  1. Twitch needs to make sure my Moderators can edit my Channel points.
    - Change name if necessary
    - Change icon if necessary.
    - Add/remove new Idea channel points.
    - Twitch can make 2 types of moderators option just like streamheroes.
    - 1 Normal moderator can edit everything.
    - Super moderator can delete commands idea or add
    - Moderators 1 and 2 cannot delete accounts, no insight into financial income.
This saves a streamer a lot of time as He / She , a lot of work. when one is live. We have stream moderators suffering during a live stream.

  3. The Ability for Moderators or Editors to change and edit the Chat Rules. This would be useful so that the rules can be updated on the fly rather than interrupting the streamer to make the change for you

  4. Before being given moderator status - users should be given the option to accept or decline.

Moderators should also be able to remove moderator status from themselves on any channel.

Too many times new twitch streamers are throwing Mod status at everyone that walks through the door, hoping it's their new best friend.

Where are the users right to just be a viewer?

  5. Hi,

Many channels have a trusted moderator that manage more than the chat (others mods, vips, channel points, extensions, ...).

Some channels belongs to two or more streamers.

But actually, there is no other way than sharing an account to give owner rights (which is not a good thing to do).

Please create an admin role with the same rights as the channel owner except access to payment info (bank account) and kick/ban/delete the owner.

Or, but it's more work, the ability to create custom roles with all the different parameters (it's a bonus, admin role will be enough to fill…

  6. It would be great if the editor's dashboard had the "lock-layout" feature just like the mod view has. Currently, there is no way to block the layout after you set every panel in the correct place, it is a little bit annoying because from time to time you move the tiles by accident which destroys the entire look of the layout and its clarity.

  7. Currently users can be given the role of either Editor or Moderator. These roles either give too much permission (editor role), too little permission (moderator) or don't provide permission for certain things at all.

I would propose updated roles (including new ones) that would give streamers more freedom and ease in choosing people in helping them manage their channel.

    New roles:

    • Stream Manager/Admin: same as current Editor permissions (replace current Editor role - rename)

    • Editor: upload videos, download past VODs, reviewing, searching, sorting, and deleting (including mass deleting) clips, setting channel clipping permissions, ability to add markers and all the…

  8. Hello!
I propose a new role for people who co-manage a channel. This role would have the possibility to add/modify panels, banner, emotes, give/remove VIP, maybe edit channelpoints rewards.
I guess that this feature has already been proposed many times but it seems so useful to me and posibly to many other people too.

Thanks to all the team, have a good day!

  9. Maybe a idea to give people with the editor role more permissions in a Twitch channel? For example edit emotes, change pannels, change banner etc. So a editor can support the streamer by changing things like that. Or make a different role for that. Because as a designer i always need to send the designs to the streamer and alot of streamers are busy with other stuff like there community etc.

  10. Hello dear community,

I also have a suggestion for role management:
Currently, as a broadcaster, you assign the moderator or even the editor. Unfortunately, with these roles, people "only" get a fixed way of managing or supporting the channel. It would be very nice if the broadcaster could add freely selectable functions to the editor. For example, using checkboxes.
In my opinion, the editor should also be able to timeout moderators in the chat or delete messages. However, the mod should not lose its moderator status after the timeout.
Adding or removing moderators should be left to the broadcaster.
    Exact…

  11. Hey Twitch Community and Twitch Team,

i edit videos for some streamers. There the problem often arises that you cannot easily make the stream highlights available for download because the maximum upload size via e-mail, Discord etc. is sometimes not nearly sufficient. Another problem with some cloud services is that larger uploads can only be made after completing a subscription. This means it often quickly complicates the video's by editing the streamer's videos difficult.
Also, some streamers have the problem of a person who only admits the role of editor to edit videos, because they have a lot of rights.…

  12. Idea would be to allow Channel Editors to contest muted audio in VoDs in the same way that Channel Owners can.

Implementation: Give Editors access to the same muted audio section and allow the editors to contest the audio mute on behalf of the Channel Owner.

Alternate option: Allow editors to fill out the forms involved and submit them for Channel Owner editing/correction, approval, and submission.

  13. Add an admin role to streamers that can add vip / mod. I myself am against quite a few places and there are several who ask me to add others to vip or mod. Therefore, it will be a gigantic help that it could be made so that an admin can give vip / mod to the people

  14. Editors should be able to delete clips from the link, not just the clip manager, just like the broadcaster can.

If you are an editor for a streamer who gets several thousand clips per stream, deleting old clips becomes a very painful experience scrolling in a list that only displays a small amount of clips at a time with no search option.

Deleting a clip that is several months old would take hours scrolling in one list making it unfeasible and the streamer themselves have to delete the clip from the link, because only they can do it easily.

    I…

  15. With the mass amount of clips that most streamers tend to have, it'd be nice if there was a feature for Twitch streamers to archive their clips to organize. Say, based on varied games, moments, specific things being able to be categorized to find clips easier for future viewing. This might help tidy up the clip archive and also help a streamer promote specific clips for their stream use/promoting various things.

  16. I get that the original idea of VIP badges was to recognize valuable members of a streamer's community, but the actual use of it is different in many cases and it is instead often used to give the streamer a better way to recognize users of a certain significance in chat.
While that may often also include valuable community members, the main use is often to highlight real life friends, acquaintances, family members, other streamers, ... and more.

The problem with that is the limit of 100 VIP slots that is reached at the highest level, and while that might…

  17. Channel editors already have the ability to edit nearly all stream info, such as title, category, and tags, but they cannot edit the Go Live Notification. When editors are preparing a channel before a stream, they should be able to customize this part of the stream info as well.

  18. I stream and mod for a couple of streamers. I think it would be beneficial for twitch to add the ability for editors to edit the twitch schedule. Editors already can edit videos, clips, etc., so why not let them edit the schedule? I think this feature would be really useful, especially if a streamer is skipping a stream and forgets to mark it as skipped; an editor can mark it as skipped. Or if on stream they say they are doing a one-time stream tomorrow or something, the editor can add it live.

  20. I want to be able to mod some people because they are in my stream alot and therefore are most suitable for modding in order to quickly timeout/ban trolls. However, sometimes they don't realise when they say problematic things. But I have a few mods already who know this difference and could delete their comments if there were a main mod role and a minimod role with the only difference being that the main mods have the power to mod the minimods.
