moving chat to left side The ability to move the chat to the left side of the page so it's closer to my gaming monitor would be nice as a viewer.
My main monitor that I game on is on the left, and having to look to the far right to check chat is kind of annoying instead of taking a glance to the right, especially when trying to mod while gaming. If would be nice if we could swap the chat with the menu bar and set it to be permanent in settings.

FIX THE HYPERLINK/HTLM MARKDOWN FOR MOBILE BROWSERS So this seems to be a common request but it is not being taken seriously. Most people do not have the app and will click the link FROM THEIR PHONE and be directed to twitch via their mobile browser. From there, if they go to any streamer's About page and they have any hyperlink markdowns (or what ever the correct term is), they are assulted with the WHOLE URL of the thing the streamer is linking out to and it is VERY unplesant. This is STILL going on and it is almost September 2024.
FIX THIS! It is a HUGE…3 votes -
stories Please give us the ability to completely block certain sections we do not want to see. For example, Stories or Recommended Channels. Even a simple check list in settings so they can be toggled off or on. I specifically VERY VERY much HATE to see Stories clogging up screen space, and have stopped following streamers who post them just so I don't have to see that field pop up.

REMOVE/DISABLE Stories on the Profile Picture!!! Not only is stories REALLY annoying on mobile, and it seems no one wants them.
NOW the website has stories that are annoying too.
I ALWAYS click on the Profile Picture of the streamer I'm watching to open their profile to see their clips, vods, or other content that is there, in case I missed something while tabbed away to go back in the vod and see what I missed.
You replaced this function now with the stories. So now I can't even access a user's page without clicking on their name in the stream.
Why?
THEIR PROFILE AND STREAM…

Allow trailers for DJs The new DJs category does not permit uploads of any kind - which prevents users from enabling a channel trailer.
Twitch prompts me to use a trailer, but this is restricted to video stored on Twitch. I cannot store the trailer on Twitch because all uploads are disabled!
Please consider that trailers do not necessarily contain copyrighted music.

Go back to old layout Go back to the new layout.. the new one is horrible I just want to see the ones I follow in columns and not in a full window. And mixing in streams I don't follow makes me not want to use twitch much longer.

SlowCHAT 4 VIPs please!!!! @twitchteam I would like to have a slow chat for vips, it would be best if this is also activated when the normal chat is active, or if the mods could additionally activate it for the vips.

Ability for Streamer to Flag "Stream Ended due to Technical Difficulties" so Streaks aren't Lost My computer decided that a few minutes after I went live, it would be a GREAT time for everything to go belly-up. I felt horrible because I know some of my viewers were on 30+ stream streaks. I tried to fix the issues without reboot, but it was just getting worse every step of the way... I had to reboot the PC which was long enough to kill the stream and reset a whole bunch of watch streaks :(
It would be great if we had a way to flag "Stream ended due to technical issues" for streams that are…

Add subbed channels to following list Ive been watching/streaming on Twitch since Justin.tv I have always thought it would be super cool if we could add like a star or some indicator on the following list on the left side to add what channels you have a current sub to. Sometimes you are gifted a sub and yes you get a notification but who really pays attention to those? I think for myself at least and maybe others too I would revisit a channel if I was ghost gifted a sub and had something telling me on the left side list that I have a current…

Edit Panels: Put the 'submit' and 'remove' buttons outside of the scrolling area... If the content in the panel is long enough to cause it scroll, the submit button is no longer visible because it is below the scrolling content. This was confusing at first because the "remove" button was still visible and it seemed as if my changes would just be applied immediately or after I came out of edit mode.
Either place the submit button below the scrollable content so that it is always visible, or just don't have a submit button at all and apply changes immediately or when the user exits edit mode.
Thank you.

Aggregate calendar view for viewers' followed channels; encourage schedule feature usage + more Aggregate calendar view has been suggested before (https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/928429-channel-page/suggestions/46080367-combined-schedule-for-viewers), but I would like to expand on the concept and offer additional ideas aligned with Twitch's goals.
THE ISSUE:
In my experience as both a Twitch viewer and streamer, the schedule tab is extremely underutilized.
Because it is only accessible on an individual streamer's channel, it is inconvenient for viewers to actually access.
As a streamer, I have very little incentive to utilize the schedule feature, because most viewers do not know it exists and/or think it is too cumbersome to access. Those viewers rely on off-Twitch methods of knowing…3 votes -
Only Allow Logged In Viewers to Watch A Stream Please allow the option for streamers to force people watching to be logged in (or even following) to watch the stream. Also allow streamers to ban watching a stream all together.
Reason: A lot of Streamers are attacked by Stream Sniping and not being able to know who is watching your stream can really hurt reporting them through the proper channels or banning them from your channel.
This is very important for players who roleplay with stream snipers. This can really ruin the idea of the roleplay community especially from a smaller streamer point of view. Most RP servers disallow…

Folders for organizing streamers I would really love to have different folders that I could sort my followed streamers into, similar to how Discord already does it. I'd like to have a folder for my regulars, a folder for friends from the Women's Guild, etc. It would help me to tidy up my follow list AND feel comfortable following more streamers without feeling overwhelmed!

Problem of Localization of Channel Tags For now, twitch channel tags (Chinese) are only available in Chinese(simplized), which is used by China, Malaysia, Singapore, and so on. Taiwan users, which are using Chinese(traditional) fonts as mother language texts, are still forced to use these simplized Chinese texts for tags. Please consider these two language systems as different, and please add Chinese(traditional) localization for the tags. Taiwanese would appreciate that.
