Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.
For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

Pushing AI features and the use of Persona for identity verification on Twitch are reasons for me to move away from this platform.

Once again, AI being forced onto people when it was never asked for. Whole idea should be scrapped

I'd prefer if they scrapped the concept entirely and fired whatever slop peddler suggested it in the first place, as well as every last person responsible for not immediately rejecting it, but oh well...

No AI features at all, ideally, but if it has to be there, opt out by default.

As a viewer, having AI integrated into the site was NEVER a feature I or a majority of the userbase have requested. AI as it stands is horrible for the world and also is proven to be heavily unreliable, especially for the cost it takes to run it. There is no good reason to have it integrated here and should never be added.

I do not want any AI features to be integrated with Twitch in any way. The reason I have remained supportive of certain creators on Twitch is because of the lack of generative integration. The current technology for generative AI is by default harmful to the planet and basic human life, it's also a financial wasteland as every instance of integration of the technology has resulted in far more losses than gains for anyone. There is no positive to this "feature" and it should never be added in the first place.

I do not trust AI, I do not want it anywhere near my streams, and I do not want it anywhere near the streams I choose to watch.
Generative AI is wasteful, often inaccurate, and erases human interaction. In an ideal world, it wouldn't exist at all.
If a viewer tunes in and wants to know what's happened so far - they can ask! And then another viewer, or I, can give our favourite parts of the stream so far, and we can have a conversation, laugh about it or commiserate as required.
Frankly, Twitch is about sharing experiences. AI is about dividing them. If Twitch uses genAI as a part of presenting streams, then what even is the point of Twitch any more? -

As an artist I have worked ******* my platform to build authentically made human art without AI or AI use at all. I do not condone using AI in any of my work, whether it be streaming, drawing, or watching someone entertain me. I do not feel comfortable with an AI scanning all that I do for a recap in which I, the entertainer, could easily provide if asked. I do not want, need, or have a use for this feature and need this to be opt out. This feature offers no value, no ease of use, nor any tangible reason to be added in, and I do not want it in any capacity.
Please make this opt out. I am begging you to not to have to make me find a new platform.

I would prefer that a.i. features not exist in the first place, as they offer nothing of true use or value, and cheapen the experience of streaming for both streamers and viewers alike. Not only that, but it actively harms a key aspect of streaming, which is community-building in being able to discuss the content of my streams with my chat and build up rapport in that regard. Features like these that are facilitated by a.i. makes the overall experience less enjoyable and more hollow. Likewise, making them opt-in by default removes the autonomy and choice from the streamer, effectively telegraphing what the company thinks they should do rather than respecting the will of the individual. It gives off the impression that Twitch has no faith in itself as a brand or in the streamers who use to operate their communities and channels as they see fit. Overall, Twitch should remain a space for human streamers, not barely functional simulacra made of ones and zeros with no empathy or true value to the world.

Do. Not. Do. This. AI cannot be trusted, it adds nothing of value, it devours power and water and brain cells. Let Twitch remain a place for human streamers and human viewers, not a place to be digested and regurgitated by an unthinking subroutine.

I don't want AI anywhere near my Twitch experience. It brings nothing of use, and I would rather talk to people if they want to know what happened in stream, not some predictive text making things up and potentially giving incorrect or even offensive responses.
I do not want AI near my streams at all. I don't want this feature at all, not even as an opt-out. I don't want it PERIOD.

AI is such a bad look overall, I'd prefer if twitch didn't use it at all, but if you absolutely must, at least let me opt out of it. I am very strongly anti-AI, and it would be so embarrassingly against my brand to have it forced on my channel, I would rather just leave.

I'd much rather these features not exist at all. Streams are such an interactive medium to begin with for viewers and the streamer, I'd always rather just have someone ask me or others in the chat what's going on than risk some horrible chat bot say something entirely wrong after scraping my chat/audio/whatever it does to attempt to function.
I'm tired of new features being opt-in by default and streamers not being involved in any kind of discussion on what's being added or removed from the platform

I'd go one further and say these johnny-come-lately AI features should be done away with entirely. Bubble must be ready to burst if twitch is joining the dumpster fire.
If for some godforsaken reason that's out of the question, let that technological scam be off by default, requiring manual opt-in, and optional so sane people can just go on with their lives.

Using generative AI is a sure way to give a bad impression of yourself and your business. It's not only sloppy looking/sounding, built on theft, and screwing up the tech market, it's data centers are literally destroying our environment.

Seems extremely suspicious that they were clarifying in the same tweet that you can opt out of the gif nonsense, but radio silence on whether you can opt out of this or not. Seems like an excuse to run your content through ai models.
