banned users should also be banned from watching your stream completely
Or give streamers and mods an option to just ban someone from chat, or ban them from watching the stream completely.
This would be beneficial for multiple reasons, for example it would help battle stream sniping, instances of stalking, harrassment, etc.
this has been voiced on twitter many times, time for it to be voiced here too

Twitch needs to implement a feature that blocks the entire page, including all audio and visual features, for all banned or logged-out users. As someone who has been stalked and mimicked by a partnered streamer for going on multiple years now, I shouldn't have to agonize about whether I should change my name, leave, or live in fear every single time I use the platform. If Youtube can have private channels, why can't Twitch?

WHEN BANNING SOMEONE ON TWITCH IT ONLY BLOCKS CHATTING. BANNING NEEDS TO ALSO COVER WATCHING THE STREAM OR INTERACTING WITH SOUND ALERTS ETC. I STILL GET STREAM SNIPED BY BANNED USERS DUE TO THEM STILL HAVING THE ABILITY TO WATCH. I'D RATHER NOT HAVE THE VIEW OVER BEING HARRASSED AND STREAM SNIPED CONSTANTLY. MAKES FOR A NEGATIVE VIBE ON THE COMMUNITY OR NIGHT BEING STREAMED.

Recently I've had somebody who I feel uncomfortable watching my streams continually watching them despite my desperate pleas for him to stop. I've banned him and blocked him but nothing works. Instead of allowing the blocked person to see that your live it shows up with just your normal twitch channel without the ability to see the streamer is live or watch their streams.

When accounts are banned, they should not be able to see the stream at all. This is dangerous because stalkers can still view streamers. Many streamers agree that when an account is banned, they don't want them to have ANY ability to interact with their stream, even if it's just viewing it. Banned should mean banned from all.
Also giving mod tools to confirm a raid when it's someone we don't know so we can see what's going on or more protection when hate raids happen?

YES. ABSOLUTELY.

Then it would be the same as is on Twitter. Can't see the tweets because you got blocked? Open a new private tab, go to the page, done.

It has come to my attention over the last few weeks and in my own stream night before last that allowing banned users to remain in the channel is a BAD idea. I have seen where a few streamers are being harrassed on other forms of social media and even being recorded for said purpose. The night before last I had a user being disruptive in my chat, so I banned him. This user then continued to use the sound alerts extension to repeatedly play the alerts continuing to be disruptive. Much of this would be solved by making banned users unable to access both the stream and the chat. I'm not sure why a banned user is still allowed ANY access in the first place. Many other platforms remove all access by IP address upon the content creator banning the user. This is something that should be relatively easy to code into the streaming platform, and should be done IMMIDATELY!

Host ignore would be nice at a twitch level, especially if it was parallel to banned user accounts, but blocking a viewer from watching your stream will never be implemented. It has been discussed elsewhere on here, just look for IP Ban or something in the search on the right and you'll find that that feature is infeasible.

It would be nice to block a specific user to host and even view my stream. I worked hard to get my viewers and for someone who is mean to me, doesn' t deserve any followers or viewers watching my stream.
