Channel editors should have the ability to edit the Go Live Notification
Channel editors already have the ability to edit nearly all stream info, such as title, category, and tags, but they cannot edit the Go Live Notification. When editors are preparing a channel before a stream, they should be able to customize this part of the stream info as well.

"Channel editors should have the ability to edit the Go Live Notification" to ensure that the message aligns with the content and timing of the live stream. This feature enhances the effectiveness of notifications and engagement with viewers. To celebrate this functionality, consider using custom mugs featuring live streaming or editing-themed designs. These mugs are practical for enjoying beverages while working and add a touch of personalization to your workflow.

100% spot on! I've used multiple streaming platforms on twitch and so far I've noticed a huge inconsistency in the "go live" notification aspect. I shouldn't have to open the twitch website and go to the stream manager to edit the "go live" notification. Seems like this is an API access issue. Yo, Twitch, Is there an endpoint for this? What are the parameters?

I am a channel editor who also has a secondary stream key that I use for streaming Reruns when the normal streamer is away or sick etc. It is quite frustrating that I can not adjust the notification text when I do these reruns. Please allow me access to this field.

Yes please! As an editor/moderator for a channel that has various streams throughout the day by different people, it would make things a lot easier for them and us if those with editor permissions could change the go-live notification.
It would also be great if the notification frequency could be changed. I believe at the moment it's only sent out 4 hours after the last one, but on the channel where I moderate, streams are in 3 hour blocks. I understand the 4 hour limit is to stop channels from spamming users, but the ability to change it to a 2 or 3 hour minimum would be helpful.

Allowing Editors to access and change the "Go Live Notification" would make stream setup much easier. Editors can access and change every feature of the stream manager except for the "Go Live Notification." Because of this, Editors have to alert the channel owner to have them change AND confirm that the notification has been set. Editors can already change the title, category, and audience of a stream, they ought to be able to access the Go Live Notification too.

I support this feature request because having the ability to edit the Go Live Notification would allow the channel editor to focus on preparing the stream, without worrying about what may be happening elsewhere resulting in a better initial setup.

As a channel who have several people go live on the channel but don't have direct login access, this would really help us out as they could tailor each notification for the stream they're doing, just like the title. We can't give them all login access, but we're missing out one being able to use a feature that could really help our channel grow. Would love to see this instead of investing time into making a custom off-platform tool that would allow this.
