Random channel spotlight at the top of browse When browsing channels by game, make the top 3 or 5 channels listed random channels to help promote people who get less viewers.
As it is now, people searching by game will notice more popular streamers right away and may never look beyond them. By adding a random spotlight at the top, it may drive more people to smaller channels instead of big channels pulling in even more viewers.
Maybe change the spotlighted channels every 30 or 60 minutes, and add a special background behind them to stand out.

Give us some sorting options and let us 'personalize' our followed channel list It's already personalized, I personally followed these channels.
At this point I'm very comfortable with scanning my list of followed channels by view count and am able to quickly see who is online, and find whoever I'm interested in watching. This new algorithm has scrambled my followed channel list and also my brain along with it.
I watch plenty of smaller streamers, that's why they are on my followed list, and to find them I simply scroll down. Now they are scattered all over the place. I just don't see how this system is useful outside of browsing a category…

resin resin - I've found a lot of resin artists, including myself, doing this more on stream. Alas, there is no tag to share with everyone - that we're doing it.

veteran With the growing use of gaming as therapy for many combat veterans, there is a growing subculture of veterans on Twitch as well as other streaming platforms. In order for us to find our brothers and sisters in arms, this would be a great addition to the tag listings.

Advanced Search Implement a new search system with predefined and/or user defined tags like #lol #csgo #kappa #girlgamer #familyfriendly #twitch etc. It would be nice for a channel to have a handful of tags to identify itself.

Random Stream Button The discovery page lacks a "Play Random" feature. It might be fun and interesting to enter a random stream in a Category. It might help casual and new users find entertaining streams much easily and faster.
The user that clicks on the button will be forwarded to a random stream in the previously chosen category. To find another stream the user will simply click on the same button that will appear on the header of the page.48 votes -
Separate Music Radio from Music & Performing Arts The Music & Performing Arts category is oversaturated with music radio channels. Scrolling through to find live musicians and DJs is too much of a chore. 'Sort by: Viewers (Low to High)' is almost completely useless because the bottom of the list is full of music radio streams with 0 viewers.
At the very least, this is making the Music & Performing Arts category look very unclean. I also think this change is especially needed now that searching by tags through the main search bar is no longer a thing.

Combine the Neverwinter Nights categories These categories are all part of the same games.
Neverwinter Nights:
* Neverwinter Nights
* Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition
* Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark
* Neverwinter Nights: Kingmaker
* Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of UndrentideThere is also Neverwinter Nights 2:
* Neverwinter Nights 2
* Neverwinter Nights 2: Mask of the Betrayer
* Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir
* Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of WestgateCombining these categories would mean it would be much easier for viewers to find streams of the game they are looking for. The extra categories are just dlcs or an enhanced edition…

Option to add thumbnails Adding thumbnails to streams would be a great way for many viewers to come across streams that might be of interest to them!

A new category Tomb Raider: 10th Anniversary Edition Tomb Raider: 10th anniversary edition is a never released game by the original Tomb Raider developers Core Design. This game recently was made playable by the fans and is regularly updated.
It would be great to have it as a special category since more and more people stream it. Right now we have to use "Tomb Raider Anniversary" category which is not relevant to this game as "Anniversary" is a different game by Crystal Dynamics.
Some proof how popular and important Anniversary Edition is for the gaming community:

Embroidery Tag Hey everyone! I started a couple weeks ago my embroidery work. But sadly there is no Embroidery-Tag. I found tags like Crochet oder Knitting. Even Cross Stitch is listed. But Embroidery is missing. And I talked to some embroidery artist who are streaming on Twitch too. They miss the Embroidery-Tag too.
Furthermore I had some people in my stream who told me, that they started doing embroidery work and were looking for inspiration and advises on twitch. An Embroidery Tag would help them really out, to find what they are looking for.
Thank you very much in advance for a…38 votes -

Show all online Followed Channels automatically. I like the left side menu bar in the new UI. The only thing is that I always have to click "Load More" two or three times to see everyone who is online. I wish it would display everyone automatically.

People should be allowed to decide how the live follow-list should be sorted Unfortunately I was chosen to test the new follow list sorting. To me it really doesn't feel good the way it is right now. Often it just doesn't feel natural when trying to find a specific streamer. But I could see other people benifiting from this feature if it is implemented correctly.
The algorithm should also consider if the game that is being played by the streamer is something I would enjoy or not. For example if I really love watching XQC, but I hate watching World of Warcraft, XQC shouldn't get the #1 spot in my follower list. So…

Add back the Blind Playthrough Tag Went to stream and usually I will use Blind Playthough to note that a game i'm playing for the first time. This does two things, first I personally like to watch people who are experiencing a game for teh first time, and relive the journey i had through them. Second, It lets my audience know that I'm exploring a game at my own pace, and thats part of the journey and for them not to backseat game.
So its weird to me the sudden removal of it, When its probably one of the more useful ones.

Safe Space Tag We need a "safe space" tag, so that LGBTQ+ viewers can find LGBTQ+-friendly channels, without allies having to use the LGBTQIA+ tag, which jumbles everyone together. Without this tag, allies don't have a clean way to signal their inclusivity.
