Include games considered a port
I would like to have all games that are considered a port on IGDB to be included in the category list. The reason for this is that streamers cannot select the game that is more well-known to them due to geographical releases. For instance, considering that I am from North America, "Tetris Attack" is a game that I know about and not "Panel de Pon." Same thing with "Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse" where the original game is "Akumajou Densetsu." I also believe this shouldn't harm visibility as non-Japanese regions most likely have not heard of their Japanese game counterparts.

Either way, the information to be displayed exists in the IGDB, so I hope that the displayed information is not too crowded. I think it's lazy for streamers to blindly trust the wrong information without looking it up, and I would prefer to see ported titles in a better way.

While I agree that duplicates can occur, that is a separate issue. This can happen with the original Sonic games where the 8-bit version of Sonic are ports of the Mega Drive/Genesis Sonic games as noted in this Twitch UserVoice: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discover/suggestions/45085204-twitch-category-name-collision
I believe this particular issue warrants some changes that Twitch must make should ported games be included in the category list. I do not think Twitch streamers want to go to IGDB to find the correct game title to stream and I do not see an issue with the way ported games are setup on IGDB.

Basically, I agree with you, but the translation can contain duplicates, which can cause confusion in the category search field.
Because the IGDB database does not allow duplicates, there is a possibility of conflict if the title of the ported work is the same as the original title of the other work. This is obviously a technical problem that IGDB could solve with some ingenuity, but it's easy to imagine a situation where a search would show multiple identical titles.
If you're an avid gamer rather than a casual streamer, I think (but annoyingly) finding out more about the titles on IGDB is the surer way. -

I agree that games considers as ports should be included in the category list. My example is the game "River City Ransom", which is a well-known North American title. It is a considered a port of "Downtown Nekketsu Story", which is the Japanese title that is not as familiar to most audiences.
