no Vip Label but it's great It was very useful for my little game but I would have liked a vip tag.
Except that it has served me perfectly. Thank you very much.1 vote -
Get Channel Emotes: return cheemotes I know this has it's own endpoint but would be nice to have them in once place
3 votesThank you for the feedback! We will consider this, but for now we do not have immediate plans to include cheermotes with this endpoint.

Add an `emote_type` "filter" as an optional parameter So a developer can ask the api for just bits reward tier emotes or the "regular" sub emotes
This applies to both
- Get Channel Emotes
- Get Emote Set

PubSub chat_moderator_actions topic should provide events about AutoMod messages being allowed/denied The old semi-unofficial API endpoint to allow/deny messages held by AutoMod used to cause an event in the PubSub "chat moderator actions" topic, which made sense because other moderators should be informed of this mod action. I think at some point it also happened when allowing/denying through the website.
Now allowing/denying through the website and the new endpoint (I think) does not provide this information to other mods. The only thing that is sometimes triggered is a channel terms action event, which is good, but it doesn't provide a direct connection to which message was affected (and it doesn't seem…

Allow Bot accounts, mark them and make it that they can't recive gifted subs. There are a lot of bots and some of them get gifted subs because they are just a "normal" user. anotherttvviewer, carbon14xyz etc. are all known bots and I think the developers of the bot should have the option to mark them as bots like in discord. It would be easier to understand for streamers, and they shouldn't get gifted subs.

Allow moderators' OAuths to work with polls and predictions API endpoints At the moment, only the broadcaster is allowed to use the polls and predictions endpoints because the broadcaster id must match the OAuth token. I think that allowing moderators of the specific channel should also be able to use these endpoints. This would be really helpful for Chatterino for example. In order for moderators to create polls or predictions, they have to go to the actual chat on the website to type in /prediction or /poll. If moderators were able to access the endpoint, Chatterino could easily add a command to bring up a window to create a poll or…

Wrong User I think at the very bottom of this page you meant to write User C because that's what that paragraph is talking about.

Allow clipboard-read on iframe for twitch extension I want my Twitch Extension to be able to copy text to clipboard. It seems as though that the iframe allowed permissions are limiting this. Therefore I request for Twitch staff to add
clipboard-read;
and maybeclipboard-write;

Add a new body value to the "Create Custom Rewards" endpoint to hide the chat highlights generated when a user buys a custom reward The problem occurred after the release of an extension game i developed, where the viewers could spend channel points to obtain in-game currency. With over 6000 viewers, the chat became impossible to moderate as there were so many messages per second. This very simple option would greatly relieve the chat in such situations.
E.g.: "is_highlighted" (defaults to true)

Event endpoints allow full history or specified time range Events endpoints like https://api.twitch.tv/helix/moderation/banned/events and https://api.twitch.tv/helix/moderation/moderators/events only provide a short history of events.
This makes it difficult when a 3rd party dev takes on a new client to collect historical data from before they started offering services to the new client. Answering a question like when did I mod this mod? Is not something that can be answered without historical data.
Allowing a request for as much historical data as available (hopefully more then the current amount provided by the endpoints) or requesting for a specific time amount would allow new 3rd party dev and single custom one off developers…

Missing endpoints from v5 There does not seem be an equivalent for v5's chat endpoints. In particular, there does not appear to be an endpoint for getting all emoticons such as https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/chat/emoticons.

ban event include data from helix banned events Include the same data as received from https://api.twitch.tv/helix/moderation/banned/events. Primarily event timestamp (time when the ban/unban action occurred) and the id (allows checking for duplication with eventsub messages already received when pulling from helix)
Add the following fields to "event" paylod for ban/unban eventsub messages:
"id": "1IPFqmlu9W2q4mXXjULyM8zX0rb",
"action_timestamp": "2019-03-13T15:55:19Z"1 voteThank you for the feedback. We will investigate and consider making these updates.

status casing for EventSub channel.prediction.end EventSub Beta for channel.prediction.end event/status should be consistent with helix casing of status, i.e "Valid values are RESOLVED, and CANCELED."

Allow getting realtime updates on polls/predictions/channel points redemptions through websockets for all users If would be very useful for chat clients or chat overlays to be able to show live updates on these features. Currently they are only available for the broadcaster (redemptions) or not at all through websockets (polls/predictions).
Ideally this would be available for all users to receive, just like chat is (which allows more simple integration into all kinds of tools), but even just mods using third-party moderation tools would already benefit greatly from this.
I included all three of those features, since they all seem to follow the same idea of only allowing the broadcaster access to that information…

Bulk data fetch for Get Subscriptions, Follows, Blocks etc. The current APIs max out at 100 items per page, and while this is fine for most channels, there are some where you end up having to paginate for a long time to reach the end of the list.
Given there is rate limiting in place, would it be possible to make an endpoint (or use the current endpoints and add an "all" query parameter) with a high rate-limit cost that allows for the bulk fetching of this information?

Ads status endpoint Please provide an endpoint that returns the following information
- adverts last run
- adverts can run next (retry_after)
- adverts max duration
It would be useful to provide better tooling for streamers whom have a contract requiring ads to be run.

Please provide an eventsub around advert/commercial informationm A number of streamers have re signed with Twitch with new Contracts.
Those new contracts often include a requirement to run advertsA request for tooling general occurs from the Streamer to a developer for tools relating to running commericals
Please provide eventsub topics that provide the following information
- An advert started, including
- which user/editor started those ads
- duration of those ads
- did it do picture in picture or full screen (if possible and if it's the same for everyone whom saw an ad)
- how long prerolls are disabled for
- An advert completed it's duration
- Adverts are cleared to run…

Extend Clips API to allow filtering by source video ID Rather than having to get all clips from a created time frame window.
It would be nicer to be able to get all clips from a given video ID. Both from a performance perspective and ease of use perspective.
It's then easier for editors to collate clips from a given stream for highlight compilation creation

Bingo Card Chat Interactions I am new to Twitch, but one idea I want to do is Bingo Cards with consistent game content (Character X does Action Y could be one of the squares, for example). Is there a way to use a !command to create the random card and track all players' cards? Seems like I'd need external website assistance. However, if this has already been created, I have no interest in reinventing the wheel.
ALSO: I want to make sure this will not break any TOS!! I want to remain in compliance.
Thanks,
JankaJoe
