the rules for chatting on the Main Twitch Channel. I was watching HCS today and did not break any of the rules. The moderators timed me out and then for 30 minutes for expressing that they timed me out for no reason. This is unacceptable. You must allow abusive moderators to be held accountable. We must be able to submit reports or defenses for abusive moderators.

Bann multiple accounts with same IP I think twitch has to improve the way new accounts are created. Recently in a chat I moderate there was a guy creating accounts with the username composed with the streamer's name followed by an insult and despite being banned every single time, he keep creating new accounts every 5 minutes. It's ridiculous that twitch account creation system doesn't prevent that behavior from happening.
Also, after reporting every account one by one, they only removed one of them (the third one), and not the original account nor de subsequent accounts.9 votes
