Option to not save Vods less then a XXXX amount of seconds (Reason : transcoding ) When you start your stream we all know that during peak hours not everyone will get transcoding (720p-460p-360p-160p). As far as I currently understand the rule, you will get transcoding if there is a channel available with partners getting priority. So what I and some others do when we don't get transcoding is to reboot your stream a few times till you get it. This however can sometimes take 4 to 7 reboots.

VOD reliability Twitch VOD playback fails frequently and inconsistently. Sometimes I can reload and continue in progress, other times it returns me to the beginning of the stream. I don't have this issue with any other streaming platform including Prime Video, YouTube, Netflix, Peacock, etc.

stream ending early when i finish the stream, i looked at the video format and i have 15 videos from 1 stream. It also cuts my stream of early on the videos, so when i do an outro and end the stream, on the video its 5 mins behind and ends before i do an outro!

Clip intensity on VODs A feature that would show the intensity of clips made throughout the VOD, for example by color-coding it on the progress bar. This could be useful if one wants to find the most exciting parts of a VOD, or make clips.
In more detail, if many clips were created an hour into the VOD, the progress bar would be red in that area while the surrounding would be yellow/green.

Twitch Partners With Twitch Prime Or Twitch Turbo Should Get 90 Days VOD Storage Having Twitch Prime or Twitch Turbo really helps affiliates in that their videos on demand are stored for 60 days as opposed to 14 days. However if you are a Twitch Partner under the current system you don't get any video storage benefits as you are already given 60 days VOD storage. I think it would be more than fair to give Twitch Partners who have Twitch Prime or Twitch Turbo 90 days VOD Storage as opposed to 14 or 60. Complaint This is a complaint not idea I got done with a four and a half hour stream just for something completely out of twitch’s control to lose all my progress although hope hadn’t been lost yet because I had enough footage of it to make a video out of it so I looked and looked for the stream I had just ended and couldn’t find it. filter vod to remove not interested Please allow filter to remove "Not Interested" streams when browsing VODs. If we're not interested in their Live stream, we're not interested in their VODs either. It makes it tougher to find new content while browsing game category VODs.

No way to know who you were watching when VOD is deleted Currently, if you have a link to a deleted VOD, there's no way to find who uploaded it. This is very annoying. Say you have an old saved tab with a VOD you were watching. You open it, and it's deleted. You have to guess based on the saved title (if you have it) of the tab who you were watching.
A solution to this issue would be making deleted VOD pages contain the name of or redirect to the channel that uploaded them. Or alternatively just adding an optional (to not break existing links) param to the URL pattern…

Youtube like video library system for Twitch creators Twitch needs a stripped back youtube-esque library section for creators to upload their stream vods or edited videos. Most creators use youtube to upload their past and current content, however the trend im seeing recently is that most genuine creators are fed up with youtubes algorithms and minority of toxic members spreading hate and hurtful comments. If Twitch could create this idea i think it would revolutionize their platform and they would be able to somewhat compete with youtube for content creation. Thanks for listening to my idea.

Steamer should have a double checking system for VODs When streaming for the first time twitch should ask you if you want to add it as a VOD. If yes then it should bring you to settings so you set it as a VOD after streaming.

VODs in IPFS Transforms VODs into IPFS, they will never be deleted and with nft.storage you can upload files with 31GiBs or use ipfs.io 👍

Have VOD be deleted end of day rather than before the deletion day There is a VOD problem that started a month ago. VODs that were created on a Thursday, supposed to be deleted 2 weeks or 1 month later on a Thursday, are being removed on a Wednesday. This isn't for my channel, this is for some people, so it is somewhat random. Please fix this issue. Thank you

VOD Notes on twitch vods:
Idea born from the need to be able to express my opinion even not being present in the live streamers (mainly I watch VODs).
A simple and functional idea which would add a button with which it will be possible to leave a note and let the streamer (and the rest of the viewers) know what you think about a certain topic.
I think it's a very useful feature, which could bring new content for streamers and a lot more freedom for VOD viewers like me.

Keep Video Data on Twitch Keep Vod data on Twitch. Streamers set Vods to subscriber only because it is a nice benefit for them, but non subscribers can use simple websites that bypass subscription only vods as well as deleted ones and watch them. Which cuts down revenue for twitch as well as streamer.
