Make all AI features optional, and opt-out by default.
For any features on Twitch which use AI, allow all creators to opt in or opt out of them individually, and set the default to Opt Out for all new AI features. We as creators should have the choice whether to use AI or not on our channels. If we do not want to use it at all, it's important for us to be able to have that choice, AND for us not to be opted in by default.

there was a time when bezos and his goons at least pretended to care about small creatives on this platform, i guess that era is over now

You actually want to make it "opt in". Opt in means it's off by default and has to be turned on manually.

Trying to use AI to distort reality and create chaos/societal collapse... Death cult fascist tech bro regime and pedo trafficking freaks. Learn consent *******!

Your interest in applying AI into Twitch is not align with our interest in improving the community(s) on Twitch. Especially when our consent was not asked.
Twitch is supposed to be a safe space to connect with people through streams, support creators, and cherish memories that make real impact. Generative AI will not be the same.
Instead, support our communities by doing what really matters: remove generative AI, support our intellectual property, and for once improve the search engine optimization. You know your platform's main advantages; yet your priorities are not aligned with improving Twitch.

You want artists to leave twitch and switch to Picarto or something like it? Those might be smaller platforms, but at least they *respect* our rights to our intellectual property.

We all know this automatic opt in was a bad idea. Gen AI is an insult to creativity. Stop scraping the work of humans to replace us. All you will get is a hollow shell of what you want and a loss of the beauty of humanity. The ethical thing to do is to stop forcing it. Twitch made it very clear in their statements that they knew that we would be opposed to this, and chose to go forward anyway, which is a slap in the face to all the creators who make their platform what it is. Stand up. Defend your artists.

Under no circumstances should AI be automatically "opt -in." When the terms and conditions are written such that no normal person can understand them w/o multiple advanced, an auto op-in status of AI is blatantly unethical. This "feature" (I use this word so loosely) scrapes, steals, catalogs, violates...the list goes on, so much so it is blanketly ILLEGAL in other countries. The fact that you have cowtowed and included any AI features, training, and scraping is so disappointing and, while I doubt you will, I encourage Twitch to do the RIGHT and ETHICAL thing and not just make the AI features optional and opt-out by default, but to remove the AI features all together. They weren't wanted or needed except at the behest of your shareholders/board members. This is by and large a creative community. Creatives do not want Gen AI anywhere near their work and it does not take an advanced degree to see that.

the fact that we even have to come in here and tell you how horrible of an idea this is makes me realize that the company truly doesn't care. a lot of streamers on this platform do art streams as a full time job, what happens when ai recognizes their art and copies it? you've now put people with disabilities out of a job once more.

All this AI nonsense is getting pretty dumb, What even is the use of this? To steal the content that streamers put in hard work to do? Congrats that's one way of losing all your content creators.

Since this was added and opted in by default, I have made another request for an indicator to show whether channels stayed opted in or opted out. At the very least it can help with deciding who to raid, who to follow/unfollow, and not waste a limited tag slot to let viewers know. https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/923383-creators-and-stream-features/suggestions/51649648-show-whether-channel-is-opted-in-or-out-of-ai-feat

I do not consent to having my content used to train AI to take over my hobbies when it’s already taking over our jobs and our ability to survive. Replacing people with AI harms everyone as people do not have income to put into the economy when there’s no jobs to have when AI takes over any and every source of income for people. Do not force AI on people without asking for their consent.

As content creators we should always have the final say whether we opt-in to the AI features or if we prefer not letting our videos, likeness, voice, art, all be scraped by it. We need it off by default

Forging someone’s consent is illegal, forging someone’s consent to collect their data is a direct data breach, and acknowledging that you knew that makes it worse. Have fun with your lawsuits, babe.
