Allow account switching. I have a personal account and an account to stream with my trivia company. I would like to be able to switch between them without logging out. More importantly, I'd like them each to have their own themes--currently if I log out of one and into the other, it still uses the custom theme I built for the other account. Any changes I make with persist if I switch accounts again. Bind layouts saves to accounts locally / store them in the cloud but also allow users to share their layouts (or access any layout saved locally).

Implement One Time Code by Email When you sign up for a new account you are asked to input a one time code through email.
Please implement the One Time Code for ALL, EXISITING & NEW accounts when logging in.
Context: I do not have an active cell phone, I live in an area that does not receive SMS Text for the login code, therefore I can't use Authy either. I've been trying to log back into my account for about 3 weeks at this point with help from friends, but to no avail it didn't work.

Make it possible to swap usernames. It would be cool if you could swap usernames. I for example own a cleaner name than the one I am on right now but I gained like 11K followers on the one with the less cool name. (I wasnt bothered by it at the time but I am now getting to a size where I wanna take it more serious and the cleaner name would be sick). ALSO it would be cool if you could contact someone with the name you want and ask him/her if he/she would be willing to give his/her username to you.

Live Up Notifications does not use local timezone dashboard.twitch.tv/u/{channel}/channel-analytics/notifications currently uses what appears to be a California based timezone instead of the users local timezone like the rest of the dashboard. It would be great to see an adjustment to this to be streamlined with the rest of the analytics.

Name Change Cooldown Reduce the amount of cooldown after a name change, I have had to wait for 6+ months to get my name changed after I accidentally changed my name. I didn't get a reply from support after 6 months either, so I had to wait it out.
Even when you change your name you might not even be able to get the name back, which is ridiculous in my opinion. Having to wait 6+ months to get your name back and yet not be able to get it is something that needs to be changed when I accidentally changed my name…170 votes -
Logout on Close I would like for an option within security to log out of the application every time it is closed. I don't like keeping things logged in and forget to logout from time to time.

updates via notifications My idea would need to be an option that streamers can turn on and off; basically when you get the notification on your phone that a streamer went live one of the options is 'Keep Me Updated on This Stream'. What this option would do is periodically send a text update (via notifications, text being the format not the means of communication) of what is going on in the stream. Have the ability to remove CJK display names Many people did it without thinking and while I agree they should have did some research before setting it to something stupid for it to look cool for like 3 seconds. I would just make a new account honestly if it didnt mean losing so many stuff gained over the years of streaming and chatting and watching people.

An option to disable SMS authentication fallback after enabling Authy. SMS as 2FA is well known to be the least secure of the methods available but still a better option than no 2FA at all, but I suggest an option to disable it as a fallback after having enabled Authy to lessen the security risks to the user account. Verify someone owns the email address they sign up with, before creating the account I currently get regular spam from this site as people sign up using my email address, and I have to delete the accounts myself.
It would be better (and standard practice) to force the email verification to be a mandatory part of account creation.

allow users to view old Twitch account names after a name change If a broadcaster does not stream often or regularly, it can be tough to keep up with their channel. If they switch their Twitch username and you don't recognise it on your follower list, there should be a way to view their past user names to clarify who the streamer is. Quick and easy, Steam has a similar feature that has helped me not remove friends after a username switch.

After username was changed show an url or redirect the users the new user channel I renamed my user from kozakagamer to kozaka. Everything went fine, just the old https://www.twitch.tv/kozakagamer is not working now (Time machine missing :) ).
So, my idea is, that maybe it would be good, that in case rename an url should be show which points to the new page or the user should be redirected to the new. Maybe just for 60 days?
This way, if an viewer comes over fore example a stored url, and want to find me, he could easily find my channel without any guessing what the new name would be.

YouTube Subscriber Notification We all know that you can connect your twitch to your youtube account. By doing that, viewers that are watching your videos right now while you're live at the same time on twitch, receive a notification that you're live on twitch. I think it would be cool, if subscribers who subscribed to your youtube channel, received a notification when you're live on twitch. This is of course only possible if youtube would agree on this idea, but I hope that's going to be an option in the future.
