How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

If you need help:
This forum is for ideas only. If you need help, please check out our help portal for tons of articles that may answer your questions. If you still need help, you can reach out to our support team in the help portal as well!

Appeals or commentary on suspension decisions, support requests, suggestions disparaging others, and non-constructive feedback will be closed without comment.

  1. Currently as a host you select your speakers once. However, if I broadcast those speakers to my stream, the audience can hear the guest, regardless if they are live or backstage.

    Currently Im handling this by having a single guest, and turning off my guests speaker in xsplit until theyre live. However that wont work for having some guests backstage, and some LIVE. The next workaround is to have the guests backstage muted in StreamTogether, however that doesn't allow me to hear if they are ready to go live or have other backstage problems.

    Instead, please have two speakers for…

  2. Basically this share stream button is another way to help your favorite streamers grow their community big or small. Each viewer get to share 1 time every 30 minutes so that will be 2 shares a hour. One share disappear each hour so viewers have to keep sharing in order to keep the stream popular. In a separate tab on twitch, you click to see which streamers are hot commodities. The total number of shares receive a flame beside it. The more shares, the bigger the flame get. You can filter by game category to help with interest or you…

  5. Community challenges should have the ability to add a vote option to the challenge.

    E.x Play a scary horror game...
    You can choose between:
    * Amnesia
    * Enderman
    * Resident Evil
    * All are good!

    This will engange the community more & at the same time be some sort of indirect feedback what the community likes

  6. Nowadays there are lots of content creators on Twitch with follower/subscriber camps of sizes that easily outnumber those of some who have already reached their partner status. Yet, these persons still struggle after years (if not decades) of streaming to cross the required average viewer boundary which would grant them considerably wider possibilites to fascinate the audiences of theirs and other people.
    I've heard from them that if their follower camp would watch their stream at the same time, they already were partners. That is a fact that it is not a simple task for such amount of people with…

  7. We’re experimenting with cues as a way to help streamers while they're live. Follow cues are a feature that reminds streamers to tell viewers to follow when they are live. Timing of these reminders are based on real-time data that tells us when the percentage of viewers not following you is higher than usual. We are testing location of these cues in either Chat or Activity Feed.
    We look forward to hearing your feedback!

  9. Would be nicer if the button could give an reason for the "Raid Stop" button

    Like "This channel closed the raid due is ending the stream" because is a bit ankward to raid a person and the answer be the generic "raid settings do not allow you to raid at this time".

    The raider could think this channel doesn't want ANY raid at all and never come back ever.

  10. Spotify has a really cool feature as part of their Spotify Wrapped for the year - you can view a brief, recorded video from your favorite artists basically saying thank you for listening. This would be a welcome feature as a Twitch streamer!

    Perhaps, like designating an uploaded video as your channel trailer, we would be able to upload a prerecorded video, mark it as our end of the year Thank You, and have that featured at the top of our channel page. This would be a great opportunity for streamers to reflect on their growth through the year and…

  11. Twitch Alerts Customization : Better celebrations

    As it works at the time of posting celebrations pull global emotes and the first 3 emotes from T1 emote slots.

    Expand the customization to allow streamers to just outright select which images are used. Do not just limit it to emotes, if its an uploaded image like the ones used on channel points buttons then allow it.

    Assuming that more celebration templates are added in the future this would be quite an expansive customization option.

  13. What if @twitch communities could “Air Drop” Bits, Gift Subs, Donations etc. during a raid?

    A Streamer starts a raid & a timer begins & the viewers from the channel raiding “Fill the Air Drop” (A Crate/Giftbox etc.) & AFTER the raid begins but BEFORE the support drops, Twitch sends an alert to the top of the chat of channel being raided indicating ”Air Drop Incoming!” w/ a countdown timer & pic/gif of the Crate/Giftbox w/ a parachute attached to it & when the countdown hits 0, ALL that support drops into the chat of the (small 🥺) channel being…

  15. Would it be possible to make a manual / alphabetical order sort for collections? Currently, when you click into Collections, everything is set by the most recent Collection you've made.

    The featured section allowed for manual sorting by sliding said collection up and down, but you can't do the same when you actually go into the Collections section.

  16. With the new update, we are now able to persistently display both follower and sub goals on our channel page simulataneously.

    However, it seems like the browser source for goals requires an update as well. Right now, both the follower and sub goals share the same url, so only one of them is actually shown on the overlay.

    If possible, please kindly split them into two separate urls, so that we can choose which goal(s) to display on the overlay. Many thanks in advance!

  18. Half the time I join a stream... I say hi and think it's live. Only for the stream to completely jump forward 60 seconds soon after. Why can't you just load the live stream immediately?

  20. For streams with multiple camera angles/screens showing at the same time, I think it would be beneficial to be able to stream them all as seperate "options" and have viewers individually decide which one to watch (with the ability to quickly switch between different options).

    (Example: Players P1 and P2 are streaming their multilayer game together with seperate computers, but on the same stream. P1 is building a house, and P2 is exploring. A viewer decides to watch P1 build, but P2 finds something interesting. Since the players are connected together on the same stream, the viewer can switch to…
