Using GenAI should only ever be optional IF allowed at all. I would prefer never to see GenAI use on this platform. Do not force AI on us.

Hey Twitch? Absolutely NOT. Under no circumstances should you be using a single iota of our content to train AI. We don't ***** over our content and put hours upon hours upon hours honing our craft and working through all the tech issues and building ourselves up from nothing for you to swoop in and steal all of that. You already make money on us off of Ads.

I will not tolerate being automatically opted in to AI malware. If Twitch implements regurgitative AI features, I will leave. It's quite literally that simple.

Plenty of consumers and creators are against generative AI, and implementing something like this is not a smart use of time resources or capital. Strong recommend against this move.

GenAI has never been profitable and has only been hurting people, the environment, cities the data centers are in, and making every single online interaction worse. This WILL NOT make money, it WILL NOT make the user base happy, it WILL NOT expand Twitch by any real margins. The hype of genAI is dying and with it, the companies championing it will collapse. GOOGLE posted their first losses in decades after going all-in on genAI. Nothing good will come of it.

What the actual **** is wrong with you twitch? No I do not want my streams being fed into an AI and if you implement it I will be leaving the platform.

If streaming on Twitch means that you will train AI of of stealing my likeness then you will never see me stream on the platform ever again do not train AI off of peoples twitch streams.

How about we don't implement genAI on the platform at all. The fact that there is internal conflicts regarding this should tell you not to go through with it. There is nothing good or useful about it, and all it will do is steal from the creators that make this platform worth visiting. Do NOT put genAI on Twitch.

"Do not implement AI" is being posted a lot. I think that's underselling it.
Twitch execs: If you start training AI on streams - and ESPECIALLY if you opt anyone into this by default - I will gladly abandon your platform and encourage everyone I know to do the same. This is a move you only make if you WANT Twitch to be completely dead within a year.
You have no idea just how willing everyone is to burn bridges over this. We will go absolutely scorched-earth over this and we won't even hesitate.

I haven't used their platform all that much to begin with and this will be the very thing that stops me from using it altogether. Fk GenAI and "Smart Features". They are a blight on this world and everything it touches.

This site only exists and functions because of its creators. foisting AI nonsense upon us will only drive people away. Small communities WILL migrate themselves to other places and large creators can and will survive leaving. The bubble has never been profitable and it will only infuriate the people who make this site function.

Even before it was public knowledge that GenAI is a disastrous fad with horrific environmental effects, it has already becoming exceedingly clear that it is also a worthless money sink that fails to return on investment - an investment Twitch seems keen on practicing sunk-cost-fallacy to recoup. They will not succeed.

The decline in your user base after adding GenAI features is both palpable and visible for those with eyes to see. Continuing your present path with them enables by default (or with them included at all, really) will be disastrous for your fiscal standings and your user base. Your best shot at beginning to correct your course is by opting users out by default.

I will not only switch platforms if Twitch impliments this with no opt-outs, I will spend every second I can dragging their name through the mud.

I'll still do it if they decided to use artificial intelligence at all on the platform.

They're going to suicide their business by doing this.
