Account age verification from the start Recently a 19 year old got susspended on Twitch indefinitley for being under age, this is not ok. Twitch should be absolutley sure about ages and not have an auto bot ban users falsly.
This idea is all about having an ID registered into the accounts when creating them, using the candidate number, date of birth, ect. Basically a debit card for paying for bits, but with an ID registering the person behind the account and also verifying their age. If the ID is renewed then Twitch should ask the user to update their details with the new ID.6 votes -

let me log into my account "It looks like you're trying to login from a new device or location". No it's actually not, I'm trying to log in from a browser that you currently have over 50 cookies stored on from the same location.
I don't delete them from twitch due to this very hassle, yet you still send me a verification code every time I try to use the site.

Option for support regarding accidental unfollows pre confirmation. I emailed support a while ago and was told that developers are working on the idea. I was hoping if we could get support on reinstating follow dates that were accidently lost before unfollow confirmation was implemented. Many people accidently unfollowed accounts or lost following so lost their follow dates and by providing proof people should be able to reinstate these dates. Thanks!

Recycling respects not us Affiliates, and Partners, we should stay in memories for all Centuries. This is hateful you are disrespecting us Affiliates, and Partners, we should get the rights since of sharing exclusive VODs (exclusivity rule) with Twitch, and are restricted for 24 hrs to reupload (reuploading someone who is going live often is really difficult), I mean you are already getting huge splits of revenue by us, then you disrespect even our names in cases if someone of us dies?

Receive pop up notification that other streamer started stream when in full screen mode It would be nice to receive a pop up notification when I watch in full screen that other streamer I follow started his stream.

Twitch Community feature IFTTT applet Ask your programmer that runs the IFTTT twitch department to create an applet that will "post to facebook and or twitter when a Streamer starts streaming to a community you created."
This applet would become a very powerful tool for community organizers/administrators to promote their communities streamers! thus bringing in more viewers to the twitch platform and streamer while easing our work load!

Watch Streak breaks on random even though one is active in the stream. I mod for quite a few channels on Twitch. While modding for someone, I lost my watch streak even though I was actively modding for the person. I never got a notification to keep my watch streak or to recover my watch streak. At that time I had 3 streams up and only two out of the three got counted. Is there a restriction on how many streams we could be viewing when counting watch streaks? This happened about 2 months ago.

Recycle Former Partner Usernames After a Reasonable Holding Period Twitch’s current username policy states that when a Partner changes their username, their previous username will never be made available to anyone else. This means that every username a Partner has used can remain permanently locked, even if it has not been associated with their active channel for several years.
I understand giving Partners additional support and protecting their established branding. However, permanently removing every previous Partner username from circulation feels excessive and unfair to the rest of the community.

midstream summary According to many different social media platforms (and I ***/u/me email contacts to support personnel), EVERYONE dislikes this idea, especially when it houses AI to do so.
If you really want to keep this idea, then take AI out of it. No creator (twitch or otherwise) wants AI to hear their voices and mimic them or their movements, or take their content for someone else to use without consent or knowledge.
If you want to make people happy, take this idea and throw it out the window into the garbage bin.

Multiple Incorrect Bans Due to Bot or Automated Account Good afternoon/evening. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this; if not, please move it to a more appropriate forum. I have concerns about the current detection system for humans and bots. This year alone, I've been permanently banned twice due to being labeled a "bot or automated account" and had to appeal to be unbanned. Therefore, I'm wondering how your system can have such difficulty distinguishing between real people and bots. It's worth noting that I usually lurk during streams and hardly write anything. Could this be why the system always thinks I'm a bot?…

Provide ability for UK existing Twitch users to age verify their accounts Recently, existing Twitch accounts in the United Kingdom have had access to what Twitch deems mature content such as horror games blocked. However there is currently no method provided to verify a UK users age. Please provide an age verification method for UK users as soon as possible to minimise disruption to those users and allow them to restore their full access to Twitch streaming services.

Allow smaller payouts for beginner streamers Currently, the minimum payout on Twitch is $50. For beginner streamers, this amount can be too high and may feel discouraging while they are still growing. My suggestion is that Twitch allows beginner streamers to make smaller withdrawals, even symbolic amounts, as a way of encouragement.
Any amount received can make a huge difference at the start — whether to invest in better equipment (like a microphone, lighting, or internet) or simply as motivation to keep streaming. This would create a more positive and inclusive experience for new creators on the platform.

Phone-verification issue Recently Twitch started to require phone-verification on all channels, even on those i followed for years, for unknown reason (im human not a spam bot etc.). Support answer that they cant help, why can't they permit account so i can use twitch as before

Add a separate list for channels you are VIP in the follow list. I want to have the channels I'm VIP in show up at the top of the follow list so it's easy to know when they are live.

Tag Filter for Recommendations Please add a tag filter to prevent channels with those tags from appearing in the recommendations.
My recommendations routinely have many channels I would never watch which prevents me from finding channels that I would watch.
