3. What is wrong with the sorting of the Followed Channels list

   I'm specifically talking about the "recommended" option, because sorting high to low is fine but often not what we want, and recommended is the only other option.

   I am a viewer on twitch daily, I watch multiple channels but I do not watch a lot of every channel I follow.

   What I've noticed is that a channel watch daily every time they're live but gets 10 viewers or less is ALWAYS at the bottom of the list. This streamer also plays the same game I stream and the same game I watch a lot of.

   Other channels with more viewers or sometimes also less than 10 viewers that also play games I don't play are always much higher up on the list. Some channels I follow but almost never watch are higher up.

   What in the world? How can that be the recommended order of followed channels?

   It's like twitch wants me to start unfollowing channels to fix this list. There are plenty of good suggestions, some with very obvious solutions in this category, some of which were made over a year ago.

   Does submitting feedback to twitch with very simple solutions - even as simple as sorting low to high - still work?

   If twitch can't implement such a simple workaround as low to high sorting, how can anyone believe that "recommended" can give a viable result?

8. Require 24/7 channels to be in the "Always On" or "Music" categories

   Some categories, especially the Super Mario 64 one, have been flooded by 24/7 channels with the sole purpose of generating revenue. They clog up the directory and make it harder to find live content. A lot of these channels exist purely to be raided into and farm AFK viewers, and a majority of the community dislike them and want them elsewhere. I'm sure advertisers also wouldn't like paying for ads being played to AFK people. Having these channels be required to be in "Always On" or "Music" (for the 24/7 Music streams, there may be other categories that should have exceptions) would help debloat the directory and discourage making as many channels as possible for extra revenue. Being able to report these streams for being in the wrong category to get them forcibly moved would be amazing. I'm aware this is an issue in some other categories, but I'm most familiar with it in Super Mario 64. We have a great speedrunning community and most people talk with each other outside of Twitch. Many of us have expressed frustration with these channels, and also worry it promotes isolating yourself instead of interacting with the wider community as many of the people who have these 24/7 channels are incentivized to raid into them instead of others. Marathon events and such should be excluded. As long as the content is LIVE it should be allowed in whatever directory, but if it's a rerun channel it should be in "Always On". For example, Games Done Quick should be able to be in the directory of whatever game is currently being showcased, assuming it's a live event.

10. Remove or ignore recommendations

    Please provide a clear an surefire way of ignoring and removing channels from the recommended section. It is extremely annoying when certain streamers I have 0 interest in keep being at the top. I assume this is because your recommendations are based on what users of your current watched channels also watch but it is in no way helpful if there is no way to remove unwanted streamers from being recommended.

11. Separate voice and music volume sliders in the stream player

    Separate voice and music volume sliders in the stream player. Music can be muted in the vod, so why not add a volume slider for the music channel in the stream player itself? This would allow for users to lower or mute music, while still hearing the streamer's voice. This feature could be hidden in the settings or by right clicking, to not interfere with the default volume slider that encompasses both voice and music.

14. Anthology of the Killer - Excessively Granular Categories

    Anthology of the Killer (2024) (PC/Steam) is, to my mind, a single game that is divided into 10 chapters and a bonus chapter. However, if one attempts to set their stream category to "Anthology of the Killer" one will rapidly discover that the category does not exist. The game is on IGDB but it is classified as a "Bundle." The names of the 10 individual chapters within the game are the available "categories" as they exist on Twitch. This is a deeply unhelpful level of atomization that genuinely makes no sense from any perspective.

    To begin with, is Anthology of the Killer actually a "bundle" and what does that really mean from the IGDB perspective? The individual chapters, Voice of the Killer, Hand of the Killer, etc have never---at least in as far as I can tell--been released as individual games on Steam nor have they been released individually on Itch.io. If one wishes to play them, then one must purchase and run ONE (1) single game: Anthology of the Killer.

    The individual chapters are accessed within the auspices of the game itself. We don't atomize Quake 1 into separate Twitch categories for Dimension of the Doomed, The Realm of Black Magic, The Netherworld, and The Elder World. Moreover, those separate episodes of Quake are all accessed from within Quake itself. All of Anthology of the Killer's episodes are accessed from within Anthology of the Killer. So why that double standard?

    Furthermore, that level of categorical atomization (or perhaps Balkanization) is deeply unhelpful for the user experience. Many streamers who are more concerned with engagement than metadata are already loath to stream outside of larger categories such as Retro because it potentially hurts their reach. Having a single game split up into 10 separate categories certainly does nothing for those folks.

    Yet it's worse for metadata people (which is to say people like me) who DO like to stream in the game-specific category for the game they're playing. Now I have to do a bunch of pointless book-keeping at a minimum of every 15 minutes if I want my categorical metadata to remain accurate even though I'm playing the same game I was playing 15 minutes ago.

    It doesn't help anyone who might potentially want to follow Anthology of the Killer as a category. Instead of following one category for the game they're suddenly burdened with following 10 categories. This probably counts against their follow limit, which is also no good at all.

    The only reason I can assume that someone did this is that each chapter in Anthology of the Killer is accompanied by a movie poster representing the chapter. These posters happen to be formatted in such a way that they make theoretically interesting category cover images on Twitch. I say "theoretically" because in truth the posters don't visually parse when reduced to the size of a postage stamp. This is an example of aesthetics over practicality where even the aesthetic goal doesn't bear out in the end product.

    Whether or not Anthology of the Killer remains classified on IGDB as a "bundle" (and I question whether that state of affairs should remain as is; it probably shouldn't but I'm hesitant to be the one to change it), it should be turned into a single category on Twitch. Having it split up into 10 separate categories with no obvious interrelation to each other is terribly unhelpful for users trying to find streamers playing the game, irritating for streamers attempting to stream in the category (categories--plural--at this juncture), awful for metadata overcomplication, misrepresents the structure of the game itself, and is a nightmare to deal with all around.

    The situation must be amended; it should all be rolled up into a single "Anthology of the Killer" category even if a special exception must be made within the IGDB -> Twitch uptake system. The present state of the matter is wholly untenable with nothing whatsoever to commend it.

    Have a category on the homepage, a row with recently went live people. Have the people who have raided the last time they went live posted on the homepage when they first go live the next time, probably capped at once a day. It could be a row of 6 title cards even, and you can click on them to go to there stream, and the next go lives kick the 6th off. Incentive/reward for people raiding keeping people on the site for yall.

    I don't know if this suggestion already exists, but I'll just ask the question again:

    I would prefer it if my Channel Raiding dashboard had a function that shows who raided me, when, and how, for more than just 30 days ago.

    I have many streamers who raided me, but I haven't been able to raid them back after 30 days.
    Be it incorrect online times, etc.

    I would find it easier if I could see who raided me and when, without the 30-day limit.

    Then I could more easily display the current users and see who I haven't raided back yet.

    I currently maintain my own list, and it's very cumbersome to constantly check and keep up-to-date.

    Каждый раз, открывая категорию, мне попадаются одни и те же стримеры (функция "рекомендовано для вас" не закрывает потребностей в полной мере).
    Предлагаю добавить функцию "переместить канал в конец списка".
    При её выборе, канал будет опускаться в конец страницы и при заходе в категории, в числе первых, будут стримеры, которых ты еще не встречал, которые могут тебя заинтересовать. А те, контент которых тебе не нравится, переместятся в конце поиска и не придётся каждый раз их пролистывать.
