I have had this issue with my Hype Train video and sound alerts since the beginning of 2024. When there is a hype train my alerts do not work when live, but all of my alerts work when I send a Test Alert to OBS. All of my other alerts aside from the ones mentioned above work fine. Twitch, please fix this.

This was posted 8 months ago and still no fix? This just started happened to me after adding new sounds and it’s so frustrating because my chat loves using sound alerts I’m going to have to try to delete and restart everything, hopefully that works. Super disappointed on how Twitch hasn’t resolved this issue 8 months later..

I am having this exact same problem. when i connected via restream, that's when it kicked out my commands. half of my sounds wouldn't work either. but i fixed that by reconnecting blerp. Still can't fix the command not coming through though.

This is exactly my issue too. Send Test Alert shows up in OBS so everything is linked up correctly, but actually redeeming the Channel Point Redeem only ever posts the redeem in the Activity Feed, nothing is triggered in the Alert itself.

Same issue happening with myself, as new streamer it is very very frustrating. I have tons of alerts setup through Twitch and every so often they just stop working. I added two more Channel Point Redemption alerts and it broke all of my alerts that utilize Twitchs' Alerts. Only work around I found was building them all up again by scratch which sucks.

This has been happening to me for months with ALL of my Twitch alerts. The preview works but the test sound does not work so therefore the redeem doesn't work. It's very frustrating

Yep, same issue here, started last week, would love a solution, might try make a new alerts group to see if that fixes things

I also haven't been able to get my channel point redeem alert working right, even while live. The only way it fires is if I manually "replay" from the dashboard list. So it's not a visibility issue (the test alerts show up fine, as do the manual replays), it's an issue with the redeem triggering the alert.

Turns out, for me, when testing offline only 'Test Alert' works, not the redemption.
However: Once I'm live, redemptions work just fine.

this started happening today, ever since they added their new "rewards" for viewers and disabled turning channel points on/off. but also could be a bigger underlying issue

My channel has this issue as well, except sending the test alert is not even working. Testing the alerts on the alerts page itself works, but the alert does not send. This has been ongoing for over a month now. I use Streamlabs OBS and have experienced this issue on both Microsoft Edge and Opera GX browsers.

Mine worked till a few days ago, channel point redeems don't seem to work anymore. I have tried using Twitch graphic and not my own, no luck, I can hear the redeem TTS on testing but the box alert is not functioning displaying neither the alert graphic or text. Have tested Throne Alert that works fine, but any Twitch direct redeems are not working. I use Stream labs, and have deleted the source, readded it, moved it up, down, created a whole new alert box, still not working. :(

Same issue, correct URL. Test from Alert page is showing up but when a reward is redeemer, nothing happens..

I am having this issue as well can't figure it out. Browser source is properly added, when clicking send test alert it sends through to OBS but when redeemed as a channel point it fails to go through to OBS. Mine were working until I added a new one, then they all broke but nothing changed. They are alerts set up to go off when certain channel points are redeemed - alert complete with audio from blerp and video I added manually.
