1. Don't show an ad when a channel begins to host

   Overall, ads on Twitch are reasonable and not too intrusive, but this one quirk makes it more difficult for small streamers to support each other.

   If someone ends their stream by hosting mine, I would like to be able to thank them and welcome them and any viewers who came along with them. But at the moment that I receive the host notification, I have to assume that none of them can see me because an ad just started playing for them. And if I host another streamer at the conclusion of my stream, my viewers and I don't get to see their reaction unless without pre-loading their stream, or watching the VOD later, or enabling an adblocker.

   Revenue from host-transition ads must be next to nothing, and this does not seem like something that is done to nudge people towards paying for Turbo because the hosted streamer obviously cannot assume that most of the viewers coming over to their channel have Turbo.

2. A 12 month subscription on top of the 1, 3 & 6 month sub options.

   Right now we have a choice of 1,3, and 6 month subscriptions i'm asking for a 12 month subscription as well.

3. Ability for Streamer to gift Twitch Turbo

   Twitch streamers sometimes have giveaways. And whats not better to give away than give out Turbo benefits (you would see the value of this if there was added additional 5-10 emoticons to Turbo features).

   Basically streamer could buy 1 month of Turbo and give it it out to someone in the twitch stream.

4. Make sub notifications optional

   Please give the option to hide sub notification messages. A number of people find them annoying, and you can't even turn them off.

5. Invitation mode

   1. Introduction
      Hello, my name is Erik and I have been watching on and off for about 2 years now. Lately, seeing how much twitch have grown, I have come up with an idea.

   2. Background
      Twitch is becoming bigger and bigger and there is a lot of broadcasters that have a lot of subscribers in their channels. Two years ago, entering subscribers-only mode would almost without a doubt kill spam from any channel.

   But today is not two years ago, a lot of broadcasters have a lot of subscribers. Sometimes, even subscribers-only mode can be a lot of spam and bring annoyance to the broadcaster.

   1. Idea Introducing invitation mode, a mode where specific users, who is invited by the broadcaster's moderators can talk with other invited users.

   3.1 Example of users who are invited by default
   These are the users who can talk in the channel.
   a) Twitch's staff, Twitch's administrators, Twitch's global moderators, broadcaster's moderators and finally the broadcaster itself. Per default.

   b) Invited channel subscribers and invited viewers.

   So to clarify, these people can talk in this channel by default
   a) Twitch's staff (wrench icon), Twitch's administrators (shield icon), Twitch's global moderators (axe icon), broadcaster's moderators (sword icon) and finally the broadcaster (camera icon) itself.

   These are the people who cannot talk in this channel by default
   a) Channel subscriber, channel viewer and Turbo viewer.

   1. Why is this idea good?
      Any broadcaster, regardless of size, should be be able to control how their chat works. If the broadcaster which has a lot of subscribers has a lot of toxicity and unwanted comments in their subscribers-only chat and wishes for a bit more of a controlled environment, the broadcaster should be able to have a chat room filled with their desired community members.
      Same can be said for a chatroom with a smaller portion of daily viewers. For example, a users has won a giveaway and should provide a link with the broadcaster's moderators, that person could be invited to this mode and have a regular conversation with the present moderators.

   2. Conclusion
      This idea could of course have a bit of finalizing touches but the basic principle is there. A broadcaster, its moderators and twitch staff should be able to control a chat room. This gives more options rather than just entering subscribers-only mode.

   3. Bonus (trivia, not sure what to call this)
      This mode could be activated by any of the Twitch's staff, Twitch's administrators, Twitch's global moderators, broadcaster's moderators or the broadcaster by the command /invitational, just like /subscribers for subscribers-only mode.
      Same mode can be de-activated by any of the users written in the past sentence with the same command.

6. More Subscription Options

   Twitch has a rather old subscription system that honestly needs to be updated. Patreon, a site that allows unpartnered streamers still accept subscriptions from their viewers allows the user to choose the amount they want to subscribe for. This system is very reliable compared to Twitch's. One big improvement that needs to be made for the system, is the ability to choose the amount/per month a viewer wants to pay. So, as a result, Twitch could have a VIP service where the more you pay, the more you are rewarded. For example, a person with $1 per month may get 3 emotes of their choosing, however a $5 per month might receive 3 emotes of their choosing AND include ad-free service, etc.

7. Subscriber spreadsheet

   It would be amazing to have a year-end spreadsheet with how many channels we subscribed to and for how many months per channel, as this would be helpful for submitting that information for tax reporting purposes. I realize this is mostly for people who also do some level of gaming for a living, but it's difficult to keep track, especially if you aren't able to afford to sub every month repeatedly.
