Adding DMZ as a game category to help discoverability
would like to add call of duty : dmz as a separate category on twitch to help discoverability for dmz creators so we aren't all lost in the warzone category
have had multiple people stop by saying they are looking for dmz content but its hard to find

Fix Pokemon Directories
I saw it was marked as "Completed" that the pokemon directories were fixed but they really are not.
Can you please merge Red/Blue/Yellow, Gold/Silver/Crystal, Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Diamond,Pearl, Platinum:

Let's get Mini Painting added to the Categories list!
I'm a full time Mini painting streamer, and I know tons of fellow painters would love to use this category.
We've got a really awesome, engaged community on Twitch, and it would be perfect form of outreach to connect with fans of D&D, Warhammer, and countless other miniature producers. Mark a recommended streamer on the side bar as not interested
Please please let us mark someone recommended in the sidebar under the recommended section as not interested straight from the sidebar. It is so annoying to have a recommendation there that you want to get rid of that you can't. You're supposed to be able to find them on the main page and be able to mark not interested that way but today I could not find them there so now I'm stuck with the streamer in the sidebar. Super frustrating.

Add Virtuoso VR as a game category

Filter out Top Channels based on category feedback
I have set some categories to not recommend for me. When I go to Browse Live Channels I see channels with those categories and I think that should be filtered out based on the category recommendation settings on the account.

Nutrition And Health
Nutrition is a huge factor when it comes to health and mental health and its very important for streamers who have an interest in these categories pertaining to mental and health and im sure there will many veiwers that will have an interesting in finding streams and chat streams pertaining to these categories

Please add a 'Live Reading' category
As it says - there's a whole community of us who do Live Reading on the platform, with a substantial audience for it as well.
Be it books, poems, articles, funny stories from reddit, or whatever else.
Yet we have to use the category 'Just Chatting' and add the 'Reading Aloud' tag.
Given that there's countless categories for super-niche hobbies and content, a proper category for the most universal hobby in existence would be good (especially as lots of lurkers enjoy live streams almost like a podcast or audiobook anyway).

Allow Twitch users to customize Twitch front page
The front page of Twitch is overwhelmed with "recommended channels" and is great at face value but, what if a viewer could customize the front page of Twitch to there liking? To only see discovered broadcasts they customized with tools provided on the main page. For example, Viewers would click on a cogwheel per se and filter out broadcasts with a multiple choice of boxes that can be changed at will and stay like that until otherwise. Change the Model from Game > Stream to Genre > Game_Genre > Game > Stream + Sorting options
Hi,
Currently the model for viewing games in the directory is difficult to traverse as a user. I scroll through looking for quirky titles or just genres that I'm only interested in i.e. FPS, Strategy or DeathMatch, Horror etc and instead of it being this lovely categorized experience I feel like i'm on an endless scrolling journey.
As the title suggests, my suggestion is having the option to break the model into the following:
Genre > Game_Genre > Game > Stream
This way I can go from say FPS > Horror > SpookyFps3 > MrHorrorTV
Plus an additional nice option…

New Category: Breaking
I would love to see "Breaking" added as it's own category. It would have dual positivity as breakers wouldn't be limited to listing their streams in the most popular categories (usually IRL or Pokemon Trading Card Game, even when most stores carry a lot more than just Pokemon now), and the card game categories would become a more targeted/enjoyable experience for viewers looking to watch live matches of their favorite TCG.
Twitch added a category for Hot Tubs & Pools because it took over the IRL category, this is basically the same situation on a smaller scale. :)

Racing category needs an icon
A few of us cover motorsport related events (news, watch alongs, highlights, discussion), but we don't fit in well with Sports or Just Chatting. Since the 'Racing' category already exists, why not give it an icon (plus any other info, search terms, etc that is the standard)?

Combine SpellForce 3 and SpellForce III: Reforced game categories
SpellForce 3 is now a game with a shared launcher, and everyone can play together. Please combine the two categories so as to not dilute viewership.

"Not interested" option unavailable on promoted streams
As reported on reddit [1] a stream that is in a promoted state (I believe this is the community reward boost thing?) doesn't have a Not interested option.
Could this please be added?

Add The binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ as a category
Afterbirth is an expansion of Rebirth and is on Twitch but Afterbirth+ which is an expansion of Afterbirth isn't on it. Plus, the game is in IGDB. And there will be Repentance (which is an expansion of Afterbirth+) at the end of March. It will be weird to have every expansions on Twitch but not Afterbirth+

Add a filter to sort by country
I think many people is interested in watching streamers from their own country if possible, but if you try to search streamers sorting by country...well bad luck, that option doesn´t exist.
The best part of this idea, is that it doesn´t require a lot of work, because i 100% think Twitch already has data of streamers by country, so it is an inexpensive and easy idea to implement.32 votes -

Can we please add more variety into the discovery page for example I'd like to be able to find streamers from the same country and platform as me for example It would be cool to be able to search for apex legend streamers from the uk that play on xbox and then be able to sort by least watched so I can support smaller streamers as well as collaborate! I feel the discovery page is missing a lot of filters like time zone, game, platform, view count, total time watched, alphabetical even filters on the following page would be great…
