Option to filter out Sexual Themes While I believe that creators should have some freedom to do what they want, I also believe viewers should have the freedom to exclude certain content from their searches on Twitch. As is right now, I cannot find a way to filter out streams marked with "Sexual Themes" through the search bar on Twitch. Simply searching the word "art" brings up any stream with the "art" tag, which could be a stream with the "Sexual Themes" CCL.
In fact I just did this, the top 5 results included two streams of IRL streamers in barely any clothes, dancing in a…

Ban streamers who show more skin then clothing I am tired of coming onto twitch an seeing so many female streamers posing half naked an making thousands from it. This is not a **** website. There are children who watch this daily giving away there money because they think they have some kind of connection with these woman when they just lie an manipulate there viewers for donations. For example writing there name across there breasts for a tier 3 subscription. Its a despicable act that you allow this on your platform. Also the way you treat your male creators vs. female creators is awful, have some pride…

Do more to combat streams that advertise phishing links The Oldschool Runescape section on twitch has rampant issues with phishing streams. The scammer downloads a vod of a popular streamer, creates a new account, and streams with titles such as "My Final OSRS stream", and instructs viewers to visit the runescape forum link below the stream to read about it. The link is a phishing page, obviously.
They do some other scams sometimes as well, e.g. "Click the link below to activate your double xp buff", while restreaming a dev Q&A vod.
I'm sure it's a problem in some other communities as well.
The streams are extremely easy to…

This a game streaming platform not a site for fan service. vr is blowing up and with vr streamers, lately alot of vr streamers have been slipping by some of the rules and its kind of concerning. if you watch most of the streamers youll notice that the content feels more like fan service rather than a reflection to the game and/or personality. i feel like the rules for vr in general should just be more strict since the creations of most of the creators has only been sex related if not blatantly sexual. please rework some of the gameplay guidelines so that vr has specified rules since it is somewhat…

Perma ban Racist comments Too many people are running into minority streams and throwing hate speech. People report them and then they return nothing changes. It's unacceptable.

How can we start a dialog about Twitch's inequitable treatment of female streamers? Twitch's changes to acceptable content this year explicitly created different rules for male and female streamers. Where can we start a dialog about what kind of message this sends to both women and those who objectify/dismiss female streamers?

Addressing Double Standards in Content Moderation I wanted to bring to your attention an ongoing concern within the community regarding what seems to be a double standard in content moderation, specifically the disparity between the treatment of IRL streamers—particularly in categories like hot tubs and pools—and VTubers.
It’s frustrating to see that IRL streamers, often wearing revealing outfits like bikinis, are allowed to stream with minimal restrictions. Yet, VTubers, who use animated avatars, face stricter guidelines and even risk bans for things as minor as showing their hips—something that seems inconsistent, considering the much more lenient approach toward live-action content in similar categories.
This discrepancy sends…

Feedback on the new TOS Dear Twitch Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express deep concerns and respectfully request a reconsideration of the recent Terms of Service (TOS) update, specifically pertaining to sexual content, on the Twitch platform.
While we acknowledge the necessity of maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all users, the latest TOS adjustments appear to have inadvertently created a significant negative impact, especially among the younger audience. There is a growing prevalence of individuals disregarding the guidelines, promoting explicit content, including links to adult services like OnlyFans, and displaying graphic sexual imagery during live streams.…

If you like po*n, you will love Twitch.com With this latest TOS update, the only remaining difference between Twitch and Chaturbate is the fact that on the second you can masturbate on cam, which at this rate you will allow in a matter of months.
A platform that fails to enforce its own rules is a failing platform, I honestly believe that within 2-3 years most serious streamers will have already moved to Kick or YouTube, because there will no longer be space on this platform for their content.
Over time, Twitch will become a site intended for *********** and will remain only, as it already is now,…12 votes -
Pepe the Frog is now recognized as a hate symbol I feel like having Pepe the Frog as a chat emote isn't so great now that it's an alt-right symbol, so if you're really averse to removing it, maybe send out a message to Twitch users explaining why it's there because I think to some people that could feel kind of partisan? Thanks

Banning words I've seen that Twitch has been banning of words like 'simp', 'incel', and 'virgin'. These are mostly terms used towards males, yet horrifically offensive terms like "bitch" , "pussy" , "cunt" which are used to belittle and demean Women are not? It is used to belittle and offend Men, and sometimes women and put them down, in the most horrific way and has been used for years as a sexist term to say that someone is less of a person or 'inferior because they are a women' so they call them either a "bitch" , a "pussy" or a "cunt".…

Showing body parts(******, see through clothing that is revealing. Streamers have been getting away with little to no punishment for things that aren't even allowed on this platform when others (male and female) streamers have been punished more severely for less. We need to make it fair for everyone no one should get special treatment no matter how big their streams or who they are.
Male, female, and all genders should be dealt with equally no one should violate guidelines and reveal naked body parts and get a slap on the wrist, some people can take that as ****** harassment.

chest covered policy why some men can stay at stream without shirt , and women are being punished for they cleavage and show the body, and men can go shirtless live no matter what kind of body shapes they have (yes, there are men who appear to have breasts)?
can we have an equal policy for all ?
or please let us know why female body can be considered sexualized and not a male body

Overhaul Community Guidelines I know Twitch CEO went over this at Twitch-con San Diego 2019 with some good pluses towards this better chance. I have no idea when that will be implemented into today's Twitch Moderation, but hopefully sooner rather than later.
But anyways, some things he did not mention was these ideas and should add-on or I would recommend a complete overhaul on the enforcement.
• We should be able to see in our own dashboards of previous infractions that are on the account and not removed due to being expired or mistakened suspensions. We, as live streamers, or even users (non-live…

Exclude currently live streamers from viewer counts on other channels We propose that accounts that are actively broadcasting on their own channel should not be counted as viewers on other Twitch streams they may have open at the same time.
In other words, a streamer should still be able to open and follow other channels while they are live, for example to support friends or fellow creators, but their presence should not contribute to those channels’ concurrent viewer count.
This would make viewer counts more representative of users who are actually watching a stream as viewers, while preventing so-called “lurking” between streamers who are currently live from artificially influencing audience…

Block access to twitch api Someone created an app that allows him to see every channel’s followers without being a moderator. He can also track every Twitch user in real time, meaning he can see who a user is following instantly. He is using this app to harass me.
He keeps following me everywhere, no matter if I change my username or not. Twitch’s API access should be restricted to Twitch staff only. When Twitch removed the ability for users to see who someone is following, that restriction should have applied to everyone, including third-party applications.
Please restrict access to the Twitch API so that…

TWITCH MODS THAT FOLLOW THEIR OWN GUIDELINES Please hear me out, I know that idea sounds crazy.
There are many streams that outright break Twitch's so called "Community Guidelines", yet upon reporting and giving exact violations, absolutely nothing is ever done.Example:
https://www.twitch.tv/forhim__tv^Channel was already permabanned - https://www.twitch.tv/forhim_tv
Reporting does nothingHe shows lingerie with visible nipples.
I give exact timestamps (like for current stream 6:41:32 &
6:50:40)
Reporting does nothing. That gooner streams are on Twitch at all is crazy, but that mods refuse to follow their own rules and are covering for these streams is outright disgusting given the fact that if you or…

Stricter Gambling Rules Stricter gambling rules. Make gambling accessible to users that have proven to be 18 or older. Make "gambling" category in twitch unaccessible to users that havent proven their age with valid ID. Streamers who gamble in different category receive temporary or permanent ban. Gambling has been raising concern over the years in Twitch. This ia an idea how to restrict under age users from watching gambling streams and how Twitch could strengthen their gambling rules.

Acceptable terms I would request a dialing back on the cracking down of supposed anti-Semitism via the use of the term Zionist/ism. Considering this is an ideology and not a wholesale description of all Jewish people, it seems fair game to allow. I understand the ADL has weighed in on this matter, but given that they seem incapable of acknowledging the ongoing genocide in Gaza I fail to see how they have an unbiased or constructive take on this matter. Almost the entirety of mainstream news sources have, what appears to me to be, a clear bias in favor of presenting Israel's…
