Not force users to have to pay for exposure I noticed on twitter / the live stream about changes to twitch. There is some kind of thing where you can pay for more exposure? Not only is this inherently greedy, it's classist about up and coming streamers who are up and coming, buring them further into obscurity. View fulfilled channel point rewards Some streamers use channel point queues as records of redemptions across many streams. Currently marking rewards as completed removes the redemption from the streamer's view permanently. Streamers should be able to view a history of completed channel point redemptions.

When creating a channel point reward with a custom icon, allow us to only upload the 112x112 image and let it automatically resize Currently we need to upload 112x112, 56x56, and 28x28 icons when adding a custom icon to a channel point redemption. It's just a small hassle, especially for someone like me who's tinkering with channel point rewards constantly. The automatic resizing is already done for emotes - it would be nice to have it on these icons as well.

Being able to convert Channel Points to Support that Broadcaster Being able to convert channel points into bits to use for that specific channel where you collected the channel points. Twitch can set an amount that would be beneficial to them and the Broadcaster.
Being able to use the channel points to subscribe to the channel. I mean we are there watching and supporting the broadcaster but it would bring in more viewers and watch time if the channel points actually mean something and is useful.

Two-part data analysis to better gauge efficacy of boosts and reduce bias Evidently in trying to collect data on the optimal way to implement the Boost feature, there's a group of streamers that are getting the boosts and others that are not. This makes sense but to reduce bias, it may be needed to have a second part data collection where the group that did not get any boosts get the boosts instead, and compare the results from the two parts. This can help identify any biases, if any, and will be more fair (and thus reduce dissatisfaction of smaller streamers that we're seeing).

Give Streamers More Control Over How Channel Points are Redeemed and Used I will preface this suggestion that I am comparing twitches current channel point system to Streamelements since twitch feels very limiting and we could do so much more with it instead of resorting to a 3rd party to use channel points which makes it inconvenient for viewers. With that being said comments saying just use Streamelements isn't helpful, i'd love everyone's actual thoughts towards this.
Currently Twitch's channel point system feels very limiting overall especially when compared to other channel point systems aka streamelements.

Restricting the service to streamers who actually stream This entire idea of Boost this stream is amazing. As a content creator I am more than happy and ecstatic at the thought of maybe having this on my own channel. Although I see this tools usefulness in aiding smaller streamers grow I feel that certain criteria should be in place before becoming eligible to have access to a boost. Channel Points Twitch alert bug I have added the browser source to OBS and have an alert set in Twitchs own alerts service which should show in OBS when a channel point redemption is redeemed.
It is not showing. If I click 'send test alert' in Twitch alerts the graphic displays as it is meant to HOWEVER upon redeeming it refuses to show. I've tried all sort of trouble shooting and googled to see if others have been having a similar issue and there are many who are. channel point reward icon upload isn't working Uploading new thumbnail images for a channel point reward works and there's no complaint about the file size, until after I hit save. Then the largest size (112 x 112) says "image too large", and the save and cancel button both disappear and seem to hang. The only way to get out is to x out.

Let the streamer choose when the boost happens So I like the idea, but just a few tweaks. I like how the challenge can just pop up and we have a couple days to complete it, but upon completion can we save the boost for the future? Customizable json object for Channel Points API. The channel I mod for has a channel point prize for adding a song to a warm up playlist. It would be good if we had the ability to set keys and values on the message that gets sent for the channel point redemption message. So I could set like "reward: song" and then "url: {whatever the url is}" etc.

Logs for Reward Refund or Accept channels point During my stream today, a significant amount of Channel Points (roughly 200,000 total, including a single 125k reward) were refunded to viewers. Currently, there is no clear way to track who (which editor or moderator) performed these refunds or when exactly they happened. Without this, it is impossible to manage high-value rewards effectively or maintain the integrity of our community's "economy."

Watch streak issues! Hello, I’m writing this report/ Idea about watch streak! I recently having a few issues about the watch streak! The first one is I’ve been watching the same streamers when they go live right but if we miss one stream we are able to maintain our streak if we watch the vod of the stream we missed but the icon doesn’t appear like it usually does, yes is the same stream that I missed so I lost the 70 streak streak! Major Watch Stream Streak Improvements I think these watch stream streaks need major improvements for a few problems I have encountered since the watch streaks were started between November and December 2023.
For example: Almost a month ago back in February 2024, there was one streamer I regularly watch (who I will keep anonymous) had some internet issues on their stream and it caused a lot of people to lose their big stream streaks, including me, from a combination between the internet problems and Twitch combined. Gifting emotes So I have a lot of points for a streamer I watch but can’t really do anything usefull with it. I think it would be great if it was not only possible to unlock an emote for 24 hours but if it was also possible to gift another viewer an emote for 24 hours using your channelpoints. I would love to see this feature added. It would really improve the interaction between viewers as well

Opera GX Channel Points Bug I have no idea if this is a common problem with Opera GX, but I am not able to gain or redeem channel points in anyone's streams. It shows the button to claim the channel points, but when I click it, it shows an error. And when I try to use my existing channel points, they just don't work.
When I try it on Google Chrome, it works just fine. But when I use it on Opera GX, it isn't working. I want to use Opera GX for streaming videos so I can keep other platforms open for school. Please…
