Create a LEGO or BrickBuilding category In the days of communities, BrickinNick and I pushed for Twitch to create a community for BrickBuilding. After some back and forth emails, we convinced Twitch that LEGO is a creative medium/form of expression and deserves to be recognized in the Creative category. Hooray!
Currently, tags have replaced communities. Tags created some discoverability but they are misused and often used by streamers playing unrelated games. A dedicated LEGO or BrickBuilding category would help users find more streamers building with LEGO bricks and similar construction kits.
LEGO is too broad of a hobby to lock into the makers and crafting category.…

Stop removing categories so we can actually find them when we search for them, or select them when we stream them. STOP REMOVING CATEGORIES AND ADD BACK THE ONES YOU DELETED!
START WITH NINJA GAIDEN 2004 AND NINJA GAIDEN BLACK, a game that has no category AT ALL anymore on twitch since someone who has no idea what he/she is doing thought the NES game is the same as the XBOX game!
FIX YOUR MISTAKE !!!
The funny thing is, that Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Sigma 2 were also removed, but now that those games get a PC release in June, they were conveniently added back as a category, EVEN THOUGH twitch's own policy says that different versions of a game…3 votes -

Add cyberpunk ttrpg category There really needs to be a category for the cyberpunk red ttrpg on twitch. It’s been the most popular seller on drive thru rpg since it came out. We’d really appreciate it. Thanks

Upgrade the category options for mobile streaming At the moments in order to stream from mobile you have to select a game title, but many games are missing from the selection. Instead of game titles can we stream by genre or company that makes the game?

Merge Pokémon Showdown categories There is both a "Pokémon Showdown" and a "Pokémon Showdown!" category on Twitch and they should be merged into the "Pokémon Showdown" category.
The "Pokémon Showdown!" title is incorrect as the official title doesn't include an exclamation point. As well, the description for "Pokémon Showdown" (no exclamation) matches what is on IGDB and is more accurate to the game itself.
Also, the cover art is missing for the categories even though it's included in IGDB (link: https://www.igdb.com/games/pokemon-showdown); this should be added as well.

Turn off View Count for a Day and move channels from the bottom to the top. I would like to see Twitch stick to their word when it comes to being a community for all and not just for the "Top" streamers.
I believe by turning off the viewer count for the public however maybe leave it in our panel, we would see a range of viewers going to new channels they never visited before. It would also help to see Twitch shift around the top streamers or channels from the bottom to the top to allow more visibility.
Twitch could call it a Twitch Black Out and I believe it would help to bring the…

Channel sidebar is scrolling down by itself After I click "Show more", whenever my mouse leaves the sidebar, it scrolls itself down. This is jarring and breaks all sorts of UX norms. Please stop it.

Can we get a crossword puzzle category picture? I've started streaming crossword puzzles, and it would be cool if there was a channel for that that had a picture. NY Times style crossword solving is different from all the games, and is similar to chess in how classic it is.
Add a picture to the crossword category! It'll be awesome!
Thanks!

Change the Stocks And Bonds category art to include women Change the Stocks And Bonds category art to be more modern and include women and BIPOC on the cover (or feature no people at all).
It is currently all men in suits, and perpetuates the traditional idea that finance is only for men. Thanks!

Search GQL err When performing certain searches rather than returning the "No results found for..." message, for certain searches the message "An error has occurred, please try again." is displayed.
The GQL error that is received for the search request is "graphql: got nil for non-null \"SearchForItem\"
An example of this is when searching for "Pretend You're Xyzzy", but it's not specific to that search.

A new category: Business & Innovation With Covid-19 having such a devastating impact on the small and medium businesses around the world, entrepreneurs both new and old will be starting businesses or rebuilding old businesses to help jump-start the economy.
Buy adding a new category called "Business & Innovation", entrepreneurs that are new to business or well seasoned business professionals can share their ideas, innovations, tips, tricks and business knowledge or experience.
This category will be extremely helpful to help people succeed with the business ventures that can help rebuild the livelihood of their families and the economy.
Thanks,

Organizing Lists Option I follow alot of streamers and love supporting them! But it would be amazing to have a way to create lists or groups and organize streamers into them. Like a classic Favourites list but also a way to may organize all the art streamers into one list and the game streamers into another. Also a Friend's list so if you have friended anyone they may show up in a different list. I just find it hard to go on and see 50 people live and try and find what I'm looking for.

Add different options for sign language user As more and more people are stalting to talk about sign language on Twitch, an d indifferent countries, sometimes the categories don't really allow us to say what we're streaming. Sign language is also a language that has a hard time getting recognized round the world, so streams about that would help in a way.
Some people are also tutoring, and I nnoticed there an "American Sign language tutor" category already, so adding them for other sign languages makes sense.

Two Categories I think that Streamers should be able to choose up to two categories at a time. For me personally, this would mean being able to choose both the ASMR category as well as the Stardew Valley category, as my stream is both of these things. Another example would be people who play retro games. They would be able to categorize their streams as both Retro and whatever game they may be playing.
This way, you wouldn't have to sacrifice exposure by picking between two possible categories. There are games that people play that do not have a lot of followers.…14 votes -
I want to be able to find new streamers that are local to me (in my time zone) I have recently started watching streams but all of the streamers I have found have been in the US and are streaming at times I am not able to watch.
I want to be able to search for streamers using my time zone or multiple time zones as well as what they stream, if they stream with other people and how many subscribers/followers they have.
This way I can find small streamers that are in my time zone and play games I want to see.4 votes
