As is the case with all of these Ai features that are actively harmful in so many ways, if you are going to implement something you clearly know is controversial you MUST make it opt-out by default. The idea that someone wanted to be involved in this since the beginning and should have their streams taken for gen Ai is ridiculous.

Opting IN by default is a scummy practice that only serves to ***** over less informed users. Many of us want nothing to do with these new Generative AI tools, even less would be on board with being used for training it.

If Amazon uses Twitch streams to train generative AI, there will be no Twitch streams. Stop shooting yourself.

Do not have AI Train off of Streamers, and if you do, you need to make it 100 OPT OUT, in Fact the Default should be opted out, you should have to opt in!

I have just learned that Twitch is looking to use streams to train generative AI. I do not want any part of this, and neither do most other streamers. If we cannot opt out of this, you're looking at a massive exodus as streamers flee to Youtube and Joystick.

I know you guys at Twitch need to look busy when your bosses walk by your desks but there's better ways to do that than adding categorically unwanted AI features to your site. Better to get out of this now than to still be in it when it turns out this AI garage is all a giant rugpull.

AI features should never be mandatory. Better yet, they shouldn't exist. No AI on Twitch!

Very much this - let users and streamers be able to opt in or out! We shouldn't be forced to have our data be included into their dataset for tools we don't want to use.

I would massively prefer if AI was not used in Twitch. If it must be used, users should choose to use it. It shouldn't be something that is made part of people's Twitch experience by default. I don't AI to be part of my Twitch profile. I don't imagine anyone I follow will want to use AI either. If they did I'd very likely unfollow and discontinue my use of Twitch.

AI is such a mess of inaccurate and concerning data - I will always want the option to opt out of it when I use a platform and may well just leave if this is not an option

Forcing people to use features they´re uncomfortable with or even against is bad optics. AI as it currently stands will implode as hard as the dotcom bubble did.

AI is slop and destroying the planet, why buy into it? It has its uses (in large-dataset format, not LLM), Twitch is not one of them.

Keep AI out of creative spaces, period. If AI is forced you will see a mass exodus from Twitch.

I absolutely do not want an AI summary of what’s going on on stream. AI is not the way to go with something like this
