  2. There are several languages that do not have the option to be selected in the "Stream Language". This means that viewers do not have the option to filter and find streams in those languages.

We need minority languages to also have their place to be able to create content in these languages.

I would like to ask "EUSKARA" (official language of the Basque country) as an option in "Stream Language".

  3. In Dutch language, in the translation for the affiliate anniversary (ENG:

PartyHat Happy Affiliate Anniversary!) the emote PartyHat is translated into Feestmuts (DUTCH: Feestmuts Gefeliciteerd met je Affiliate-jubileum).

Feestmuts would be the correct translation for PartyHat, but the emote only works with the English term (and translation in other languages has the PartyHat emote).

The same error might also be in other celebration messages (like partner anniversary).

  4. I'm using Twitch in Swedish, primarily for the Swedish formats since English (Sweden) isn't an option.

But there are some improper formats on the analytic screen, and this issue is likely happening to several other languages, and is likely due to hardcoded functions. By resolving these issues, these are not only resolved for Swedish, but also for several other languages.
    https://dashboard.twitch.tv/u/USERNAME/analytics

When you press on the date-banner at the top to change the date, the date-pickers are displaying with Sunday first, which is quite confusing to look at since Sweden is always Monday first. This calendar should reflect the locale…

  5. In Norwegian, when you click on "Bla gjennom" - > "Kategorier" -> "{game}" (Browse -> Category -> {game} in English) there is a highlighted stream running at the top. The button of which to watch the stream says "Følg strømmen" which translates to "Follow the stream". The word "Følg" is also used by Twitch to actually follow the stream, so it is very confusing. In English Twitch the "Følg strømmen" is "Join Stream", which makes alot more sense. You should find a better translation in Norwegian, like "Se på" (Watch), "Se på strømmen" (Watch the stream) or "Bli med" (Join).

  6. Today there was a stream on https://www.twitch.tv/worldoftanks/ which rewarded twitch watchers with drops. Unfortunately the stream went live between 3am and 6am Eastern Australian Time.

Why not make this steam VOD so everyone in the world including families and kids can watch it at a sensible hour?

  7. Twitch uses data from IGDB, but there are some errors where this data isn't applied properly. IGDB uses the North American (NA) title by default, and has the European title as the alternative, even in situations where the European title is the original or matching the original better.

    • The schedule on twitch.tv uses the NA title regardless of locale selected. Both the small item of the schedule, as well as when you click on it to expand it. But the cover used is localised.

    • The video producer on dashboard.twitch.tv use the NA title regardless of locale, when you edit a…

  8. Please add a German language option which does not use Gender language (you can leave current German option as default).

Or use the generic masculinum and add (m/w/d) at the end.

Gender language disrupts reading flow and is not including everyone, e.g.

    Kolleg*innen

This does not include males since the word Kolleg does not exist in that context.

  9. Currently, the title of the classification label in Finnish reads as "Tarkoitettu tietynlaiselle yleisölle" which translates as "Intended for a certain kind of audience". I'd propose using the translation "Tarkoitettu rajoitetuille yleisöille" which translates back into English as "Intended for limited audiences." There is a difference of tone and meaning, but most importantly the plural form of the original "Intended for certain audiences" is conserved.

  10. As a Galician streamer I love to watch other galician streamers. But twitch plataform don't allow me to set that my videos are in Galego because I can't specify that I'm streaming in Galego. I must choose: "Others".

This situation creates a problem for at least 3.000.000- 4 million people that speak galician because we have no easy method to find videos/streams in our language.

For that reason, We will really appreciate that twitch adds Galician (Galego) language as an option on Language settings of Live Streams.

NOTE: that we are not asking to translate the whole platform. We only…

  13. The traditional Chinese translation for the term 'DropsEnabled' is '啟用掉寶', but the current display shows '启用掉宝' which is simplified Chinese instead of traditional Chinese.

And also, there are many texts in simplified Chinese characters in your customer service feedback menu. Please check your text errors.

  14. In very recent news, Twitch has not been complying with the overly strict requirements of censorship required by the site to run in Russia.

Twitch has been fined now multiple times. Twitch within a month.
It is easy for us all to see that you will not bend the knee and start censoring the streamers on your platform. However, it's also easy to see this situation won't end anytime soon.

I think it's wrong to blanket ban Russian streamer and delete their content. Obviously. We have to preserve that history for once the war ends.

    However, the site being allowed…

  16. The german localization titles the sub gifter badge as "Person, die das Abonnement verschenkt" which equates to "person who gifts the sub" in english. This sounds very unnatural. Closer to the english "sub gifter" would be something along the lines of "Abo-Verschenker". Another more natural alternative would also be "Person, die ein Abo verschenkt hat" which translates to "person who has gifted a sub".

  19. Hey everyone!

I'm located in Ukraine and got registered in Twitch some time ago.
Since Twitch does not have Ukrainian localization yet I had to choose English one instead.

Luckily there is a petition to add Ukrainian locale here:
    https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/924619-localization/suggestions/43430019-add-ukrainian-localization-please

Nevertheless, when I logged in to my Twitch account today, I got an email notification in Russian, so I had to translate it to understand it well.

I don't know why it happened but I would like to receive notifications either based on my location (Ukraine - in Ukrainian) or based on my profile language (English and when Ukrainian will…

    Hi all!

Could you please answer a few questions:

    1. What was the language you chose when you created your account?
    2. Have you changed your preferred language at all since then or recently?
    3. Is this the first time you’ve received an email in your non-preferred language, or has it always been sending emails in Russian?
    4. To be clear, if you click on your profile picture, and under “Language”, you have “English” chosen, but are receiving Russian emails?

    Edit:
    5. What is the language you have selected on https://help.twitch.tv?

  20. The Czech Republic and Slovakia have more and more new creators, but not only the small ones but also the big ones who have thousands of people on their live broadcasts and would need faster support in their native language.

Excuse me, but twitch support is often extremely slow and it is unacceptable for streamers of this size to wait for comments for a few days. Therefore, it would be good to introduce Support for CZ / SK as Poland has, for example, but with the difference that a live support chat could only be implemented for twitch partners.

    I…
