Swedish translation mistake Swedish translation mistake:
When a Hype Train triggers, “Unlockable emotes” is currently translated as “olåsbara emoter”.
“Upplåsbara emotes” would be a more suitable translation.
“Olåsbar” means that something doesn't have a lock or that something cannot be locked. “Emoter” is also not the correct term in this context; “emotes” is the appropriate term.

french translation translation error french : when you're getting banned of a chat and ask for detail its written "Vous pourrez envoyer une demande d'annulation de bannissement le 16:21 à 25 juil. 2026" n my language (french) it means "You will be able to appeal the 16:21 at 25 july 2026" instead of "the 25th july 2026 at 16:21" (details case)
the correct form would be "Vous pourrez envoyer une demande d'annulation de bannissement le 25 juil. 2026 à 16:21"2 votes -
New option to refund subscription in Dutch leads to duplicate options New option to refund subscription in Dutch leads to duplicate options and is confusing.
Both the "do not renew subscription" and the new "refund subscription" are translated to "Abonnement opzeggen" and "Opzeggen abonnement". The same words in a different order for two separate options.
I almost chose the wrong option while wanting to support the creator for the full month without renewal. Fortunately the confirmation made it clear it was the wrong option for what I was intending to do.
Do not renew subscription should be "Abonnement niet verlengen" en the new refund subscription should be something like "Abonnement terugvorderen"…

Error in Finnish translation of censored word reporting If someone writes potentially nsfw word in chat and it is censored as stars (****), upon clicking the stars twitch asks if this word was properly censored. The "No" selection in this case is mistranslated to Finnish as "En", which means "I don't". It should be "Ei" which means "No".

False positive: Whitelist the safe Russian word "нега" The Russian word "нега" (pronounced: nega) is constantly blocked or held for review by AutoMod. This is a severe localization bug.In the Russian language, "нега" is an absolutely clean, safe, and highly literary word. It is found in official academic dictionaries (like Ozhegov and Dahl). It means "bliss", "serenity", "comfort", or "relaxation" (e.g., used in phrases like "morning bliss" or "relaxation before sleep"). It has ZERO offensive, derogatory, or inappropriate meanings.AutoMod flags it incorrectly due to its spelling, possibly confusing it with a blocked English word or misinterpreting it as inappropriate content.Update the Russian AutoMod dictionary and whitelist the word…

French notification when going live If your Twitch App on mobile is in french, when a streamer is going live, you will receive "(Streamer) est live" which isn't a proper way to say it. It should be "(Streamer) est en live". Tiny mistake ! :)

Incorrect display of date/time in parts of Twitch.tv Website twitch.tv:
- On the schedule, twitch.tv/streamer/schedule, the timezone listed top left of the schedule is displayed using 'en' locale regarldess of the selected locale. This means that any timezone-abbreviation not recognised by 'en' (en-US) will display as the GMT-offset.
- In the chat, twitch.tv/streamer/chat, any pinned message will have the time of that message displayed using 'en' locale regarldess of the selected locale. This means a message sent at 15:00 will display as "3 PM" in all locales.2 votes -
Translation error in Finnish localisation on the subscriptions page. On the subscription info card in English version it states "Your next Sub anniversary is in X days". In Finnish localisation the word "anniversary" is translated as "vuosipäivä". In the context of it referring to a monthly anniversary it would be better to use the word "merkkipäivä" which points to a more general anniversary and not strictly to a yearly one.
Thank you.

Dutch translation very awkward and poorly written website wide. The Dutch translations on the website are incredibly awkward.
Example: "Schenk een abonnement v"
"Nog *** abonneepunten te gaan!"Or a more obvious example, in chat, whenever someone subscribes:
"xyz heeft zich geabonneerd op niveau 1. Hij/zij heeft zich voor 22 maanden geabonneerd, en is al 22 maanden op rij abonnee!"The pronouns are very awkwardly put there. Nobody says "Hij/zij" like that in Dutch, especially not the young audience that is watching. It feels like the entire Twitch site is translated by a chatbot, or by a 50yro anti-English Flemish grandma who is not used to genderless writing.

Error in the Polish translation of the Drops & Rewards description When you go to the Drops & Rewards tab and select a game, for example Enshrouded, you will see instructions on how to get rewards in the Progress & Redemption section. The sentence "Connect Twitch account with the account for Enshrouded to receive the reward" was translated into Polish as "Połącz kontro Twitcha z kontem gry Enshrouded, aby otrzymać nagrodę".
The word "kontro" is wrong and does not exist in Polish. It should be "konto". Please fix this translation.

is not exactly a translation error, is a graphic bug because of that On the Analytics summary page (in Spanish Translation), the text in the ‘Suggested categories’ items is overflowing, and some values are not fully visible. We could abbreviate the text to avoid overflow.

Fix translation error in Bulgarian UI: "3 days left" Hello,
There is a bad translation in the Bulgarian version of the site (Gift Subs promo).
The text "3 days left" is currently translated as "3 дни вляво", which implies direction (to the left).
It should be translated as "Остават 3 дни" (time remaining).
I have screenshots of the error, which I can provide if needed.
Please correct this context error. Thank you!

Streak notification translation error (typo) in Portuguese Brazil The notification string "Your X-stream streak is mantained with Y" is wrongly translated to "Você mantece sua sequência de X lives em Y".
It should read "Você manteve sua sequência de X lives em Y" (with a "v" instead of "c" in the word "manteve")
Being "X" the number of streams in sequence and "Y" the username of the stream.

Typo on Russian "Joining the Affiliate Program" page On Russian "Joining the Affiliate Program" page there is a typo. In the "Monetization Tools:"/"Инструменты монетизации:" sub article it says "Хайпочат (подрбонее)". Clearly it meant to be written as "Подробнее" instead of "Подрбонее".

Spelling mistake when exporting (English) When you export a stream VOD to YouTube, it automatically adds the text "Broadcasted live on Twitch -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/username" to the description. "Broadcasted" is not a word; the correct spelling of the past tense is "Broadcast". This is a small error, but it's annoying that I have to fix the spelling every time I export a video.

Automaticallly convert date-time in banners On Twitch, during special events or other events, a banner shows when this starts and/or ends. The problem is that this date and time is hardcoded, written into the text and does not change regardless of which timezone the user is in.
The problems that occur with this are numerous:
- For English, it uses US date format (regardless if UK English is picked), which means when the numerical format is used "8/10" which is intended as August 10, can be read as 8 October. The timezone "PST"/"PDT" can be meaningless to many users.

Spanish Translation Error In the "Video Manager" section of the dashboard, the call-to-action button to "highlight" a video says "Destacado" when it should say "Destacar".
And the "highlighted" videos say "Destacar" when it should say "Destacado".They've reversed the words. It would be great if they could correct this because it's a bit confusing, to be honest.
