1. Chat responsive emotes

   A while back i had this bug in my phones chat, wich gives a really cool idea..

   The ability to randomly at times, and only thru the animated emotes on the chat, react to sound changing its image for other users emotes.

   Too bad we can't add an image or gifs for a best example.

   What you guys think?

3. So that viewers can turn on their microphones and participate.

   When there are less than 10 viewers, I hope the viewer can turn on the microphone. So, if viewers want, I hope we can communicate with each other through a microphone rather than chatting.

4. Reliable moderator status

   Currently, moderator status is unreliable. This idea is to have a reliable way to know if I am a moderator¹.

   Please provide a reliable message of changes to moderator status ASAP to the affected user. Something along the lines of the standard IRC MODE message—but that isn't affected by the MODE spam tmi tended to generate.

   Additionally, have a short grace period (i.e., when excess messages are discarded without resulting in a ban) after moderator status is revoked to account for latency in receiving the updated status.

   1. Bots currently have no reliable way to know if they are moderators (except in their own chats), so they must follow the same limits for non-moderators. If bots relied on the currently unreliable status, this would potentially open an attack vector to cause the bot to be banned. This suggestion is to correct that oversight, and account for the delay in the status update being received.

5. timeout

   it would be good if they gave you a reason why you got timed out so you won't do it again, now they just time you out and don't tell you why so you don't know what you did that deserved the timeout

9. Chat & Viewer Counts need some tweaking- the existing formula isn't a good representation

   Many Twitch channels are essentially podcasts, auditory ASMR, and otherwise are just fun to listen to. Sometimes people will also have multiple streams open in the event of a collaboration and be regularly switching back and forth.

   It doesn't make sense to only make a view count on the active tab when people are bound to multitask. I'm sure it is because of advertisers, but ads have audio cues as well. Not to mention, a lot of times the people who will inevitably be multitasking (because who can sit still for a 6+ hour stream) are subs who have shown their support for the channel.

   It feels disingenuous, and the viewer count takes so long to update that I find that for both my channel and channels I mod in, the number of people actively chatting and engaging with the streamer (so i know the stream isn't muted either) will often be higher than what the viewer count displays.

   To me, it makes more sense to have the viewer count align more closely with how many people are in chat, but then things like 'active tabs' should be analytics available to twitch and the streamer on the back end if they so choose.

   Not to mention, many potential stream participants might be turned off from a stream if the view number seems too low or the community seems too small when in reality people are probably tabbing in and out to participate.

10. Return blacklist settings to original place.

    Can we get the blacklist settings to where they used to be? it takes longer to get to blacklist and enter words to blacklist now. You now have to go into settings to get to it. Also blacklist no longer hides emotes like it used to. Returning blacklist settings to what it was originally would be really great.

11. Option to pay for just a username color change

    I really want to change my username color to another custom one, but I can't really afford paying the full price of Twitch Turbo just for that one feature. It would be nice to have the option to pay for that alone for at least a bit less. Of course any other custom change would also need to be paid for.

12. chat identity

    In the 'Chat Identity' menu, under the channel identity category where it shows your sub badge, the correct badge is displayed (12 months in my case) but the text says 'Subscribed for 6 months' (which is my sub streak for that channel). This doesn't sound right, as the text is probably meant to descibe how the user earned that bade (by being subbed for 12 months) and not what their current streak is

14. Your whisper was not delivered.

    Using Chrome on two devices in the same room, with more than one Twitch tab open on each device (Settings, my own offline channel and its chat, a channel I'm watching, the Live Channels You Follow page), sometimes whispers begin to vanish with "Your whisper was not delivered." This goes away if I close some of the tabs. But having multiple tabs open is standard Twitch life.

    Also, sometimes I am whispering to a mod something critical and time-sensitive, and detailed, and then the dreaded not delivered message comes. The worst part? The message has vanished and I have to type it again, while singing and playing music.

    It's the most frustrating thing about Twitch, for me.

16. resset top bits and subs gifted scoreborden

    My idea is for my Channel.
    For the scoreboards Top Reset annually.
    Why? I want my Community, they give something back they support me for a year.

    All the time ( if you turn this on, everything comes back. )

    I would like to see a possible present of.
    - All-time okay.
    - Annual TOP total Bits / Gifted subs total standings.

    For this, twitch needs to add an extra match field.
    Match top Bits/Gifted subs.
    Match field will be reset to 0 . every year on Jan 1

17. upvote and highlight messages so it stays in chat longer

    People in chat should be able to upvote chat messages so streamers can connect more with their viewers.
    People watching streams often share similar view on gameplay etc.

    For example: The streamer clutches a 1v4 situation but ends up dying of fall damage or poison or whatever :P its just an example here!
    But then someone in chat types "You missed a healthpack behind that tree" The message gets upvoted and the streamer see's the message and replies "Oh i didnt notice it, thanks i will remember that"

    Example: You cannot upvote your own messages because that would just be silly.

    Example: If a message gets upvote it cannot stay highlighted for more than 10-15 seconds. More upvotes extends the duration

    This is something i wish existed. Many times have i tried to type something to a streamer but after 1 sec the message is already lost into the void (xqc's chat) *Cough

    This will create a better relationship between the streamer and viewer

19. Create a chat group

    Would be cool a chat group together the normal chat like had a tool or a simple option that could find friends or new peoples to meet

    Being this option you enter another chat but in the same stream and with people who can now be your friends

    Ex:
    Normal chat -> click a button -> chatgroup( the same stream )

    If could draw the idea would be better but i think it be enough

20. emote only mode

    Please, Twitch, I'm begging. Get rid of Emote Only Mode!!! A few emotes are ok, but nothing but emotes is just ridiculous! I go to chat rooms to CHAT not post silly pictures. I want to talk and emote only is a waste of my time.
    So just get rid of it. That's all. I hope I'm not the only person who feels this way.
