Please Start Allowing WEBP and WEBM Formats. They're Smaller! Hello Twitch staff!
Please start allowing us to use WEBP and WEBM for images and animations. I'm not just talking about emotes. I'm talking about banners and panels too.
These are substantially smaller file sizes for Twitch to host. It's a win for you and a win for us!
As a professional artist it's very difficult to animate with your file size restrictions. Please unlock WEBP and WEBM for us in 2025.

Show who made an emote (Attributions) on mobile On PC if you hover over an emote to see It's details it says who Is attributed to that emote (If someone is).
However upon expanding emotes on the mobile app (android and IOS) this information doesn't show up.I feel it defeats the point of emote attribution if a large majority of the twitch community can't see the information as both can be expanded but only mobile is missing the artists name.

Allow viewers to rent single emotes with Bits The Problem:
Currently, to get access to a specific emote, a viewer must subscribe to a channel. This system works well for supporting a favorite streamer, but it creates a problem for viewers who only want a specific emote they've seen in another chat. Many people don't want to commit to a monthly subscription for a channel they don't regularly watch, just to get one or two emotes.
The Solution:
Introduce an option to "rent" single emotes for a limited time (e.g., 30, 60, or 90 days) using Twitch Bits.

Custom Artist Badge Like the idea to allow streamers to customize their founder's badges, would also love the ability to customize the artist badge. A painter's palette is nice, but my favorite musician friend who composed my starting theme gets asked about images he's created, and he doesn't do visual art. Would like to be able to dream up my own badge to show that my artists could be visual OR musical.

Add options to emotes to "safely" allow more mature emotes I know there are a couple other posts about an "mark as mature" for emotes, but I think this could be expanded into a section:
1) [Default] Global use
2) "Mature" (can only be used in a channel flagged 18+)
3) Channel only (can only be used in streamer's channel)The 3rd option is also super-useful for situations where the streamer might want to create emotes that are extremely channel-specific, or be sort of an "inside joke" in the channel that might otherwise be interpreted incorrectly outside the channel.

Didn't get badge drop even when watching This issue is relating to the la velada v drop you could get during ibai's stream this previous week. Founders Badge Eligibility Automatically extend Founders Badges to the first 25 subscribers (instead of only the first 10) if an Affiliate later becomes a Twitch Partner. Currently, Affiliates can only give Founders Badges to their first 10 paid subscribers, while Partners can assign it to 25. However, if a streamer reaches Partner after gaining 10 subs, the limit stays locked at 10, meaning loyal early supporters (#11–25) never get recognized, even though they helped grow the channel. I’ve noticed that the global emote PackItUp has a lot of empty transparent space around the actual image, which makes it look small or misaligned in chat.
Would it be possible to crop or adjust this emote so that it fits better visually?

Founders Badge There are only 25 Founders badges. Can we get 50 or even 100 Founders badges?
Also the ability to better manage founders badges. Maybe to see the next 10 people who would be eligible and the ability to restore badges that were accidently removed. Also, to see how long people have been subbed for, even if they are not subbed at the moment in case they forgot to sub a month or had a problem with their payment.

Remove the TwitchVotes emote This emote is commonly used by scammers to trick new streamers with fake donations, tricking them into sexual acts. The emote makes their fake messages appear more legit. For the safety of streamers, I would like to suggest removing this emote. Example fake donation message:
"Has Donated 10$ Thanks for your donation! TwitchVotes"

Hide Emotes from specific streamers Let us hide Emotes (for ourselves only) from streamers we don't want to see or have around us all the time, without having to actually block the channel or even blacklist every single one of their Emotes, which can cause drama AND make the viewers, who have paid for these Emotes, angry. Let them use the Emote, everyone can see them, apart from the people who have hidden them for themselves. Don't replace the Emote with some icon, just completely remove it.
