1. FIX YOUR BROKEN WEBSITE

When on the main website, under the immediate games list (usually new or most popular), if you then click the ellipses and say NOT INTERESTED, let it disappear, and then come back an hour later- that same game SHOULD NOT APPEAR IN THE SAME LISTING for that user! Just because the game is popular (Let's use Fortnite as an example), doesn't mean I wanna watch it all the time. I've clicked NOT INTERESTED on so many games SO MANY TIMES that I (and possibly others who haven't voiced this) are tired of it all and we want it to actually work properly!

If you were to click on, as another example, Fire Emblem Fates' ellipses, and click NOT INTERESTED, you'd expect that to disappear forever, right? NOT INTERESTED doesn't mean "Show me again in an hour," it means NOT INTERESTED. It means that we don't want to see that particular game on our feed.

Conversely, if you leave a game untouched in that same manner, then by all means keep promoting that particular game. BUT ONLY TO THOSE WHO DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO IT ON THEIR PAGE! If Persons A through X said NOT INTERESTED in a game (let's say Dredge), but persons Y and Z did nothing to it, then why should persons Y and Z dedicate A through X's timelines? If A through X doesn't want to see DREDGE on the main page because they're not interested in that game, then don't force them to keep saying NOT INTERESTED after they already did it at least 20x the past month.

2. hide channels based on tags

There have been a lot of these requests on here but one thing I've noticed is that they don't gain traction while other things do. PLEASE, can we have an option to mute categories based on tags. Perhaps we can browse tags and click "not interested" on that tag and we'll never see any further channels with that tag.

I ask this because on the front page I always get vtuber suggested channels and I'm simply not a fan of this....yet ever single time that category is down there when I scroll down. There >are< no three dot options to say "mute this content" or "I'm not interested in this tag" etc.

PLEASE give us this option. Just look at all these requests asking the same thing. I don't understand why this hasn't been addressed yet. C'mon Twitch! Make browsing easier for us! :)

3. mein ghostwriter

Hallo zusammen!

4. goroshina

5. Stop including erroneous embeds in the viewer count

While it is good that streams can be embedded on other websites these should not automatically count as stream viewers on twitch.

It is far too easy for some businesses to take advantage of this by putting a tiny stream embed on a high traffic page that almost no-one watches, but which adds thousands to the view count of the streamers shown.

Not only is it just being dishonest with twitch viewers about a streamer's viewer count, but it damages smaller streamers too. Everyone knows the only reason this is done is because streamers with high view counts naturally draw in viewers at the expense of other streams, but a lot of viewers are conned into believing the view count is real.

I don't know how many categories are afflicted by this, but in the chess category it is disgustingly obvious, with streams of 100-200 real viewers showing viewer counts of 5-6k due to a tiny embed on a high-traffic page that almost no-one is really watching.

Some streamers also very obviously take advantage of this by streaming in the category to pick up the massive embeds before switching to a different game category to steal real viewers there too due to their artificially high view count which remains high due to the rolling average that appears to be used.

It would be much fairer to the majority of streamers to simply not include these embed views in the viewer count, and instead show the truer view count, as well as being far more honest to viewers. This is way worse than viewer botting that twitch seem to be strongly against, as it is strongly targeted at a small number of streamers.

7. Mini Painting

Let's get Mini Painting added to the Categories list!
I'm a full time Mini painting streamer, and I know tons of fellow painters would love to use this category.
We've got a really awesome, engaged community on Twitch, and it would be perfect form of outreach to connect with fans of D&D, Warhammer, and countless other miniature producers. This tag would allow us to use it as an umbrella category to engage many other users looking for content like ours.

10. Sonic 06

Sonic 06 is a very infamous sonic game known for it's bugs, I think it should have a category because many people do stream this game and it's one of the only mainline sonic games that doesn't have a category, so when people stream this game, it either goes to Sonic the Hedgehog 1 (because the two games are called sonic the hedgehog) or Sonic P-06 (the games fan remake) so that is my idea!

11. BUG: Blocked user appears in featured content carousel

An unwanted stream automatically played in the featured content carousel on the Twitch.tv home page. I went to block the user, and discovered that I had already done so a year ago. The user is blocked. Their stream should never automatically appear, and certainly not automatically play.

14. Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, and Attractions

Step into the ultimate thrill zone! Introducing the 'Amusement Parks, Theme Parks and Attractions' category on Twitch, where adrenaline junkies and park enthusiasts can share their adventures, live-stream epic rides, behind-the-scenes park tours, and connect with fellow thrill-seekers. Whether you’re conquering roller coasters or exploring magical lands, this is the go-to place for all things amusement and theme parks. Buckle up and dive into the fun!

We stream at Disneyland/WDW/Universal Studios full-time but have to use the generalized "IRL" category and get lumped together with those just walking around NYC or Tokyo. There are tons of people who love theme parks (or those who are planning vacations and want to see what's happening at the parks) and have no clue that there are those who stream at theme parks. We take viewers on rides, showcase merchandise that gets released daily, try all the new foods/ snacks, and cover all the seasonal events like Halloween Horror Nights at Universal. To have a dedicated "Theme Park" category to allow us to grow an awesome community with others who also love theme parks. Animals, Aquariums, & Zoos has a category, so why not theme parks?

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I would love for this to happen, I'm sure I'm not the only one. :)
