Ability to organize followed channels tab in desktop A bunch of people follow a lot of channels, but some of those channels are more active than others, and some are more important to viewers than others, but the follow list only has two options, one of which is obsolete if no one is streaming.
I constantly have to scroll far down to get to the streamer I often will watch, because I sit in chat when its scheduled and not started. Allow people to adjust and reorder that tab so they can put the streamers they watch most at the top, or perhaps one where the streamers they…3 votes -
Crypto&Trading I propose adding a new category to Twitch — "Crypto&Trading". Currently, crypto enthusiasts are forced to stream in a category related to a game, which poorly reflects the essence of cryptocurrency and trading content. The community is growing rapidly, and a dedicated category would help unite high-quality educational and analytical streams, attract new viewers, and provide a platform for discussing financial trends. This topic is in demand and deserves its own niche on Twitch.

Category: Trading Cards We need a general category for trading cards. No matter whether Topps or Panini, whether Pokemon, Soccer or other Sport's and non Sport's Card. No matter if you just want to talk about it, open boxes or boosters or want to trade cards. People have been enthusiastic about trading cards for over 50 years and boxes are opened every day. Why is there no category yet where streamers and viewers can find each other?

Cannon Guys Dear Twitch Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I would like to request the addition of "Cannon Guys" as a new game category on Twitch. This game has recently been released on mobile platforms and is rapidly gaining popularity among players and content creators.
Why "Cannon Guys" Deserves a Category on Twitch:
Growing Popularity: The game is experiencing a surge in downloads and engagement, indicating strong player interest. Many gamers are looking for content related to "Cannon Guys," but there is currently no dedicated category on Twitch.Content Creation Potential: The game features engaging multiplayer mechanics, strategic gameplay,…

How to save clips from Twitch quickly and without losing quality? Sometimes I see cool moments on Twitch and want to save them, but many services either reduce the quality or download videos slowly. Who uses what? I need something convenient, without adverts and with normal speed. It is important to be able to download long clips without restrictions.

notification for categories Why as a viewer can I get notified when a certain streamer goes online but not for categories?
I'm a small streamer and would like to stream retro games. In most of the categories I see like circa 500 likes - but that doesn't help me at all, when those people don't get notified when someone actually streams in those categories.
Smaller categories could help smaller streamers build an audience. But that's only the case if viewers can get notified when someone actually streams those smaller categories.

Exception for a "Game Mod" to show in the Twitch category list as a Main Game Dear IGDB Team,
Our community recently added our open-source game remake 2004Scape to IGDB. However, it was incorrectly categorized as a mod rather than a standalone game. While we understand that it is unofficial, it is not a mod and it is a complete, independent remake. Unfortunately, this misclassification limits visibility for our project and its content creators, preventing us from establishing a distinct identity separate from the official game.
We respectfully request that 2004Scape be recognized with its own category, ensuring our community has a dedicated space apart from the official game listing. We are not seeking to advertise…

Pinball Pinball
Edit: It looks like the Pinball located at https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/pinball-2 shows up in searches again. Thank you.
Can we get a generic "Pinball" or "Pinball (Mechanical)" category?
The Pinball category that most of the community streams in at (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/pinball) was apparently linked to the Pinball (2017) Wii U game on IGDB.
A few requests for edits to change the information to reflect just generic Pinball as a category were denied. One reason said it was a duplicate. A second reason was that it belonged to the Wii U game (I've never seen anyone stream Wii U Pinball, but…

Duplicate category for While Waiting - Optillusion games It seems there is a category issue for the While Waiting game.
When streamers play our game (the yellow one - Optillusion) https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/while-waiting, it's another While Waiting that appears https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/while-waiting-1/videos/all.
Would it be possible to fix this bug?
Thanks!

Please add a Shogi category! Please add a Shogi category!
Thank you for your continued support.
We would like to request that you add “Shogi” to the Twitch categories.
Currently, Twitch does not have a category for the board game “Shogi” and we are unable to select the appropriate category when broadcasting Shogi.
Shogi is a board game that is popular among many people in Japan and abroad, and is being actively distributed through online game sites such as “81dojo”.
However, when distributing Shogi, viewers have no choice but to select other game categories or chat categories, making it difficult for viewers to find Shogi…

Request to Add a “Hangout” Category We’d love to request a new "Hangout" category on Twitch to support streamers who broadcast their Hangout.fm rooms and other interactive, real-time social experiences.
Why a "Hangout" Category?
Twitch has evolved beyond gaming, with communities embracing live, interactive hangout spaces. Many streamers are now broadcasting their Hangout.fm rooms, where they host real-time music listening parties, engage with their audience, and create collaborative social experiences.A dedicated Hangout category would:
- Provide a home for streamers broadcasting Hangout.fm rooms 🎧
- Improve discoverability for interactive social streams 🎤
- Help viewers find and engage with community-driven listening parties 🎶
- Expand Twitch’s role as a…

Merci beaucoup !

Content preferences by filtering out unwanted Tags Why can I not moderate my own content on Twitch via tags?
Why is it not possible to add or delete them via the content preferences if I don't want certain tags to show up in my feed e.g 'asmr', 'vtuber', etc?

"Just Testing" Category (play on Just Chatting) For troubleshooting tech issues while streaming. The worst...
"Just Testing" streaming category to indicate that the stream will be for testing purposes, e.g. chat feedback may be allowed and/or requested for volume levels; technical work will be the primary purpose of the stream.
This would also allow knowledgeable, helpful viewers (Twitch Staff, StreamElements, Streamlabs, and other brand channels, etc.) to offer help to streamers in need of assistance.
Brand ambassadors on Social Media have generated some wildly entertaining content in recent years - Imagine that evolving, unfolding live along with an entire community of Twitch viewers involved :)

A Photography Catagory, or at least a sub-catagory within Art. I'm a photographer and stream here on Twitch, and feel that photography is a populated enough community to warrant its own category to stream under. There is nothing at all that Ive found for photography specifically. Thanks for your consideration.

Classic Console category Twitch needs categories for Classic Consoles. Like Plastation 1, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Atari, Sega ect... If I stream on a old console I'd like to be able to switch from obscure game to obscure game without needing to change the category. As well no one will likely be searching to watch the obscure game that I'm playing. It would be nice just to start streaming on the Playstation 1 category and anyone that wants to watch someone play classic Playstation games would just select that category. Or if having a category for every console is too much then maybe…

contend classification Recently, Twitch has started to forcibly install content classification tags - gambling.
Due to the installation of this tag, a bug occurs:
viewers from the Russia region stop seeing this channel, as in the subscription panel of their channels, they do not see the broadcast that is online, they cannot open it and confirm the desire to watch such content.
Please re-watch and fix this bug - displaying channels for the Russia region with the content classification - gambling95 votes -
