   What Is Vibe Check?

   Vibe Check is an integrated set of chat guides designed to help new viewers engage with ongoing Twitch chat discussions in a natural and relevant way. It uses context-sensitive prompts that guide new users when their messages don’t quite align with the stream’s current vibe, helping them join the conversation seamlessly.

   If implemented, Vibe Check could analyze the vibe of a Twitch chat through several potential methods:

   Keyword and Topic Matching:
   The system might monitor commonly used words and phrases in the chat and attempt to recognize patterns related to specific topics. For example, if a game is being streamed, it could detect discussions around game mechanics, strategies, or character names, and adjust its prompts accordingly.

   Stream Metadata:
   The system could pull information from stream categories and tags (such as “Gaming,” “Art,” or “Just Chatting”) to establish a general theme for the stream. This would help the system tailor prompts more appropriately based on the type of content being broadcast.

   Real-Time Context from the Stream:
   A potential feature might allow the system to cross-reference real-time actions or speech from the streamer (such as what game they’re playing or what they’re talking about). 3. Clickable raid message: To enable reporting

   I would like that the profile card of the user who initiated the raid can be opened directly from the message that automatically flows into the chat when a channel is raided.

   There are trolls who prepare numerous accounts and raid for harassment purposes. Surprisingly, they inflate their viewer count using these accounts to raid, making the minimum viewer count limit ineffective.

   Streamers often cannot respond immediately, and moderators are not always present. Additionally, if malicious users set their display names in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, viewers have no way of knowing the ID of that user from the raid message.

   To enable viewers to respond to users abusing the raid feature, please allow the user card to be opened from the raid message.

   For example, when using channel points, the message that flows into the chat allows the username to be clicked, opening the user card. I would like that same functionality to be added to raid messages.

4. Request for Additional Account Verification Methods

   As a dedicated Twitch user with a disability, I face challenges with the current account verification system. I rely on a Skype number for communication, but it is not compatible with Twitch's verification process, and I do not have access to a traditional mobile number. To enhance accessibility for users like myself, I propose the following alternatives for account verification: allow the use of VoIP numbers, such as Skype; introduce email as an alternative verification method; implement support for two-factor authentication through authenticator apps; and provide an option for users to verify their accounts using official government identification. 5. UNIX timecode translation in chat

   One of the biggest problems I have with coordination in twitch seems to be the confusion over time zones. Saying "my next stream will be sunday at 2:30 pm CDT" leaves everyone in chat to figure out when that is relative to their time. What would be nice is something Discord has and uses, which is filtered UNIX timecodes, so for instance if I say <t: 1728388800 > then for someone in GMT it would show Tue Oct 8, 2024 12:00:00, for someone in Central it would show Tue Oct 08, 2024 07:00:00, and using other codes to further format it such as <t: 1728388800 :t> would result in it saying 12:00 (in gmt) or 07:00 (in CDT)

   I'm not sure what kind of tokens you would have to use but it shouldn't be terribly dissimilar from the same kind of filters twitch uses for emotes, it would just display based on the browser's local time differential.

   This would help me and my chat coordinate with each other more effectively, I could put pins stating when my next stream would start without having to convert to several common timezones and having people complain because they thought it was an hour earlier or later. Having a strong start to the stream is incredibly important in maintaining high viewership as the stream continues, so eliminating this confusion, I would think, is in the best interest of the viewer, the streamer, and twitch as a whole.

9. Shared Chat: Allow sending message to own channel only

   During shared chat sessions, allow chat bots (connected via IRC or EventSub + Helix Send Chat Message, both streamer account and bot account) to send a message to only the streamer's channel. With multiple users in shared chat, it easily gets flooded by the multiple chatbots.

10. Ability for individual users to opt out of Shared Chat sessions

    The new shared chat feature is great for collabs, but we have heard from some users that they feel the chat gets too busy, or they just want to see the chat messages from the stream they are in.

    Could you please provide an option for individuals to turn off shared chat just for them and only see the chat messages from the stream they are watching?

11. Allow streamers to choose not to allow people to watch their stream not logged in.

    I feel like it would be appropriate if a streamer could choose to not allow their content to be watched by someone not signed in. I know the person cant chat not logged in but it opens up the way for stalkers to still consume the content and just be freaking creepy.

13. SHARED CHAT - Stream Together needs MOD support safeguards & features to not show certain chat items

    Shared chat during a Stream Together session needs feature support to not show !commands or chat spam like repeated messages that may come from bot commands which don't belong in Collaborative chat experience.

    Maybe all secondary user accounts that act like Bot accounts should have to be be verified so they can eventually be flagged and filtered for Stream Together shared chat.

    While watching Dan Clancy's shared chat during TwitchCon Partner Party, it was impossible as a user to 1) read chat, 2) much less have the streamer even care or pay attention to a chat that had so much individual channel command usage

    I understand this is the big Keynote TwitchCon San Diego 2024 feature annoucement but I hope your Trust and Safety team is ready for the influx of Spam/Bot reports that will result from it as this will get abused FAST by bad actors & even more so by bad acting communities & top 0.0001% streamers who don't care about their chats really at all & don't have that type of community interaction. I could easily see people use Discord or VdoNinja as standard tools just to keep the status quo

16. Twitch blocking ability to chat when logged in via mobile browser. Attempting to chat constantly prompts to install mobile app.

    I don't know if this is a bug but on my old phone I was able to interact with chat while logged in on a mobile browser. On a new phone it's prompting me to install the twitch mobile app to use chat.
    This is a big negative. I won't be strong armed into using an app I don't need. A web browser is my preferred method to view and interact with twitch. It just seems like a coercion tactic. I feel soiled and violated.

17. Let me disable joining raids

    There is no good reason to not give us an option to disable auto joining raids. I like to leave twitch on when I leave the house, today I came back and apparently a normal streamer raided some subhuman e-whoring vtuber with **** out. Great thing for my family to see. Done with twitch until this behavior is fixed.

18. Typo in auto anniversary message in Norwegian

    So, the current auto message for partner anniversary in Norwegian is slightly wrong.

    Current auto message: "PartyHat Gratulerer med partnerskapsjubilum!"

    What it should be: "PartyHat Gratulerer med partnerskapsjubileum!"

    As you can see It is missing an "E" in "partnerskapsjubilum". It's not a big thing, but wanted you to know about it ^^

19. Highlighted Gifted Chatter

    Similar to the Giant Emote, Super Chat, and On-Screen Celebration style, this would allow a Gifted Chatter to have their name displayed in a celebratory style or a highlighted manner. This essentially allows for gifted members of your community to be displayed in a sort of pinnacle style for x amount of time. I can provide sample code to give an idea of how it would work.

20. Can you finally fix it, I have had it for a long time

    Hello, I have had a bug for 2+ days now where every stream I join it says verified accounts only chat, now the creator had it on then disabled it infront of me and it still says the same thing, now I can't verify my account because for some reason twitch isn't sending me the message, and I have sent the right number, I even copied it from the contacts app the number works perfectly fine. I read about it and many other people are having this problem. and from how I know the twitch team they would just say "No the streamer enabled it" THE streamer even said he didn't open it. SO can you PLEASE fix this because I can't watch streams anymore😭
