  1. I would like to know how you secure control the whole web, in front of teenagers, when a lot of channels on twitch are sexual content, isn't it over the edge when someone films their *** for several hours in a bathing suit so that everyone can take sexual comfort from looking at the ******? It looks like pornographic material to me?!

This content should not be easily accessible live, it's easier to watch content here than other sites that are age restricted and verification is required! I recommend creating an access option for this content only with age verification…

  2. Why is the term '******' accepted at Twitch/Amazon? From what I can see it's completely acceptable for streamers/Twitch chatters to use this term freely.

Twitch has cracked down on most bigoted language, so I am curious as to why this term has been allowed to be said?

  4. A channel I'm currently subscribed to has been getting reports from bad actors that have been triggering automatic suspensions. Despite being told repeatedly every time the channel gets reinstated that it was an error on Twitch's part, the flagrant reporting continues and the channel continues to be suspended. Twitch needs to be able to do more to protect channels from being targeted by mass reporting and suspension. It makes it impossible for popular channels to exist if this is being done.

  5. Recently Twitch updated their guidelines and with the update the tags "Suicide Prevention" & "Suicide Awareness" have been removed as tags as they go against Twitch community guidelines. I am appalled that Twitch would remove advocacy for people who are trying to promote better mental health through trying to prevent suicide. I have been a strong advocate of suicide prevention through having discussions about mental health in order to remove the stigma around it. I hope that Twitch reconsiders this decision to blanket ban any tag with the word 'suicide' in it so we can go back to utilizing this…

  6. Every time I login, I am required to go to my email and give a code. Twitch claims this is a safety and privacy feature that you can not deactivate, but if twitch can’t tell I’m on the phone with that app and the only reason I’m on the internet is because the app took me there, then it’s not a safety feature it’s 2 step login you can’t turn off. How about you just do a better job. When the nurse brings you back to the doctors office, the doctor doesn’t come in and ask you who you are.…

  7. Truth be told. I don't think it is appropriate for ANY Twitch user to be posting ANY sexualized photos period no matter how they cover themselves up. This is a gaming content site NOT pornhub and sex has no business being on a gaming site. There ARE minors that game n like watching n following other gamers and don't think they need to be exposed to garbage like that. ANY form of nudity, whether using hands or stickers to cover up genitals is considered sexual content and should be an automatic suspension or permanent banning due to ALL policy violations.…

  8. Concerning the issue of malicious individuals using multiple accounts to target specific users in order to abuse the measures mentioned above and force their suspension, I think chat-related issues can usually managed within channel moderation grounds without any active involvement of Twitch, except for the cases in which severe violations occure.

The current system imposes a 14-day suspension for repeated harassment towards others, which I consider excessive, for it can lead to mumerous mistaken suspensions. Additionally, avenues for appealing these suspensions are limited, raising concerns that users may leave Twitch if this issue persists.

Many acquaintances have experienced mistaken suspensions,…

  10. When Twitch staff receives reports with clear proof that a streamer is in violation of guidelines, they ignore the reports and deliberately fail to take action. I know because I have sent reports stating the violation, linking the rule being violated, and included screenshots and video clips. Everything is made perfectly clear. Yet, hours later, the streamer is still streaming doing the same thing. And this has happened many many times over a year.

If the streamer is continuing to do it, then whatever punishment Twitch is imposing, probably none, is not enough. The streamer continues to do it because…

  11. There have been many cases where people have been suspended for blatant rule violations by committing sexual and or vulgar acts, however these ban/suspension durations (if they get banned or suspended at all) seem to be directly related to the large following and income they bring to twitch. it would seem to me and most anyone with access to your site, that it is an unfair practice to simply pick and choose who you decide to allow to break the agreements based off of the monetary value they create. Ive recently started streaming myself, and have had one viewer suspended…

  12. I wish there was more fair/even treatment. Had a friend who is a small streamer (affiliated) being a viewer for another small streamer (and was labeled mod) get suspended for 7 days for saying something. Was it again your "guideline" Yes, in a sense, it was out of guidelines but it wasn't nearly as bad as some of the stuff I've seen Twitch allow.
(Context clues showed that it was an inside joke between the streamer and him and was accepted by the streamer.)

It wouldn't be a big deal if treatment was across the board, but I've seen some…

Title: How to protect my chat room community from being banned by mistake?

    Body:

I appreciate Twitch's efforts in managing the community. Recently, my chat room has been reported for hate speech in large numbers. These are all well-behaved users who would not say anything strange. Is there any way to prevent these users from being maliciously reported in advance, or to help me prove that they were falsely banned after being reported?

  14. Ok so I think for vtuber you should make it so they can still be on the homepage because it’s kinda unfair how they have to label their stuff as sexual content when there really isn’t anything sexual about it, it’s just relaxing sounds to sleep to so that’s all if you can do this thank you

  15. Contradictive Community guidelines and Content Classification.

Why is it that Twitch is so concerned about the nudity in games. And yet you have nude and naked streams being allowed and being promoted to the top of the view this.

What is best is that when my kids and their friends go onto the TV and open twitch, suddenly Reccomended for you they habve these Naked women and naked ***** all over the screen.

Remove the Hot tubs and steamy baths or whatever they have it.
You cannot report those channels. The minute that you do, it says their is a…

  16. hi twitch, i was managing my own clips in creator dashboard and at the end of all my clips, 2 streams popped up as recommendation in Just Chatting (as i was managing my Just Chatting clips) and were both from the same creator; the thumbnails were of her naked with her legs and chest exposed (but nipples out of screen). i was slightly taken aback, you know, as my monitor is huge, and it is 4am, and i was not ready to see such nudity while casually editing clips and unwinding from a stream.

    i'm female, and i don't care…

  17. Suggested Guidelines for Artistic Nudity

While it was sad to see the Artistic Nudity policy get rolled back due to abuse, I do believe it can be brought back with a clearer definition and key restrictions in place.

I have a framework of the policy that I think can be useful.

    Artistic Nudity Guidelines

"Artistic Nudity" refers to nude artwork, i.e. Nude art that does not feature or detail genitals of either sex/gender and female subjects with exposed breasts or nipples.
Drawings, paintings, digital or canvas are allowed to feature Artistic nudity, provided the art does not incorporate the depiction…

  18. I understand that with AI that it became difficult to tell the difference between digital art and photography. Since that seemed to be the greatest source of issues, it seems like the best concession might be to disallow photo realistic nudity until a time when the difference between photo realistic AI art and photography can be more easily identified. Outside of that, I would say requiring explicit and age appropriate tags and making it so you have to opt in to see adult media in the setting should be enough to allow artistic nudity. If there are any other issues…

  19. Digital depictions of nudity present a unique challenge–AI can be used to create realistic images, and it can be hard to distinguish between digital art and photography.

Most art sites have a stipulation of "if we can't tell, it's treated as real." The current flip flop is just going to confuse people and cause undue stress and accidental violations by people meaning well.

    IE. Pixiv: (not allowed)

Images that are primarily real-life photographs, regardless of the use of filters or photo editing (*)
Real-life photographs or photo-realistic images that can be interpreted as sexual content

  20. I have recommendations that not only helps users, but more importantly protect TWITCH itself.

    • Number the policies into clear enforceable points(e.g. policy SC-2b-iv)
    • In enforcement emails, show clear timestamps that shows the violation and quote the policy number violated using the numbering above.

Making the policy itself is a difficult, intricate task which requires multi-faceted considerations that may be obscure to the general user. Thus I trust twitch has qualified specialists for the actual policy creation. However vague ENFORCEMENT leaves the corporate vulnerable to public image attacks that is extremely dangerous especially for a corporate which depends on advertisers. Clearly…
