Make Twitch About Gaming Again Please twitch make this platform about gaming again. I am tired of seeing Hot tub, "body painting", and exploitive streams on the front page. I do not even need an account to see this content because it is advertised on the front page. Just think, these streams are not safe for kids who access the website. Please work towards hiding this content behind a category page or remove it from the site all together. Possibly even create a secondary platform for these "content" creators.

Add a Category for each popular Game Engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, GameMaker Studio, Godot) Video game engines are software just like games that have their own category. By browsing a category of a given engine like Unity or UE, game devs can share their practical knowledge on the platform. In general, it would be easier to find other streams that are using similar workflows. By specifying the engine used in the category field where usually the game title goes, it would reduce the chance that the game development and game jam tags are misused for random gameplay streams.

Improve blacklist sourcing for recommendation algorithms Motivation: Having 1/3 of the user's frontpage recommending unwanted items is not cool.
Current situation:
While there is the feature "Removing recommendations you are not interested in", the "3 vertical dots" menu is not provided for the topmost recommendation made in the frontpage.
It is also the only way to blacklist recommendations too, which is insufficient to capture user's intention, despite of how crucial recommendation is to UX.
Proposed solutions:

Better discoverability on twitch My concept is to put more discoverability on the platform by putting a button along side the notification and follow button when viewing a stream and will pop of a side menu of creators that are like the channel you are currently watching. Improved Category browsing with Series and Remake support Add/create a data-tree style internal system to keep track of which games are part of which series and/or are remakes/ports/remasters of other games so that if someone wished to browse through, for example, all streamers playing any legend of zelda game, they could. This would also allow people to browse through, for example, specifically streamers playing Pokémon: Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue Rescue team as well as Pokémon: Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, since DX is a remake of Red/Blue. Favourite streams In the "Following" section where i browse the streams I follow to see who's streaming, I'd like to have a top section of streams I have favourited and below that show the rest of the streams I follow.
As of now it is only sorted by most to least concurrent viewers, but my favorite stream may not be the most popular one that I follow.

Opt out of automatically viewing a new stream There are times when I don't want to load in to a new stream after the one I was watching is over.
Some examples are when I am alt-tabbed and playing a game.
For me personally, while playing a game I will always experience a spike in bandwidth usage while the new hosted stream loads in.
Not all streams will use the same bitrate either, which is a concern, however I've not had issues with that problem so far.Another example is when I am away from the computer, viewing twitch as it were actual TV.

SMZ3 Category (Super Metroid and A Link to the Past Crossover Randomizer) I would like to add an SMZ3 category (short for Super Metroid, Zelda 3 - also known as Super Metroid and A Link to the Past Crossover Randomizer).
It is a fairly popular game with regular race events. But streamers cannot specify it as their category - usually resorting to specifying just one of the games it consists of (The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past or Super Metroid), which is not a complete description of what they are actually doing.

Delete duplicated Super Mario Galaxy directories With the recent rerelease of Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 on Switch the directories on Twitch duplicated. Can you please delete them and make sure to only keep 1 of each?

Automotive / Motorsports Category Myself and many other streamers do automotive repair, Racing, designing and don't have a category to do so under. I believe a umbrella cat. of motorsports should be added to help people find that content.

Include games considered a port I would like to have all games that are considered a port on IGDB to be included in the category list. The reason for this is that streamers cannot select the game that is more well-known to them due to geographical releases. For instance, considering that I am from North America, "Tetris Attack" is a game that I know about and not "Panel de Pon." Same thing with "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse" where the original game is "Akumajou Densetsu." I also believe this shouldn't harm visibility as non-Japanese regions most likely have not heard of their Japanese game counterparts.

Stop Games + Demo's from changing my category Everytime I start up Monster Hunter: World to stream, even with my category already set to the right game, Games + Demo's decideds to forcefully try to steal content that isn't theirs as soon as the stream gets going, and then after the VOD ends up with 'Games + Demo's' as the category.. Move Carousel for Promoted Streamers during BHM/WHM and more Higher Please move the Carousel higher for promoted streamers during Black History Month, Women's History Month, and more.
The point of this is to get more eyes on lesser represented streamers and having to scroll down the page defeats this purpose. Above even "Live channels we think you'll like" would be amazing.

Re-add "GTA Online" as a seperate "Grand Theft Auto V" category again in knowledge that a standalone version will be released this year Dear Twitch Team,
currently – we as the GTA: Online players – have the issue of finding others who also play it live on Twitch.
Back in the day, there was a 2nd category called something like "GTA Online" where, for the most part, you could only find streamers playing Grand Theft Auto V's official online mode.
Since this was removed, it's impossible to find others playing it anymore. The entire "Grand Theft Auto V" category is flooded by streamers who are playing on unofficial 3rd party (roleplay) servers.

Hide / remove live "Rerun" streams from "FOLLOWED CHANNELS" interface I'm watching twitch for the streamer and will never watch reruns, although they bloat my interface and are difficult to distinguish from real live streams. I'd like an option to hide them / make them less noticable when scrolling my "FOLLOWED CHANNELS".
