"Auto opt in?" dont talk to me about Opt in rather how to Opt out by default i dont want no ai to learn of Streamers for the community by the community

When will corporations learn that we don't want to be in their AI plans?

The fact that so many voices from the platform are screaming out in agony against the Gen AI Model Training should really be a clear cut indicator that this is explicitly NOT the communities' desires. The fact that they wanted to opt people into the program immediately upon roll out is absolutely appalling, unamusing, and detrimental to the trust of the people who are the literal backbone of the platform- Please roll back these heinous blemishes of AI involvement, as this is unfortunately out of scope for reality.

Opting us in by default when you know that the vast majority of the community stands in complete opposition to these features is just completely disregarding our privacy rights. You know we never agreed to that, Twitch!

it's very unfortunate that they forced everyone to start out with the feature, especially when they KNEW it wasn't wanted. twitch seemed so much better compared to some of the other streaming sites but unfortunately they're just not worth it too.

You guys said it yourself that 'if it were opt-out by default, we wouldn't have anyone opting-in'. Shouldn't that be a very BLATANT hint to you guys that we DO NOT want this?

MANY of us have made it very clear that we do NOT support Generative AI, especially when you're trying to force scraping data from our streams/comments. Despicable.

They literally said in the livestream that if it were opt-out by default, no one would opt in. Well yeah! Maybe think about that, idk! Stop shoving gen AI down everyone's throats. NONE OF US WANT IT.

It's obvious they don't care about consent or it would've been opt-in to begin with. They are hoping to catch people unaware and to use their data asap and say "oops too late"

No one wants this, and no one wants to be automatically opted into AI. A complete failure to ask for consent.

Having us auto-opt in for the features is just shady business practice. AI is not inevitable. It's corporations making it this way. That stream discussion about all this was an embarrassment. You basically admitted to already stealing our information and when pressed on matters you either said "that's a good question," or flat out said "we don't know." Embarrassing and sickening. Do better for your creators and community Twitch.

REPOSTING FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES

I DM'd Mary Kish on IG sharing the same sentiments they were mostly ignoring or giving non-answers to during the stream. Her response was simply a link to an article about how Meta is scraping our IG content for AI and we have to opt out. The absolute disrespect and tone deafness to respond to backlash about this with "this other company run by a corrupt billionaire that supports a felonious p3do billionaire does this scummy thing you all don't like, so why are you attacking our company run by a corrupt billionaire that supports a felonious p3do billionaire for doing the same thing?" Their whole stream was a joke, they told blatant lies about how the data isn't going to be sold, and couldn't answer whether all of our content had already been scraped or not prior to us being able to opt out.
