Creating Clips from the Video Highlighter This has been a thought in my mind for years. I'm honestly surprised this hasn't been implemented yet since this is a very obvious no-brainer: allow the streamer to create Clips while inside the Video Highlighter.

Support apex domain user names through DNS records Feature: The ability to create an account that has an apex domain as the name. This is verified through a DNS record for that domain.
Example of this: Bluesky lets any user set their account name using a verified domain by setting a value in the DNS record, this is what gave me this idea for Twitch.
Why would this work? Usernames currently do not allow periods/dots/full stops, meaning any domain based name would automatically and perpetually be available until someone claims the domain.

Ability to adjust audio channels of a stream, as a viewer! I dream of the day, when I as a viewer, can adjust the streams audio levels, each on their own channel of course. I find myself often in a situation, as someone who has a stream on the background and mostly listens while gaming or doing something else at the same time, that the music levels of the stream are too loud or if im playing the same game, well nobody wants to hear that mess either, right? Show date/timestamp on VOD Can we please get an update to just show the precise date and time of a VOD on the VOD's page, instead of the obscure "5 days ago" (which becomes even more obscure as more time passes)?
When viewing your VOD list, hovering over the really obscure "X Days Ago" label at the bottom right corner of the thumbnails does reveal the date that way, but on the VOD page itself, I don't see the date anywhere. At the very least, just make it an option to hide/show on our channel.

editor Please provide an option to restrict editors from uploading videos to our channel.
While I appreciate the functionality of the editor role, I never want to give anyone the ability to upload content to my Twitch channel. A rogue editor could easily cause serious issues, including getting the streamer banned.
I propose creating subdivisions within the editor role, allowing us to customize the permissions we grant editors, such as uploading videos, changing titles, or updating game categories.
The current setup poses a significant safety risk.

Option to block all without an account on Twitch I as well as a large handful of other Halo players are targeted by a clique of felonious deviants that DDoS us as much as they can get away with. It is bad for us, it is bad for Twitch, and I have submitted two requests for development of an ALL VIEWER EMAIL & PHONE VERIFICATION, regardless of whether they have an account. Requesting further ability to block stream-sniping trolls Not sure about other games, but for Halo: Master Chief Collection, there is a clique of trolls that hack the game, and sadistically DDoS streamers consistently. They can get a player's IP even if masked, VPN's work but the latency is already bad enough as it is.
It's disconcerting every time I see a player with a new account, they have no issues creating new, free accounts every time they get banned.
-They spoof gamertags/screennames, then fly around maps to force other, random players to search the spoofed names to report them (and get them banned).

Add option to download Whisper history with a specific user as a .txt file Although not strictly limited to it being for safety reasons, having an option to download Twitch Whisper chat history as a .txt file is a feature that is missing from Twitch. It would be an extremely useful tool for reporting any harassment that occurs, particularly if there has been a long history of infrequent messages. I'm sure there are other uses for this tool that are not related to harassment too; but it just seems like a feature that is available on a number of other social media platforms, but is misisng on Twitch.

A username AT user.twitch.tv email address for chat ban appeals and other stuff not meant for chatting public If you want to talk about reinstating chat rights to someone who thinks they've been wrongly chat banned, there should be some way to get a hold of this person, especially from more than 5 years ago.
So twitch streamers don't have to give out their private email addresses they should be given a public email address that ends in twitch.tv. , Maybe @user.twitch.TV to differentiate it from corporate people who write from twitch?

Help ordinary users by allowing us to access channel history data, for example its ban history, that we can access before subscribing. Sometimes Twitch might recommend a channel, and we go there, dedicate much effort to good participation in it, support the streamer by using the Amazon link, then for no apparent reason, suddenly we have a notice that our account is permanently banned. This could ruin almost one month of a subscription, perhaps even more.
If ordinary users have a little power too, to access a channel's ban rate for example, then we might know to be wary about dedicating ourselves as much to the channel, and perhaps not even to subscribe to that particular channel.
